Minas Grille only serve lunch from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It is served in buffet format and charged by weight. Half buffet in healthy food section like salads and other half hot dishes. Separate display units for flan and other desserts. Soft drinks, soda and fruits juices are available. However, no beer or wine are available! Today is Friday and its menu feature Feijoada (Brazilian Bean stew soup), Lasanha de frango (Chicken lasagna) and Baby back ribs. Sausage, Steak with onion and Grilled Chicken with onion and other dishes are available as well. Good variety and selections. We got in early at 11:30 but by 11:45 customers are starting coming in. A good crowd for lunch! We sampled Feijoada, Lasagna, baby back ribs and various salad items. Feijoada is a savory black bean stew with meats like pork, beef and sausage. Wife has her Feijoada over white rice but I preferred my over Farofa. This is a hearty and flavorful dish. The Chicken lasagna is fine and ribs is meaty and flavorful. The fresh pineapple from the salad bar is fresh and sweet! I tried a Brazilian Cherry Soda. Next time I'll try other drinks available. All salads are freshly prepared. To top off our lunch, we have one chocolate brigadeiro and a coconut one. Brigadeiro with condensed milk and tastes like chocolate fudge melting in your mouth. She loves the coconut and I love the chocolate one! The staff and owner are very friendly. I told them this is our first time and they took the time to explain the setup. This is a hidden gem in Fort Myers. Words like Moqueca de peixe (Fish stew) and Dobradinha (tripe) make my mouth watering! Definitely will be back for more!

We came here for an early dinner and we were glad we did! The ambiance is casual, colorful and very cute. This is not an up scale restaurant and more like Brazilian country style. The artifacts form Brazil are all over the place with painting on the wall. They look straight out Brazil. There is a little music stage corner near the entrance. Our original intension is sample their Sirlion Picanha and Moqueca Fish Stew with shrimp. Our waitress, Anna, answered our questions on menu with a wonderful smile. We quickly realized this is too much food and to switch to Skewer of Meats or Espeto de Churrasco with two appetizers, Coxinha and Cod Croquettes or Bolinhos de bacalhau We started off with a Caipiritas or a Caipirinha with a small Corona beer. It has a little tart, and refreshing taste with a little hint of sweetness. Next, we shared the Coxinha with chicken filling. This is a popular Brazilian street food snack. The Cod Croquettes is a traditional Portuguese dish with a mixture of potatoes, codfish, eggs, onion and a little nutmeg. They crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside! The Skewer came standing on a heavy wooden base. It has steak of sirloin Picanha, succulent smoked sausage and chicken wrapped in bacon. The meats were all delicious. We were so full that we skip dessert completely! No flan or passionfruit mousse tonight. The price is reasonable, a good place to try out Brazilian cuisine!

I'd give this establishment a 4.9/5. Is it in a less than optimal area? Yeah... but the food is solid! They do serve your favorite drinks, caipirinhas are always refreshing! and have a great menu. Good selection of apps... coding's, empanadas, sausage, chicken hearts, etc Picanha steaks? Yup... chicken? Yup, fish? Yup. And deserts! There is something for everybody, and it's all delicious! The staff is always great and friendly, willing to make suggestions and accommodate requests for the picky eaters (Yes!, looking at you, children of mine!) the ambiance is cute, its dressed up nicely and flows well. Great for dinner, lunch, family and friends or even larger group.

But it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice, salad bar was great, and the meat was all really good. I usually find the chicken and pork at the Brazilian steakhouses to be pretty dry, but this was not. Everything was very hot, juicy, and well-cooked. The gauchos and wait staff were super nice. The Picanha - star of the show, and cooked perfectly!!!! Will definitely be back.

When I got there, my party was already seated and I had to wait for them to bring another table over. By that time, the meat service had already started, so I missed some of the rotation. I checked out the food bar, the black beans looked good but had pork sausage in them, so I couldn't eat that. When the meats came around, most were medium rare or rare, which is too pink for me. I asked for a different temp and one of the guys kinda caught an attitude when I said the piece he gave me had too much fat. It got awkward real quick as he told me there is no fat on the meat. Also asked for A1 and it took a while. Overall, it wasn't terrible. I had a good time because I was with family, but food-wise it didn't wow me. If I'm doing Brazilian steakhouse, I'd rather drive to Texas de Brazil. If you're in Sarasota and don't feel like driving, Rodizio Grill is cool... just not my first pick.

I decided to give them a chance because on Google business it states they are open on Sundays. I get there and noticed a woman helping two people out by the front door. I get out of the car and as soon as the woman noticed me, she quickly pulls the door shut and locks it without even acknowledging that I was coming to patronize the establishment. Another car pulls up and is also interested in the restaurant and they also realize that they are close. The two people who were being helped by the woman decide to intervene and the man intervene and says to the other people ( we are not open on Sunday's") I also say to the man, it states on your website you are all are open. The man ignores me and continues to speak to the other woman. This whole interaction made me feel a bit uncomfortable and also made me feel discriminated against. I was actually looking forward to giving them a shot based on the Yelp reviews. I hope they learn better customer service skills and learn to respond to all patrons that may be interested in patronizing their business and learn to update their google business page. I definitely will not recommend and will never attempt to spend my money at this restaurant.
