Best coffee in the world!!!! Philz is unmatched - their cold brews are sooo delish - I love the staple mint mojito, honey haze, rose & oatmeal cookie!

Absolutely love this location! It's super close to my job, so it's become my go-to spot. Parking is always easy (huge plus). They nail my drink right the first time, every time -but I also appreciate that they always remind me they'll remake it if I'm not happy. The space itself is big, open, and really comfortable, with plenty of outlets if you want to get work done or study. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in Dana Point! Tried their iced caramel banana brew with oat milk instead of almond milk and OOOH IM OBSESSED!!

The employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We got a dark chocolate mocha that she asked how sweet we liked it. We said not too sweet. It was great! Tried the green chili burrito. It was good. A cute and upbeat place.

Welcome to Dana point PHILZ! We stoped in here finally- employees very nice, love the ambiance! Haven't been to one of these since I've lived in the Bay Area. They made be an oat milk iced latte with Stevia, and it was delicious! Will definitely come back in the future.

Staff was friendly but first off, anytime you hand me an ICED coffee in a PAPER cup, I'm suspicious of what you're trying to hide. It's nice to see what the coffee looks like not just from top view. The menu shows only top angle which leaves a lot to be imagined. The coffee was basically hot coffee with ice cubes that quickly melt. And the coffee lacked boldness to be able to handle being turned into iced coffee. Didn't see any espresso options. Also, everything on the menu states "5-460 calories" at the bottom of the menu but neglects to show accurate calories per drink. 5-460 calories is useless information when there are more than 10+ different sugary coffee options.

Wonderful staff of young hard workers. Very friendly. One worker helped me pick out a delicious honey drizzled coffee and she gave all the reasons to choose it. I really appreciate a knowledgeable staff. Coffee prices are what you would expect, about $6 a medium specialty drink. There is minimal 2 hour parking around the back. Ambience...There are desks for plugging in your tech and getting some work done. Their is also a kids style area with books and crayons in a room which is away from the front entry doors. This establishment also has outdoor seating.

This is such a bright and vibrant coffee shop with very kind staff. They only serve pour overs. I've never had an infused pour over but got cinnamon and yum! I love the art in here and the coffee was very yummy. Definitely worth a visit especially if during the farmers market, which is right across the street.

From Chicago, first time at Philz with my daughter. Here are some thoughts: -It has a smaller menu than I'm used to, but some really interesting drinks! -I ordered the Philtered soul cold brew, and it was the best (not bitter) cold brew I've ever had. -Really colorful, interesting decor. -The staff were very friendly and helpful! I'd come back!

First time at Philz. I was impressed by many things! This location is very spacious with tons of places to work. They have long tables, benches, couches. The vibe is somewhat urban and loungy and I love that. Also, they have some fantastic art as well as community boards with different businesses and events advertised. My only gripe...why is the logo orange and the umbrellas and chairs outside yellow...overall I'm very happy to have a Philz in DP!

This little coffee shop just opened. I had never been to a Philz However , it is quite different than any coffee shop. I think that you will ever go to the level of quality of coffee is absolutely outstanding. The service was good . The complicated way you order your coffee is just not for me. They have a wonderful outdoor patio and a large, indoor seating area dog, friendly kid, friendly as a matter, in fact there seemed to be more babies and more mamas than anybody else having coffee that day. And I really loved the music .

Stopped here for a quick coffee before heading to the beach but it wasn't as quick as we expected. There were a lot of people here for a Sunday morning! I think next time we'd try ordering ahead on the app. We ordered the Gingersnap, Blueberry Breeze (a seasonal item), and the three cheese egg bites. The egg bites definitely give Starbucks a run for its money, very tasty. The Blueberry Breeze was quite refreshing! A little too sweet but that's okay. The Gingersnap was also delicious, such a throwback. Not in Dana Point often but this is a great spot for coffee if you are.

I would give it 5 stars but for a few things. I've been in here 2x now in the past month for a visit. The coffee is definitely really, really good, some of my favorite. I was not that impressed with one of the specialty beverages, but it wasn't bad-just a good way to spoil what could be an even better cup of coffee. On my most recent visit, first they lost the ticket, causing an unusually longer than normal wait. Then, when the manager or whoever it was apologized very politely, another employee remade the drink in a larger size than we asked for and iced, when I had asked for hot. So she had to remake it again hot. She gave us both drinks I guess as an appeasement for the error and extended wait time. I know it's busy and kind of hard in a place like this, but I would have preferred to have the beverage comped instead of being charged for it and another beverage which we were not going to be able to drink added. Or she could have given me a $5 gift card for the error-something like that. I just don't think getting an extra beverage and a larger size is the best way to go. I also noticed they say no dogs on the door, so the first time I went I waited outside while my friend went in and ordered for us both. Then, on that occasion and on today's visit, I see people walking in with multiple dogs and no one says anything. So which is it? These were obviously not service dogs. Please, enforce the rules or allow dogs. And now I see on Yelp it says dogs allowed. I'm so confused! I think she's the manager, there's a very petite, young lady who on the first visit offered my dog a treat as we were waiting outside, and then she was the same one who apologized to me for the drink mistake. She seems to be on top of things and attentive whenever needed. Kudos to her! I will go back, just hoping they will fine tune their operation a bit more and make the doggie rules fair for everyone.

Moist, fluffy, and bursting with flavor, they practically dance on your taste buds! If you're not careful, you might just end up ordering a second stack--no judgment here! And don't even get me started on the **spam musubi**. It's like a warm hug from an old friend--authentic and oh-so-delicious! You can almost hear the waves crashing as you take your first bite. Now, let's talk about the **kalibi **. Cooked to perfection, it's the kind of dish that makes you want to shout "Aloha!" at the top of your lungs. Being the foodie I am, of course I provided restaurant recommendations, so I advised our Queen that we should eat breakfast at the social media viral Breezy. I had Breezy on my Yelp Want To Go list and I'm glad my Pahtner greenlit my restaurant rec. Believe the hype folks, Breezy is a must eat spot because of their gastronomically delish grub, the cool and hip ambience, and spectacular customer service from the young Filipina. Order their adobo breakfast burrito, banana pancake, and the "Kali" latte. You're welcome!!! Breezy is located in San Capistrano, CA., approximately less than an hour drive from North County San Diego. The restaurant can be found within the Los Rios Historic District specifically on the corner of Camino Capistrano and Verdugo Street. It's one of the businesses within the Capistrano Plaza. If you want to be adventurous, take the Amtrak to the San Juan Capo stop and you can easily walk to the restaurant as well as other fun spots. We drove to Breezy and were able to park in a Public Parking lot behind the restaurant, which was only $4 for two hours. Breezy doesn't take reservations, so I recommend you do what we did and arrive when they open at 8am or close to to opening. It's a popular eatery and you'll have to wait if you visit during peak dining hours. There is a good amount of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating with round wooden and square tables and rattan seats. There's also bartop seating where you can watch their baristas make their specialty coffees. The owners did an amazing job with a beautiful interior decor with a focal point mural of lady with a Hawaiian flower in her hair, a green backdrop with neon "Keep It Breezy" accent lighting, pink glassware and centerpieces, and decorative light fixtures to add to the ambience. The young Filipina provided quality customer service, was friendly, and had the welcoming Aloha spirit. Please keep in mind that Breezy is a popular Filipino and Hawaiian fusion restaurant as I've seen the restaurant reviewed by Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram foodies, which is how I was introduced to this spot. Be prepared to wait if you come after opening or during peak dining hours. I can assure you that if you do end up waiting for a table, it is well worth the wait to feast on some amazing food. The hype is most definitely real. For my breakfast meal, I ordered the Adobo Breakfast Burrito, one Banana Pancake, a hot "Kali" Latte to wash it down, and I got to taste the birthday girl's Ube French Toast. The adobo breakfast burrito comes with shredded pork adobo, scrambled eggs, garlic rice, cotija cheese, avocado, sour cream, salsa verde, and cilantro. The burrito is one of their popular items and from my first bite to my last, I wholeheartedly concur. Everything about that burrito was fresh from the tortilla to all of its components. The taste of the vinegar that I'm accustomed to from classic adobo is evident, this entree is packed with deliciousness, it's creamy, and it was so satisfying. You can order a single pancake instead of the stack, so I'm glad I got to experience their banana pancake, which is generously topped with butter, comes with fresh bananas, it's served with a side of whipped cream, and topped with macadamia nuts. The taste of banana is readily apparent, it's a large pancake, and combined with the syrup, I savored every morsel. Mimick my order and I know you won't be disappointed. I really enjoyed the taste of the Kali latte, which comes with coconut cream, condensed milk, macadamia milk, and topped with toasted coconut. My wife couldn't finish her ube french toast, so I got to eat her leftover and this also is a popular item, which from that first bite, I can understand why. Despite me eating after some time from when my wife got it, the french toast was still crunchy, the caramelized bananas, ube whipped cream, toasted coconut flakes, coconut crema, and mixed berries were all divine and yummy. I'm not an ube fan, but I am a fan of Breezy's ube french toast. Thanks and Praise God for allowing my Life Pahtner to celebrate another year on this world. Dining at Breezy's made for a great time of amazing food, memorable drinks, and stellar customer service to celebrate the Queen we love.

They balanced the sweet and savory flavor so well, and the little side "salad" with the tomatoes and pickled onions offered a nice tangy kick. Don't get me started on the garlic rice! - Longanisa breakfast bowl - the longanisa was cooked well and had a good savory sweet flavor, but was a bit more on the fatty side. It had the same sides and garlic rice as the honey basil ribeye bowl, which I already raved about so nothing to add there. I'm so excited that they have a smaller spot at Rodeo 39 in Stanton called Lil Breezy! Much closer to home and definitely a place that we would like to try soon.

The location alone is worth the visit--the views of Dana Point Harbor are absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for the evening. The restaurant was set up beautifully, with soft music playing in the background that made for a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The meal was a fixed menu, and every course was delicious, especially after a long drive. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Mr. Zdrakas, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was especially kind to my son and even jokingly offered him a job after he pitched in to help. While we were there under difficult circumstances, Proud Mary's made the experience as warm and enjoyable as possible. If you're looking for a beautiful waterfront venue for a private event, I highly recommend Proud Mary's. We look forward to visiting again under happier circumstances.

Food was not good. We originally went there for brunch but they still serving at 12, so we were…read morestuck with the lunch menu. The clam chowder was horrible. Tasted like bad flour gravy with little to no potatoes or clams. Don't order this. My Cesar salad came with chicken, anchovies, croutons, and like 4 cherry tomatoes. The anchovies were whole and there were 3. I like that they asked if I wanted them (I did) but I wish they were chopped up instead of whole. The cheese on the salad was hard like it had been sitting out and the chicken seemed like it was some cheap breast defrosted. They could have grilled the chicken, had fresh black pepper to make it a lot better. The French fries on my son's plate were honestly sad looking. Cold and soggy. My husband ordered fish tacos and chili and admitted he's had better meals in his life. We drove pretty far to try this place and honestly wish we went next door for better food. Service was ok, our soups came out before we got our drinks, which I didn't like. The food is super overpriced for the quality. The best part was the view.... Hence the second star. I won't go back.
