I get a straight buzz cut every visit. In and out in less than 10 minutes every time. There may be a wait at times but it's a barber/beauty salon so there probably always will be. Sue is great. Really makes you feel welcome. Best hair place in Hayward! Sidenote: Yes, prices went up. But this is a small business that was hit hard by COVID-19. Found this little gem on Yelp, was able to get an appointment on a Sunday, holiday weekend, kind of hard to find but once inside Sue was amazing, very friendly and was honest about not doing certain things because I had back surgery a month ago. I was not pleased at all with my hair cut. I asked for one inch to be cut off of all layers, and lost about three inches of hair. One side of my hair was shorter than the other. Not worth the price of saving money... good thing my hair grows quickly and I found a better stylist who will actually listen to what I want. read more

I've been going to this shop for almost a year now. For my first time going to a salon (always had family in the business before), I was nervous about finding the right place. I have to say that I find the price and service is just right for me. It's like I'm still going to a relative to get my hair done. Stacey is the operator I ask for each time I go, she is very friendly and does good work. When you go, be sure you turn in the driveway just past Jack-n-the-box, this will take you to the parking lot in the back. I went past the place twice before I figured it out. It's amazing how many men go to this shop. While getting a perm a month ago, I must have watched at least a dozen guys come and go. Sue was doing most of the men and she was fast but doing good work. Anyway, if you want a friendly atmosphere, with good service, at a great price give them a try. However, if you want some glamorous place that serves you champagne, this isn't the right place for you. read more

Just an update, I still go here every year since I live so far away. They still rock and am going in soon to cut it short and go all blonde..
