I used to come here all the time with Tina bc she always used to do my feet and nails but I stopped coming for a while and decided to come again since I was next door doing laundry . Unfortunately when I arrived I found out that she only focuses on hair now so I decided to try another lady here to do my pedicure. Everything was going good until she started coughing on my feet with her face mask off! I told her that I didn't like how she was coughing on my feet and to please cover herself with the face mask which she did and then sprayed alcohol on my feet so I didn't make it a fuzz anymore. She was doing good with my pedi nothing to complain about regarding the services (I even tipped her) but then she started coughing again and this time she walked away to finish coughing and she was touching her face as she walked away but I noticed when she returned she didn't change her gloves! I didn't say anything bc I thought well she's almost done and also bc she had previously sprayed alcohol on my feet but now I regret not speaking up about it bc she got me sick! 3 days later I wake up feeling like I caught a cold & I also noticed that the gel nail polish has chipped on one side of my toes! I'm very disappointed and will definitely not be returning. Please use this as constructive criticism and be more mindful of your customers health when your employees are sick to take healthy measures or to stay home bc it's so easy to spread germs. read more

I went with my daughter to cut her hair. I asked the lady to cut it to below her shoulders and evidently she began to cut and cut much more than what was asked. When she was done her hair was all uneven and the salon owner had to tried to cut straight. Don't cut it with her unless you want to end up with super short, uneven cut hair. This place took me in quick, which I appreciated that's the reason for the 2 stars but the quality is garbage! They were rushed.. the water for my pedicure was COLD, I asked for them to warm it up and she looked so bother and started speaking her language (obviously to talk shit about me) my colors don't match, the owner did my mani and cut me. Finally I got my dream haircut! I don't really have a hairstyle so I just go to one of the cheap places and get trims. But recently I've been wanting to try the A-line haircut. The cheap places keep giving me normal trims anyway! Thank you Yelp for leading me to Salon V and Tina!! I walked in Friday at 6:15pm. Was greeted immediately and told I'm next. I waited maybe 5 minutes. My hair is naturally curly but Tina didn't let that bother her. She is a haircut master, moving quick and efficiently, she knew exactly what to do. I stopped by at Salon V a week ago because I was in the area for work and needed a clean fade before going out. I was nowhere near home and needed to look sharp before going out that night. I usually don't make any risky attempts at places I am not familiar with. I saw a poster of modern fades on the wall and felt a little better. I spoke with the stylist Fong and told her what I was looking for and she said she can handle it. She said don't worry and I took a leap of trust. Fingers crossed and heart racing. Dude, the fade she gave me was comparable to the $30 places (no names out of respect). She cleaned me right up and also made me feel comfortable. I will definitely return when I am in the area and possibly make a trip out there to support small businesses, mom and pop business. Also, they have a logo that says a cut above the best. I'm sold so far and my opinion is on the fade I received. I can't speak on other services offered, however, there was a young professional lady walking out with her hair done and kept thanking Fong for the great job and booked her next appointment while I was waiting. I use to love the old shop Julie; but they moved away and it's way out of my way so I have to give Salon V a shot. It's pretty good. It's located right next to GO so I can kill 2 birds with one Stone. There is always a ton of parking in the lot; the place is clean with hair on the ground. I am like worst person about my hair; I really don't care at all. I would just wear a hat or a beanie. Keeps my head warm or cool and keeps the water out of my face during a workout? This is a walk in type of place there is sometime a wait so it's either shop at Grocery outlet then get a hair cut or vice versa. Wait time is 5 to 20 minutes most of the time; you are lucky to get a no wait. Tends to have 2 people or more working. Tina is the younger girl and I tend to get the older lady I don't know her name because I just go in and get a cut and leave. I just tell her to make me handsome and some how she always does. They do a good job with a cut and line up. It's only 10 bucks for a haircut and the cheap person in my loves that. I'm not ungrateful as I tip $5 bucks normally and $3 if i don't like the cut. They do take a long time as I like to get cut each 3 or 4 months as I'm super lazy. The only thing I'm not super crazy about is they just brush or wipe off tools a lot and reuse them. Not a big deal but if you are clean freak this might mess with you. They do this for men's haircuts I don't think they do this for women. They are nice enough to hit my bushy eye brows and so far have yet to just cut one off. They just trim them with my haircut. Handsome levels are raising. I give them 4 star's are they are great but not perfect. They do good work here and are priced cheap. This has become one of my many places to get a hair cut and I will keep returning. read more
