I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.

I got an iced nonfat Copper State (caramel and cinnamon?) latte. I like that their iced drinks go up to 32oz and their menu clearly states how many shots are in each size. The menu has a good variety with both food items and drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies, sodas, etc.). This was our last stop before hitting the road back to Vegas, and it was strong and tasty. There aren't a ton of coffee options in town but it's easy to see why this is the favorite.

Brewed Awakenings was really doing the business the day we came with a line out the door. The drive-thru line snaked on forever too. My husband and I decided to get a simple coffee and a pastry to go so we wouldn't have to wait. The very, very sweet cashier misunderstood me asking about a bear claw (maybe she didn't know what it was?) and steered me towards something else with almonds. It wasn't my first choice but ended up tasting pretty good. I was just impressed by how kind and nice she was even though there were so many people waiting to order.

My husband and I came in an hour before closing to grab some lunch before our long drive home. We felt bad coming in so close to closing, particularly since no one else was dining, but within 10 minutes of sitting down the cafe filled up with about 6 other tables. Phew! Our waitress was real friendly and served us quickly without making us feel rushed. I also appreciate her bringing me a fresh iced tea in a to-go cup before we left! I very much enjoyed that during the first leg of our journey home :) They offer a very sizable menu with both breakfast and lunch items. So many things sounded good, but I was incredibly happy with my choice of the Canyon Club. My sandwich was huge and stacked with quality meat. I chose fried pickles as my side and it was a mighty generous portion. My husband had the Patty Melt with a side of fries. He usually has no problem finishing his meal, but his sandwich and fry portion was also so big he struggled to finish. He was also happy with the portion size and flavor. The inside felt like a museum with how well maintained some of the historical elements were. Booths were very comfy, even for us plus sized folks, and there were two gender neutral restrooms on site. You can enter the cafe through the main front door or down the back alley off Route 66. We usually come to Williams once per year (sometimes twice); we'll definitely be making this our go-to lunch spot!

I really liked the Ma/Pa restaurant feel, which gave it that homemade, comfort feel. Inside, they had a small souvenir shop with nicknacks, hats, shirts, cups, and more. They also serve homemade desserts like keyline pies, large cookies, banana bread, and more! The staff were very friendly, kind, and always attended to us when needed. I had a traditional type breakfast plate with a side of biscuits and gravy. It all came together with eggs, hash browns bacon, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The food was great. The eggs were a little bland, but nothing bad. The bacon could have been a little more crispy. My fave from the whole plate was the biscuits and gravy! It had good flavor to it and the biscuits tasted fresh and soft, like they were homemade! Later that evening, we were craving chicken wings for dinner. When we checked Yelp for places with chicken wings, this place appeared with positive comments about the wings. So we ordered to-go from here for dinner. We had bbq chicken wings, French fries, and fried zucchini. The chicken wings were great very saucy, which I like! The zucchini pieces could have used a little flavor. Though they were fried perfectly and tasted fresh when ate them, they probably could have used a little more salt or something. It seemed a little bland to my taste, but overall they were delicious! Portions for both breakfast and dinner were huge! So come hungry! Overall, the service and food were great! Definitely worth a try if you're a first timer. Thank you for the great service and food!

The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

It wasn't a total waste but it definitely seems like things have changed since the rave barbecue reviews... We came in the early afternoon after a day of driving through monsoons with a toddler. The location is right as you drive into town, super welcoming, and very kid friendly - tons of contained outdoor play space, with lawn games, a mining area, a sasquatch statue for photos, and tons of covered seating. They even have wifi for me to get some work done. All plusses! Things took a steep turn when we went to order. After waiting in line, there is a tiny sign at the register that they are out of several products - no pulled chicken, pulled pork, texas twinkies, or wings. The last two were going to be in my order, so we did a quick pivot for a Partner Platter for $45, with ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese, and beans. It should have been a red flag that they didn't ask if I wanted lean or fatty cut brisket. What arrived was a mess. My husband asked what proteins I got because it wasn't visually evident. The ribs had a bark on them that was 2/3rds of the way to jerky. The brisket was so shredded and dry, even their three house sauces couldn't save it. The sausage was served split and cut side town, because it too was dry AF. I hate letting protein go to waste but these were awful. Sides were fine, my toddler inhaled half the macaroni and the beans were okay. Cornbread has a bit of jalapeno in it, which I prefer over sweeter versions that are more common. But damn, this was a $50+ meal that basically fed a two year old. Service throughout was super friendly. It's not the food runner's fault that the kitchen is serving up dried out proteins and I am understanding about the fact that their walk in supposedly crapped out (the explanation we were given for so many items being unavailable). None of the other customers seemed visibly upset by their food quality, but I gradually noticed most people were ordering burgers, so maybe we ordered wrong. But if this is the norm for the barbecue they serve, they need to take it off the menu altogether. Great spot for kids to play and to stretch your legs after a long drive, or to enjoy the nice weather - but maybe just grab drinks or apps.
