Based on reviews we headed out on our 20 some minute drive to get here. Nice staff, seemingly family owned. The food was ok. These days that's not good enough for the price tag you pay. I was a little disappointed based on the reviews, and I recognize everyone's tastes are different. I had the lemongrass chicken and rice dish (I think it was #62). My husband had a similar dish that added egg rolls. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee - it was excellent. The food: I liked my chicken, very well cooked - I would have liked a bit more flavor. Good taste, just needed more of the seasoning. My husband was similar, he did not like the egg rolls. It's not bad, not great, for the $$ ( we spent about $50) - - - -probably won't bring me back.

Cute little place tucked into a strip mall. We were looking for something to eat on a cold day and soup sounded perfect. My husband started with the shrimp and pork spring roll and he really liked it. They do not skimp on the filling! I wasn't sure what to order, as the menu has so many options, the owner came over and was asking what I liked and didn't like and he said he had just the thing. I got rice noodle soup with tofu and vegetables and my husband got the rare beef with rice noodles and extra shrimp. The portion sizes are very generous and the broth was absolutely delicious! This place did not disappoint! The owner was so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

My family and I got some amazing pho and egg rolls from this place. Also a few other dishes we shared to try more than one thing. The service was great and the owner was very friendly. They answered all of our questions and let us know how to eat the egg rolls. We weren't waiting long for our food which was awesome, since they were busy! We all enjoyed it and will be returning!

This is my absolute favorite pho place when I'm not at my grandparents! My husband and I probably dine here 1-2 times a month. Their rare beef noodle pho is the best. The service is very quick and attentive. It is also nice and peaceful to eat here.

We've never been able to get here when it's opened, after finishing up some biz in the area we decided to see if it was open, it was so we're here. Not overly busy, so seating was easy to find. Started with pork & shrimp spring rolls, ordered Curried Beef and Curried Chicken for entrees. With the obligatory Thai Tea. Spring rolls came out fast, with a peanut sauce topped with peanuts and Sriracha sauce. Nice heat to go with the sweet. Following right behind the appetizers was our entrees. Both were excellent, mild heat and loaded with flavor. The beef was tender as was the chicken. There was just enough to fill us up. The service was outstanding and our meal was relatively inexpensive. Sorry we didn't stop by here sooner.

We ordered the special chicken clay pot and the beef pho. $25. This is the best pho in Rio Rancho and while the clay pot is not as good as the clay pot at Basil Leaf - it is still pretty good. The clay pot is full of many more things than chicken. The mushrooms were especially tasty. This one compares to the combination clay pot at most places because it has shrimp and lap cheong and nuts. This is a great place to eat as the staff and everything we've ever tried has always been delightful.

I was really hungry tonight and I gotta say I was really let down by the portion size of #48, 3 shrimps, beef portion could have been more, and there should have been more rice... especially when you're paying extra for broken rice. Egg was cooked fine, but really would want Vietnamese egg cake... egg roll was good along with the bean curd wrap. Sauce was good, it tasted similar to my mom's style. Overall my rice dish was just a tease because of portion size. My fiancé got the S3 per the usual.. her plate was full of shrimp. My fiancé liked her dish, today I though it a little lacking and there was way too much sauce. Thai iced tea was good. I usually get Pho or Bun Bo Hue and it seems that is what you should get to get your money's worth.. not the rice dishes. Today service was lacking as they seemed a little short handed.. we didn't even get utensils with napkins, we got it ourselves and so did another couple. Food took a little long to come out, again they seemed short handed. We'll still come back, but I'll stick to Bun Bo Hue.

B5 combo is a solid can't go wrong choice. All the protein was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Egg roll was good. Fish sauce is going to be the grey area because thats always personal preference, it was good, but would say more on the fishy side, which my fiance liked. Im used to my moms sauce which is more on the sweeter side. I also got an Vietnamese iced coffee and I will say it is probably the best Vietnamese ice coffee that I've had in thr ABQ area. Its was strong and nice and smooth. It wasn't too sweet. The reason why I say this is the best iced Vietnamese cofee I've had in ABQ is because other places, the Vietnamese coffee is bitter or its not balanced enough with flavor. At over $8 for a cup, it's pricey but if i need a Vietnamese coffee fix, this will be a good to spot. I will say they keep it really clean in there and the white esthetic was pleasing on this sunny Sunday while we were eating in there.

Typically I'd get a bowl of Pho but the temperature was about 100 so no Pho. I opted to try the Noodle Salad bowl w raw veggies and assorted cooked meats on top. (See pic) The nice thing was that half the dining room had Vietnamese customers which I consider a good sign for authenticity. The place was very clean and attractive. The staff were extremely polite. My Noodle Salad Bowl came in a big paper bowl w a lid so I was able to eat half and take the rest home easily. (See pic.) It was okay but I wasn't crazy about it. It's not down to an agreed list of two or three. When you open up the question, you get a dozen or more answers. That situation can mean many or all of several things: (1) Maybe Albuquerque really is VN food heaven; (2) Maybe there is no consensus on what constitutes really good VN food; or (3) Maybe most people pick the first VN restaurant they like and stick with it. I did #3 for years, sticking with Vietnam 200 and Viet Taste. Well, things change -- great restaurants slip and deliver mediocre experiences. Or we just get tired of same old, same old, and want to look around. I began looking around with a trip to Saigon City, an old restaurant in a slick new location in the same strip with Pars Middle Eastern restaurant in 25 Way. I went last night with my daughter and son-in-law, both experienced eaters. I previewed their menu on their website (a good thing when faced with a huge menu). I selected three items I wanted to try. Leaving the Pho for a later trip, I chose to begin with the green mussels stir fried and dished up with spicy veggie bits. There were six on the plate. I had to move quickly to get two of them. What a treat! I could make a meal of a plate of six of these. Next, I went for B3, the code for grilled chicken and veggies over vermicelli noodles with chili sauce. I like my food spicy. After the mussels, my hopes were up. Well, B3 was a very tasty dish. I would order it again anytime. Fresh, fresh, fresh. But pretty mild in the spice category. The chicken was nicely spiced, and there were red flakes in the vermicelli noodles, but not nearly enough of them. I tried my daughter's pork and vermicelli and thought it a bit better. We finished the meal with sicky rice & mango. The menu offers only sticky rice and banana, which is itself a very nice dessert, but our server mentioned that we could have mango instead for slightly higher charge. Since sticky rice with mango in coconut sauce is one of the five greatest desserts in the world, I went for it with gusto. This dish was the only slight stumble in the meal. I thought the rice was a bit underdone and the sauce not too thrilling. Not bad, but not at the standard set by the other dishes. I look forward to returning soon to try the pho. The service was very good, very friendly, and very helpful. I recommend sitting near the front of the restaurant and away from the service area where the staff conduct loud conversations among themselves. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and lighted. I was very comfortable eating at this fine restaurant.

Their wings were amazing! They honestly would hold their own against any restaurant that only does wings! They were sweet and salty Vietnamese flavor with just a little heat, I will say they cheated me in one wing using the wing tip does not count! Other than that take it for what it is a convenience store serving in to go boxes.
