I get a straight buzz cut every visit. In and out in less than 10 minutes every time. There may be a wait at times but it's a barber/beauty salon so there probably always will be. Sue is great. I was not pleased at all with my hair cut. I asked for one inch to be cut off of all layers, and lost about three inches of hair. One side of my hair was shorter than the other. I have to say that I find the price and service is just right for me. It's like I'm still going to a relative to get my hair done. Stacey is the operator I ask for each time I go, she is very friendly and does good work. When you go, be sure you turn in the driveway just past Jack-n-the-box, this will take you to the parking lot in the back. I went past the place twice before I figured it out. It's amazing how many men go to this shop. While getting a perm a month ago, I must have watched at least a dozen guys come and go. Sue was doing most of the men and she was fast but doing good work. Anyway, if you want a friendly atmosphere, with good service, at a great price give them a try. Just an update, I still go here every year since I live so far away. They still rock and am going in soon to cut it short and go all blonde.. I've been living in Hayward for about 4 years now and drive to Fremont for hair cut at one salon and dye for another. A few months ago I got tired of driving to Fremont and decided to give Sue's a try since it's around the corner from my home. Stacey did a blown dry the first time which I was happy with so I decided to give her another try about a month ago for a trim again I was happy with the results. Yesterday I was there for a haircut, grey touch up, high lights and blow dry. I am so happy with my look! This morning my boss said I looked younger (big plus). Stacey now has a new returning customer, she is friendly, listens to your needs and very efficient (I was done in less than 2 hrs) .
