Large portions of food but they desperately need to hire more servers. Or have bartenders that are standing around, help the servers out by running food to the tables. The food is probably excellent and I have heard that it is but I couldn't tell from this visit. Sadly our food was really cold by the time it was served to us. I watched our food sit on the kitchen counter for over 15min while the 2 servers were helping other tables. They were so incredibly swamped. Our server was friendly and working really hard but she just had too many tables to manage. And she said she'd only been working there about a month. Remarkably the kitchen staff were quick and had orders ready lickety split. Overall, I probably won't order the Doofers burger again because honestly it was too big. Well and the bun was soggy because it sat so long. I should have just ordered a regular cheeseburger. Our tater tots were also really cold. Took forever to pay the tab as well. Overall I think we were there 3hrs. The whole ordeal was kind of a bad experience and I left feeling really sorry for the servers. Also, I was sorry I paid a lot of money for cold food but it wasn't really the servers fault. Please hire more servers!!!

The best food in Renton. Great place to eat, drink and watch the game. There's a little something for everyone here.

Doofers Burger from Doofers Bar & Grill in Renton, WA. Burger: Bacon: Tots: This beast is a full 1-pound burger with bacon and chili. The tots were awesome. This Bastard will definitely go back at some point. Picture of dessert is down below.

BLT w/ an egg! Yummy. The pickles are delicious.

Got invited to have breakfast and Doofers it is. Had their eggs Benedict w/sausage patty substituted for the Canadian bacon. I got to say, I was surprised. Crispy edges to the muffins was perfect! I was gonna give 4 stars because the place is a bit dated and would love to see a refresher of this spot, however, I still have this meal in my head as they also made the hash browns perfectly too. It was the right amount of food as I cleaned this plate good. Awesome service as my meal was delivered right when I arrived. Delicious! Great company too, meet a real nice lady as we were eating at the bar counter. That makes this place unique as we can have breakfast to dinner at the bar counter. Would be nice to see some new colors and flooring to the place to keep it fresh.

The Bleu Cheese Burger with onion rings. Oriental salad in the back.

Pretty decent bar! Everyone minds their own business, doesnt cause a ruckus, the food is decent, and the service is great. However, the place is a bit unhygienic. PROS: -Not disruptive. There was a soccer game going on where a couple tables were closely watching, but it wasnt over the top where they make their business everyone's business. -Waitress was sweet, not bothersome, and was present to check on us after getting our meal, when it was time to order, and when we were done if we were ready for the check/if we wanted to order more. -Food & drinks. I mean a couple of us in our party ordered a beer and it tasted like it should, so thats a plus. We all ordered different items for food. The Oriental Salad, my aunt in law says its good. The Clubhouse Sandwich, my husband says wasnt bad. The Cowboy Burger, my uncle in law, said is always his go to here at Doofers so it was still great to him. The Bleu Cheese Burger, I loved. The cheese melted atop the patty with the condiments mixed in was delicious. Bun was crisp on the edges, so had satisfying bites throughout. CONS: -Place is a bit dingy but expected because it is a bar afterall. However, didnt like that you can see all the dirt at the bottom of the table and at the side of the table. Basically, cleaning is just like the phrase "sweeping under the rug". -Huge parking lot, but because its next to a venue, tons of people are parked for the venue and Doofers. Didnt have to fight much for parking though, but vacant spaces will go quick.

    Doofers.

However, there are times, you just want a bahn mi, or something quick to grab - a very Vietnamese thing. Where can you go? Enter, Renton Deli! Renton Deli, located in the Renton Highlands neighborhood, IS NOT a western/American deli. It is very much a Vietnamese deli with an all Vietnamese menu. There is no Pho to be had here. However, there are some quintessential Vietnamese grab and go classics that are here. Noodles (i.e. Bun) with sausages, Hum bao, and of course lots of Vietnamese style desserts. However, if a bahn mi is what you are looking for, look no further. There is pulled chicken, grilled pork and tofu available. Please be advised, this is not a fast process. You will be waiting at least 10-12 minutes for your sandwich. Longer if there is a line. But that's okay. Plan accordingly, as these sandwiches are made to order, and hot. Don't forget to grab some soda's in the case behind you to finish the experience. Add Renton Deli to your routine of great grab and go cuisine in our fair city of Renton.

Very pretty, To order, you walk up to the counter and place your order from the menu behind the counter The menu offer sandwiches, bowls, sharables and sides. We were going to have dinner in a few hours, so we decided to split the sandwich and some fries. I'm very glad we did. The gal who helped us was very kind and helpful. If you looked up service with a smile, you would see her face. We did tell her we were splitting the sandwich and it arrived cut in half. I don't know if that's normal or if she had it done because we were sharing. The food arrived with two plate plates (the gal heard us- great service) We ordered a side of Yucca fries, which came with an aïoli and a Caribbean roast sandwich. The fries were crispy on the outside, dusted with a signature seasoning and tender on the inside. Yucca is denser and more chewy than potato but quite tasty. The aïoli served with the fries was yummy. The real star, however is the Caribbean roast sandwich. They did not skimp on sandwich filling. The pork was tender to the point of melting in your mouth and so flavorful. I love making me some grilled onions and there were grilled ones along with some jalapeños. I don't know if it was paid, but I did find a sandwich hard to eat because it was a little messy, but let me tell you I do not stop me from finishing. I grabbed a fork so I could eat any pieces that fell out. Very tasty. great service

That being said, yesterday's visit was amazing - chicken tenders were incredibly fresh and perfectly made and cooked, and the older blonde woman was genuinely kind and helpful which made it a positive experience!! The jojos were also fresh and delicious, and the original chicken sandwich (next time we want to try the spicy though) was extremely good and came with a slice of american cheese. Their homemade ranch (.75¢ ea) that's kept inside the case on the counter with the other dressings and salads is one of the best ranch dressings we've ever had - it almost tastes just like Outback spicy ranch but without the kick. They also offer free hot sauce, ketchup and bbq packets. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the mood for some good, hot deli food!

Upping walking up to the gas station, I could smell the aroma of freshly fried food and I thought maybe I was in a for a nice treat. The food was sitted under heat lamps and most of it looked pretty fresh. The jojos are large and have a great crust on it. The seasoning is pretty solid too. The interior of the potato wedge was soft and nice contrast to the crust. The chicken tenders were fresh and actually moist. They were the most surprisingly the best thing I ate from here. The fried chicken left some to desire. The chicken wings were dry. Just dry and not good. The crust on the chicken thighs was good though. It was seasoned well and super crispy. The meat on the thigh wasn't as dry as the chicken wings but definitely not as moist or juicy as you would expect a thigh to be. The guy helping me was friendly although I had to repeat my order quite a few times. Overall, glad I tried it but in the world of gas station fried chicken - I wouldn't come out of my way to come back.

I'll be honest--the service felt a bit odd when we first walked in. We were told we could wait a while to get seated at the dinning area or that we could seat ourselves at the bar. Since it was our first time, I wasn't sure if that meant the actual bar counter or tables in the bar area. When I asked for clarification, there was a bit of an awkward pause before someone finally explained we could sit at a table in the bar section. That said, once we got settled, the experience improved. The server who took care of us was very kind and attentive. I ordered my usual go-to at breakfast spots: chicken fried steak with a biscuit. It was really good--definitely hearty and comforting without being overly greasy. That said, it is a heavy meal (fried food plus gravy), so be prepared for a post-brunch nap. The biscuit looked a little underwhelming at first, but it actually tasted great. The overall vibe of the place is very much a local dive bar feel, and the service style matches that. As long as you go in with the right expectations, it makes for an enjoyable, laid-back brunch. Also worth noting--there's a decent amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, no-frills brunch.
