Ordered a deluxe cheeseburger and a regular cheeseburger (deluxe came with tomato and onion) a large fry (they were steak fries) and 1 reg chocolate shake and 1 reg Oreo shake. The food was good and the service was good, but it did take a bit for the order to be made as there were 2 customers ahead of us and this place basically makes your food to order. It looks run down but it's one of those places that has been around for some time. The only thing I didn't like was for the size of the burgers and shakes it most likely isn't worth the $33 I spent, but it was yummy and I'll probably stop in again some time as it beats eating at the fast food places in Susanville.

The ambiance was such nostalgia for me that brought back many wonderful memories from home.

But I was still surprised that it was so expensive. California has some great things, but it's always expensive. The guy who took my order said things were getting expensive and I understood. The sandwich was really delicious, there could've been a little more coleslaw. But pretty amazing. I'll get three or four meals out of the brisket. Delicious!

I had tea and you order at the counter and that's when I received my tea. It was pretty good to you though. If I return, it will not be for the chicken wings.
