You won't see it from the street, you'll have to find the studio within the larger building (all beauty salons!). Jessica was able to take me on short notice but squeezed me in and was so sweet, gentle and friendly. I'd never done sugaring before but I can confirm it is less traumatic than waxing! I came here for a Brazilian sugar wax and had the MOST amazing experience ever! This was my second time getting a sugar Brazilian wax and my first time at her location. She was very efficient and throughly made sure she got all the hair, even when it came to plucking. She's very clean and is fast with her work. My first experience with Brazilian and sugaring wasn't that great because the lady not only didn't go under my labia flaps but also didn't manage to get from my roots when I had grown my hair for a good month (meaning she didn't think about trimming). So coming to her business she made sure to wax in places I didn't even tell her I needed her to get into and trimmed me when she knew it would help the wax grab the roots. After the sugaring was done, she immediately took her time ensuring she got all the short hairs when plucking. Literally so smooth, will be coming back here again :) read more

She makes it a point to talk to you throughout the duration of your appointment to make sure you stay calm & relaxed. Waxing can be painful but she does a great job of taking your mind off of the pain -- if it does begin to hurt however, she uses an oil that helps with inflammation. I moved to SF but I still make trips to the South Bay to see Jessica, she's that good. - Jessica has all the tricks to reduce the pain of having your hair ripped out, including that she's lighting fast! - Once I was running super late and texted her, and she moved her lunch around to take me anyway. - The first time I went to her, I let her know it was my first time being sugared, and she was so understanding and helpful. - I've never tried waxing but sugar is supposed to be less painful, rip hairs more effectively due to the direction they are pulled, and clog your pores less.
