    Firehouse Steak & Cheese®
    Tiffany B.

I got to try Firehouse Subs thru Door Dash. I ordered the Firehouse steak & cheese. And although it was made well and tasted great, I'll have to give this place 3 stars because of the price. I thought for $18, I would have gotten more meat or a bigger sandwich. Compared to other similar sandwich shops, this place is pricier and gives less meat, and I sadly don't think it's worth $18 for an 8 inch sandwich. One highlight is that their sandwiches weren't messy, so it was easy to eat.

Never again. I paid $11.00 for this sandwich which took 15 minutes to make. I understand that you have online orders to make but when there is a customer in front of you and 3 people working why do live customers have to wait? Are you telling me that no one was available to make my sandwich?

veggie sandwich with onions, mushrooms, and green bell peppers grilled with cheese before adding fresh produce on top

The only sub shop around here (that I am aware of) that does a mean grilled onion, mushroom, and green bell pepper vegetarian sammich with melted cheese on top. It's so good and gives me occasional cravings. It will get soggy quickly so it's kind of a chore for a slow eater like myself. Fork n Knife situation ensues. They've also got a build your own option if you want a cold vegetarian sammich like some kind of weirdo (me). And yeah yeah they also have all the treats for the eaters of the meats. On occasion my beloved and I work this place into our quick lunch or dinner rotation. Service is decent, and the wait is nothing at all. Sometimes we use the app to order ahead or order takeout, when it feels like working. I'm still somewhat of a kid at heart so I like the selection of chips, the many flavor coke machine, and the classic Spongebob re runs they usually have on. Date Night hacks, follow me (jk don't) for more. Parking Corner: They're located in the Crocker Village Safeway shopping center, and there's usually a parking space available when we come. Outside on a nice day, when the weather isn't too Mustafarian or Kaminoan, they have tables and chairs to further entrance lovers of ambiance dining. Vegan Corner: I confess I don't know if they have anything vegan. You would have to ask about the presence of vegan cheese and buns. The grilled veggie option would be really tasty if the buns turned out to be vegan. I'll try to remember to ask next time I go in. Bathroom Report: Would you believe I've never used it? David O. reports that it is standard and acceptable.

I don't care what anyone says... firehouse has been and probably always will be one of my favorite sandwich spots! First-- it reminds me of the Midwest cuz the first time I had it was in the Midwest! Second, the mission... fire fighters.. all of it. Get a sandwich and give back! How great! 3rd... I'm addicted to the turkey bacon ranch! It's so yummy! I also love the peppercorn ranch here! Pro tip, get the app.. get free food and get a birthday sub for free!

Wanted to try a new sandwich place. We have our regular spots. This location is very clean and very brightly colored. Customer service was great and the various sandwiches were explained. I had French dip on the brain but they don't have that. Smokin Triple Stack Brisket, smoked turkey breast, honey ham, sweet and tangy slaw, light mayo and BBq sauce on wheat sub roll. The sub roll was fresh. The sandwich was good, the slaw was a nice touch. The sandwich was not crafted with pride. I feel like there was a bit of false advertising, the sandwich looks nothing like the picture on the wall. I mean this is normally true for any sandwich but this was not even close. U eat with ur eyes people.

Even with the impacts of COVID the food quality and service remains the same. Good and reliable. Staff changed as well but management does a great job training them so it feels like nothing changed. I highly recommend this place over other sandwich locations. Plus you're supporting local firefighters!

First time trying their sand-which here and so its my first time inside too. Fire house I found out the owner of the dad was firefighter. Cool. I am surprised their sandwich was really good, bread was yummy, I has the ladder something sand-which name. It was good, bread was crispy, lots of flavor and I added mustard. Service was fast even though they are really busy the day I was there. Lots of chair to dine in and great location near by sac city. Highly Recommend. Thank you

Delicious sandwich! Im not much of a sandwich person, but T-mobile Tuesday voucher was way too good to miss. Thank you to T-mobile and the staff at firehouse subs for an incredibly experience to try the Hook & Ladder sub. Crisp & toasty buns with melted Monterey cheese, honey ham, & turkey plus the veggies all combined satisfied my hunger from a late lunch. Giving a wedge of pickle as the standard side was great to me too. I'm a pickle fanatic. The diner looked awesome to dine in. Partially looks part fire station and an old school diner concept. I'm for sure going back to try some other subs next time.

I tried Firehouse Subs for the first time because I had a T-Mobile promo for a free medium sandwich with purchase. I called ahead so my sandwich was ready when I arrived. I ordered the Firehouse Steak and Cheese with Mushrooms and it was delicious! Tasted similar to a Philly cheesesteak and the portion of meat was generous. I got it "Fully Included" so it had deli mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle on the side. Loved the soft bread and fresh produce. It would've been about $9, which I thought was fair as it was big enough to share. Overall, I would return when in the mood for a warm sandwich! I recommend if you like sandwiches - definitely a better option than Subway.

    Medium Veggie Sandwich for $8.49
    Sharlene H.

First-Timer! I haven't heard of this place before but we received a coupon for a free medium sandwich with a purchase of a medium sandwich, chips and a drink. Our total came to $13.49. I ordered the Veggie Sandwich on wheat bread that came with lettuce, tomato, onions, mushrooms and three types of cheese. I asked if I add other veggies if it would cost extra and the cashier replied, "depends on which one you order". I wish she was more elaborate with what types of veggies they had but I felt a little rushed because I asked several questions. My daughter ordered the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket sandwich with lettuce, no mayo and bbq sauce on the side. We were asked by an employee how everything was. Overall, I really enjoyed Firehouse Subs. For being a veggie sandwich, it was very filling. My daughter also enjoyed her sandwich. They were both served warm. I loved the firehouse decoration and the variety of hot sauces that they have. I will come back and try the other sandwiches. Customer Service was overall good. I saw on other reviews that they talk in code. We didn't experience that on our visit but hoping to on our next visit.

    Firehouse Sub's Meatball Sub
    Michelle S.

This is my first time eating and ordering from Firehouse Subs, I ordered a meatball sub, and it was so delicious, better than any other meatball sub, and without mentioning the other sub places, you know who they are, they really can't compete with The Firehouse Subs. I most definitely will be a repeat customer.

Everything was high quality and I loved that they have these options available. The Caesar dressing is delicious and I'll definitely be stopping in again for more. I've been using it on salads since picking it up. It had a good amount of parmesan cheese so The pickles have a very unique flavor, they're definitely tasty but not my favorite version of Dill Pickles- they are more tangy and zingy that traditional dill pickles, not bad just not what I expected. (I was thinking more kosher dill, like Claussen pickles or like the pickles you'd get at a Jewish deli). The sandwich was the star of the show, for $11.99 it was HUGE, the Italian Hero comes with prosciutto, mortadella, salami, roasted red bell pepper, and provolone- all sandwiches also come with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and pepperoncini. The combination of ingredients on Dutch Crunch bread was amazing and I think having roasted red peppers as an option is underrated, it elevates a sandwich so much. While I wouldn't do my normal shopping here, I would absolutely come for specialty items or pick up needed items for convenience. I'll be back again soon!
