I noticed quite a few five star reviews for this joint on Yelp. This place is supposed to make the genuine NYC pizza with thin crust. I ordered 2 cannolis ($11) and an 18" Deluxe pizza ($25.25) with pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms, sausage, onions, and black olives. When I arrived, David Wheelock, at the cash register, told me they had just removed my pizza. He handed me the box and said he had to go in the back to make the cannolis. I'm not sure if they really make them there or not, but they had lot of cream filling and weren't too sweet. The pizza had a lovely, crispy crust and a ton of toppings. I wish this place was closer. There were strands of shredded cheese piled on pepperoni you can clearly tell had not melted at all. I should have called to complain but by then an hr had passed so I ended up throwing it in the oven to melt finish cooking it. Even then I wasn't impressed. Considering how expensive it was at almost $20 I expected a lot better quality.
