And this is the first drive thru subway I've ever seen! Pretty cool. The service is amazing! The employees are really nice and have such good attitudes. The manager was even there and she was awesome. My bf ordered the Italian sandwich and I got half a meatball sandwich. I haven't had one in so long and this one was alright. Not bad tho. I should've went for a cold sandwich. The ingredients all look fresh and the station looked clean. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service at this location. We haven't had much luck over the past couple of years with Subway in locations from Maine to California. But we were running late headed back to AZ and figured a mediocre sub would be better than a dinner at home at 9:00 PM. So we stopped in. My husband had a BMT and I had the spicy Italian. Both subs were excellent. The bread was fresh, the cold cuts were plentiful and the sandwich artist made our subs with exactly the veggies we wanted. The subway close to the marine corp base in 29 palms on Adobe. The older Mexican lady that worker at the restaurant on 4/23/26 at 930am. She was very rude. I went through the drive thru and order a sandwich. After I paid for my sandwich an got my sandwich. I parked my car and went in to use the restroom. She told me I have to be a paying customer. Today for lunch at the Popeyes at the PX MCAGCC 29 Palms. Only two people working so service was SUPER SLOW. Don't get me wrong the two that were there were working their butt off. They were at least one to two people short so that we the customer's didn't have to wait forever. Got to the counter and had to wait at least 10 minutes so finally take my order. Once I did I am told that they have no patties, so no chicken sandwich. No tenders, and the only sides they had were French fries and mac-n-cheese. Basically everything i ordered they didn't have. I ended up getting nothing and went elsewhere. Very disappointing. Very unprofessional on their part for sure. It'll probably be a hot minute before I go back there. I read some negative reviews and cannot believe this is the same location. **NEWSFLASH ! As it turns out, it isn't the same. The new management has worked magic and they say they're just getting started. This is, by far, the cleanest, friendliest Subway we have ever been to. We came at the tail end of the lunch rush and the place was spotless. The food area was immaculate. If staff wasn't making sandwiches, they were cleaning up. The soda machine left us speechless because it was beautifully clean. When was the last time you have ever seen a clean soda machine area? The Philly sandwich was better than expected. It was flavorful and the meat was moist. Really! There are a bunch of new sandwiches and we think their numbers correlate to NFL players. Clever. We had to meet the manager, who turned out to be the owners, Tina and Joe. They have previously owned a Subway, which may explain why this one is exceptional. Subway stan here. Staying in 29P and wish I knew about this store sooner. Best subway store out of any Subways in all the states I've visited, hands down. Don't let the Schmitt Creek vibe of the town deter you. It's located next to DMV outside the 29P military base. This subway store is super clean and modern, AND has a drive thru! When I walked in my mobile order was ready and waiting on the shelf. I heard you can also pick up mobile orders at the drive thru. My sandwiches (FLBOGO) were made beautifully. Comparing this Subway against other Subways all over the world: Everyone knows what to expect when they order at Subway, so I'll only address what makes this Subway location better or worse than other locations. Positives: There is nothing overtly unclean or unprofessional about the service. It's a convenient location with the added bonus of a drive-thru lane. It accepts both online and drive-thru orders. The menu is standard and the hours open are generous to all schedules. Negatives: Of the hundreds of Subways I've been to across the United States, in several different countries and continents, this location is the most miserly with toppings. The "sandwich artists" must use tweezers to select each piece of green peppers, onions and olives out for each sandwich. I've been to Michelin starred restaurants that are more generous with shaving black truffle on the dish, than if you ask for extra onion here at Subway. You may get one extra sliver. It's like the vegetables are subtracted from their paycheck. I've tried and tried to get something besides an empty sandwich, both asking in person and ordering double on ingredients on the app, and there must be a policy that doesn't allow more than 3 slivers of each vegetable. Also, when I ask for the sandwich untoasted, they still toast it anyway. I intend to toss it in the fridge to eat, and heat later. Not eat directly after. So toasting it just dries it out faster. But, no matter if I ask or add it in the notes on the app, the restaurant will still toast it. I've had to stop caring. read more

Very nice and toasted it I ask him to toast it a little more it wasn't even any browning on the bread. The closest Subway near Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. The place is clean and the staff (one guy at the front when we were ordering) was courteous. We ordered 2 loaded baked potato, 2 brocolli cheese soup and 6 cookies. While everyone was busy in the kitcheb preparing sandwiches for the drive thru customers, I notice that the lady was not wearing any gloves and she was touching her headset and scratching her shoulder.
