The parking is street parking so during busier days like the weekend, parking may be a bit more difficult but there is a lot if you drive a little further down that you can park if you have another person with you.. if you're just grabbing a quick coffee to go. (This parking area isn't designated for the coffee shop so park at your own risk!!* - I stayed in the car while my boyfriend picked up our drinks) My boyfriend wanted to try out this place as he drove by it several times and so we stopped by on the weekend! I ordered a iced latte with their house made balboa berry syrup added which consists of blueberries and lavender. Two flavors that I often enjoy in my coffee. It was slightly watered down and could've use a bit more pumps of syrup but overall coffee didn't taste too bad! I will definitely try their other lattes in the future. Thank you. I'll be going back... but some feedback first: 1. You charge $6 for 25g coffee for about 400g water. This is more or less the Golden Cup Standard for a single cup of coffee. 2. 16:1 is not necessarily the standard of the entire world. Some of the best coffees in the world are made much stronger elsewhere, but diluted during preparation here in the U.S. 3. 212° for a pour over is too hot, let alone a medium roast. At this temperature you might as well boil the medium roast for 2 minutes to smooth it out more. Based on my readings and personal roasting and brewing experience, I would recommend no more than 205-207° for a medium to dark roast coffee, and that's pushing it. 4. I'm the customer. I want a stronger proportion at 205°. Don't tell me you're "going to charge me double" for 5g more of coffee. That's irreverent. If a customer requests a stronger coffee ratio, why make it an issue? After all, this is a "pour over," not an already made house coffee. You should not "charge double" or threaten to charge double for 5g more coffee. read more

I've always had a great time here! I get a cold matcha with whole milk and every time it's perfect, never too grassy very fresh. Such a nice environment, I love the personal touches inside the shop and the baristas are always super kind. Especially great service from Sam, Joanna, & Julian! A tiny tiny cozy coffee shop in Laguna beach! They have a variety of home made syrups and a very traditional coffee menu. We always look for 3rd wave, or the best, coffee shops and this seemed to be the only option in Laguna beach, so we have it a try. The coffee was pretty good, I think I should have asked for light syrup (home made chocolate sounded amazing), mine was a bit too sweet. Cappuccino was great, with some latte art on it. They also have a daily selection of pastries, but only a few left by the time we came in. An almond croissant was good, but biscotti was strange - it wasn't crispy or butter... it tasted good, but not sure it qualifies as a biscotti. read more

Love that they make their syrups in house. I got an iced latte with their housemade Madagascar vanilla syrup no sugar adjustments and it was so good. I usually order my drinks half sweet at other coffee shops but as per the barista's recommendation I kept it full sweet here and that was definitely perfect sweetness. This is a cozy little shop with a friendly vibe. The guys running the place seemed skilled based on the discussions I heard and the service was friendly. The coffee here is a delight. I had their house cold brew and was surprised to find it wasn't too bright (which is typical of smaller places like this from my experience). It had great hints of caramel and sweet bread which was also unexpected for a cold brew! I really enjoyed my experience here this morning. Pretty chill, cute little spot by the beach and really good coffee. Caitlyn and Ibrahim were super friendly and pulled quality shots. Caitlyn is clearly well educated and experienced with coffee, and it was nice watching her train Ibrahim. Definitely plan on visiting again soon. I ordered a single origin espresso shot as well as an iced americano with oat. The shot was balanced and not at all sour, whereas the americano was flavorful and perfectly bold. Not to sound pretentious, but I know good coffee from bad. I previously went to a coffee shop before I moved to the area that roasted their coffee in house to perfection. Best coffee I've ever had, and this place is just as good! If you know your coffee and want to have an actually good drink, this is the place to go to in Laguna. I've had friends recommend other spots, but none are as good as this place. Service is friendly and fast, I've never had any issues, and they are very pet friendly which I find charming. The coffee shop has a very chilled, warm ambience, nicely decorated, and is a chilled place to read the paper or your phone while drinking a coffee. We've been here once before, and the workers were pretty nice, but yesterday was not the case....My husband was the first to try his drink and after the first sip, he mentioned the drink tasting sour... As a barista myself, I can instantly tell the milk was spoiled. I kindly went up to ask if the flavor was salted or something else that could possibly make the drink taste a little different, or if the milk was bad.. I was ignored by the guy with a pony tail and he made a snarky comment under his breath saying "it's probably not the milk".. and then I continued to be ignored by him and the girl who took my order... When I asked if it was possible to have it remade, they all looked away, and almost expected me to walk away..... finally one girl talked to me and had my drink remade......... I even got my mom a coffee to go and her first sip she goes "this milk is rotten"..... I must also mention that this guy was rude to many customers and was annoyed of them asking the simple questions... why work in coffee if you don't like talking to or helping people have a good experience?? read more

Best matcha latte I've had in a really long time! They don't skimp on the powder so the milk doesn't overpower the flavor, and it's not pre-sweetened (thank god). I got oat milk and was pleased to see they don't charge extra for alt milks which is thoughtful :) They also have some nice specialty syrup flavors, I recommend lavender. I believe they're homemade!
