Came here for my girlfriends 21st birthday and we waited 40 minutes for a specialty cocktail. The manager was sitting behind the bar texting when he should have made the drink considering they dint have a bartender on. The food was decent at best. The mini sliders were not good but they did look cute. Artichoke dip was runny and oily. I told my server I wanted the drink taken off the bill because we waited so long. He took of 20% This was suppose to be a good birthday lunch but Sugar Factory failed and made it a disaster. I will not be coming back. Eureka!!! Finally a Sugar Factory that we got serviced and enjoyed the food. The one in DC is a must avoid while this one is a must attend. We had a great server, social distancing was in place and all waiters wore the masks properly, not half hanging off the face. I had been wanting to try Sugar Factory for a while and decided to drop in while visiting Minneapolis and perusing the mall. We ordered the rainbow sliders, loaded fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and kid's happy box. The sliders were ok, pretty to look at. We asked to have one modified and were told modifications had to apply to all of the sliders. The loaded fries, as you can see in the picture l, are not really loaded. They were really skimpy with the toppings. The sweet potato fries were good, crispy, and hot. The Happy Box says it is "served in a whimsical box with a sweet surprise". It was a plain white box and there was no surprise. I was so disappointed at this point that I didn't bother to ask for it. The cheeseburger in the box was flat. My daughter did like the fairy dusted fries. The shake was the biggest disappointment. The cake was inedible. It tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge open and collected all the scent of the other food and dried out. When I told the waitress, all she said was that she did not eat sweets and did not know how it should taste. The shake was actually milk. My daughter only ate a little of the whipped cream. The total was $70.70 and not worth it. The bartender was noce and let me try a drink she was testing which was the best item of the visit. Will definitely not visit another Sugar Factory. read more

Low quality service doesn't align with the celebrity pictures and video streaming all around the restaurant. In the past we've enjoyed watching the staff turn down the lights and come out clapping with sparklers, music, and giant ice cream sundaes to celebrate birthdays. We came to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. We didn't even get utensils or napkins, or any kind of place settings when we sat down. Server told us the place changed to a sugar factory express a year ago. The menu changed but the prices sure haven't gone down. We ordered the king Kong Sundae, and the price is still $49. The server had to ask my daughters name and our music request at least three times. This takes away from the big anticipation of the birthday show. The king kong ice cream sundae sat there melting because they didn't bring us any bowls, spoons, or napkins to even eat it with. Finally after 5 minutes the server brings us paper cup style bowls you get from ColdStone, cheap white disposable plastic spoons, and a set of hot plates. The sundae was missing key elements that were described on the menu. I had to ask the server to bring us the two unicorn pops that were described and pictured on the menu. The sundae was so melted, I can't tell if I really got all 12 scoops of ice cream as described. So much for the of the over the top celebrity birthday experience. The server agreed to knocked a percentage off our bill, but then brought me the bill for the full price! The food here has always been subpar, but we came for the experience. Absolutely disappointing and not worth the Sugar Factory Express price. read more

A huge sugar rush! The portions here are definitely way too big for any normal person to consume. Plenty of people abandon half drunken shakes and fish bowl alcoholic drinks. It's definitely a very cool venue, but it would probably be better served in a larger estate. The burgers we had were delicious but we recommend that you come only for the sweets and not the food. We wanted to order the monstrous shakes but knew it would just be too much with the food we had, so it was a sweet martini for us. The customer service was awesome and I appreciated that our waitress was able to give us time to process the menu since it was definitely an overload. My best advice is to come here for the dessert. Have lunch or dinner elsewhere, but don't load up too much prior. Based on pure observation, if you order a bowl drink, it's definitely a shared drink. So many people ordered it for just themselves and don't finish. If you have children, either have them split a shake or finish it for them. Celebrities eat here, and they made us feel like celebrities!! It was my first time going to this restaurant. I knew little about the brand, and what they served for food. The restaurant looks very cute and fun, with few great walls to use as backdrops for pictures. The environment was pleasent! The music was the bringing back all kinds of memories from early 2000's just everything I would listen to... Our server Jasmin K. Was AMAZING! She knews the menu and the brand extremely well! She suggested dishes off the menu that she liked, which we got and the food was really good! Great portions, hot and fresh. Jasmin really helped to make the experience great! She poured the drinks (which btw are on point) as slow as we needed to get the pictures, and just accommodated us with ALL we asked for! Thank you so much again Jasmin for the great experience. Top notch experience! A special thank you to Michael. We had a fantastic time! I came with my godmother and we had a fantastic lunch. The burger was ginormous and filling (she only finished half)- she called it "a cut above the rest", and I absolutely loved my salmon and asparagus. We orders our food, my son never got his food and then the waitress came back and advised she forgot to right it down, and had just put it in...the rest of the family had eaten and everything. After the waitress advised she went back to put the order in after we all had eaten, my son was still waiting another 15-20 minutes to the point where he wasn't hungry anymore. This was my first time going to Sugar Factory for a girls night and I won't ever go there again. Our food took almost an hour+ and our waitress, did not check up on us and realized that too (she was nice but her service was poor -- it was not a busy night). I also told multiple waiters that I wanted one of my food items TO-GO with no tomato's for my husband. He's allergic to tomatoes so I had asked them to not include them and they agreed. Mind you, I told them in the very beginning when I came and continuously reminded them but when I would ask them for an update (5 times, yes, I had asked them 5 times) the answer I got was, "Yeah I'll give you an update", yet I see all of them on their phones or in the back. We were there for quite some time because they took a long time in the back for some reason. I finally got my food (& without any updates from the waiters) and I was excited because I wanted to go home. When I got home, I gave my husband his food and when he opened & checked his burger, there was tomatoes All I could was laugh because I could not believe the service I had there. If telling them five times wasn't enough then I don't know what is. We visited this location for a late night dinner and drinks for my daughters bachelorette party weekend. We were created with pleasant staff and food and drinks were great! Our server Alyssa was amazing and so accommodating! We came from 5 1/2 hours away and we had a couple that were coming from farther away and came in later. Management was willing to keep kitchen open a little later so they could order. The manager presented my daughter with a "bride to be" tiara upon arrival and then finished with cold sparks and ice cream.
