Clams with the most amazing sauce
    Sydney W.

This is the most amazing restaurant in all of Augusta. More of a fine dining experience. We started off with the special Thai tea with coconut chunks and coconut water and the mocktail. Would get both again. For starters we got the clams and brussel sprouts which were so so goood. Our mains were the 6 hour braised short rib and the shrimp fat fried rice. We also got the sticky rice but forgot to get a picture! I'd get both of these again but there are so many other things on the menu we need to try! Dessert is a must here. The mango sticky rice and the coconut ice cream were incredible. Just look at the presentation! The thing that sets it apart is that it's set in a tart crust! Again, you need to try this place. This is the only place in Augusta I've ever said I'm coming back to again and again.

I ordered the Super Grain bowl w/shrimp and my aunt ordered the Stir Fried Noodle bowl w/shrimp and chicken. It was all so fresh and good! Big shrimp! I spent roughly $50 for two meals, oh and my aunt had two spring rolls and we had two soft drinks as well. I can't say this will be a go to often as $50 isn't cheap but it was so delicious! The place was slow for a Saturday afternoon, as I said but a lot of tables were full and it was relatively quiet. There is a patio available for seating and the immediate parking lot out front of stupidly tiny but there is other parking available and a short walk as it is in a plaza.

Got the grilled chicken & steak, which was solid. The grilled chicken had a great char flavor, while the steak tasted like something you'd eat at a hibachi restaurant. The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right. Took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out which was a fast then around. Plenty of room for dining & facilities were pretty clean. They also have other menu items like bubble teas and ramen. Definitely a diverse menu, will certainly be back.

The food still felt authentic and full of true Hawaiian flavor. Coming from a family with roots in the Big Island and Maui, I can appreciate when a place captures that genuine island-style taste and atmosphere. One thing that really stood out was how they start you off with fresh in-house made pork rinds, similar to how Mexican restaurants serve chips and salsa when you sit down. It was a unique and welcoming touch. We ordered the spicy poke, Spam musubis, and a mixed BBQ plate with two scoops of mac salad. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The mac salad especially had that classic island-style taste that's hard to find done right. The staff was friendly, the decor looked great, and the restaurant had a warm, inviting feel. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food.

Service was quick to seat and take orders. Love they give complimentary pork rinds to snack on. Friends order masubi - spam nori wrapped rice. Nice. 3 for $9.50? I see different prices online vs menu. The shrimp tempura was okay for fried shrimp. And friends garlic fried chicken was good. I had the double meat plate. And wanted small but they charged me regular charged for $30. 3 slices of short ribs extra $6 up charge for 3 pieces ?! and 1/4 lb of pork belly bites. Also orders kimchee of cucumbers and cabbage. Nice flavors and not overly spicy. I do think they forgot to give me my rice. For $30. Thought this was a bit high for what I got. Food is delicious. Service. Good. Just not sure of how the portions are created for platters. My fiends dish for one items were under $15. Oh well...shall keep an eye on portions and prices in future. Will still go back but así es toy what get for the price I am paying. A. Small order vs regular order.

It's in a quiet neighborhood bordering a pretty bougie living community so I shouldn't have been surprised at the blandness but I was. I got chicken fried rice I think and it was truly so bland and there were no offered flavor enhancers like soy sauce. It was ok but absolutely not worth the cost. The service was very friendly and the overall restaurant vibes were unoffensive to the point that they barely had any decorations up. Just a bland atmosphere overall. I wish I could've liked it but it was disappointing. I can make better Asian fusion in my home kitchen and save a lot of money next time.

The menu promises the ability to make most menu items vegetarian or vegan with tofu. I opted for a tofu kebab dish which isn't commonly offered. Grilling is a delicious way of preparing tofu, and theirs was marinated in something that was tasty and salty. Like most of their menu options, this came over garlic sautéed green beans, which is fine by me, with a small portion of rice (the option was given to just do green beans if you don't want the carbs). My appetizer was some cabbage-heavy spring rolls, which I'm fine with as it brings balance to the meal, which came with some very powerful sweet chili and mustard sauces. There aren't a ton of places to go in South Carolina for Chinese food, let alone vegetarian friendly. Even on a Monday, this place was doing solid takeout business with the occasional person eating in, and I would certainly recommend it over most plausible alternatives.
