Pretty much like Subway. The place was clean and the one worker there was very friendly and courteous. They also had some outdoor seating available which definitely added a good touch. It was a pleasure being in a store where the staff was happy to see you and help you. There were three of us and we all had our own custom made sandwiches. I found everything here to be tasty and definitely fresh. I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich and have always liked the idea of being able to customize it with the condiments that I choose. The bread was really good... Fresh and tasty! Pricing is very fair and I am looking forward to be able to stop by one of their locations in the future. KUDOs to the team at Jimmy Johns.

We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves at the time we went and the owner/chef, Jeff, was a great host with many personal stories about the history of Utica and his personal colorful past. We had his stuffed French toast which was awesome and some eggs. The coffee and tea are self serve and there are seats at the counter and a couple tables. The place only seats around 16 people but he assured us that he occasionally gets many more in there at a time. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch during the week (its closed on weekends) and don't need any frills, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

It crunched when I bit through it, but the crunch was not from the breading or the pickles; the meat itself was tough like it was heavily "pumped up" with a saltwater solution or something to make it juicy and full. Luckily, I was able to find the secret entrance to the service area without having to get on thruway. While, I was so happy and lucky to find the secret passage was not so happy with my meal and the service received at this location. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of any of the locations on the thruway as they tend to be sub par. Location was not busy but staff took quite awhile to take and fulfill orders. Like all non freestanding locations they do not use the chick fil an app to take orders, earn points, and pay through app. Additionally, they do not offer chicken strips. Food tasted like it had refrigerator burn and had been reheated and did not taste fresh. Service was slow and had to wait a considerable amount of time for service. While it is a great fast food, food choice on thruway it is really not worth it given cost and quality of food.
