Someone else recently posted a similar experience... just WOW. i made a reservation for Wednesday, May 13th for 10pm @ Miami Beach location (507 Espanola Way Miami Beach, FL 33139). I drove 1 hour, paid to park in a garage, walked in heels, and i get to the location at 9:55pm. The place is completely closed; yet everywhere online, including the official website for the location, says it closes at 11pm. I checked the Miami Beach locations instagram, and there is no where that says early closing. In fact, they were and are actively posting. This was more than stressful for me, as it did cost me time and money, and I was more than starving when I arrived. If I am able to make a reservation online, then I should be able to come and be safe from the place being closed. If you're closing early, you should at MINIMUM post it on your social media with a reason. After seeing so many check out Sugar Factory, this was definitely on my list of places to go in Miami. Was it the best food I had, no. But the portion sizes were quite big and definitely sharable. The restaurant is really cute and has a huge menu to choose from. Prices are quite expensive so keep that in mind. 6/10 recommend! read more

I AM OBSESSED WITH SUGAR FACTORY specifically this location!! It was probably one of the best lunches of my life. When we arrived , we noticed parking is limited so we did valet. We arrived around lunch time so it was pretty empty, which we loved. The menu was huge and so creative and fun! We got a cool pink drink, mozzarella bricks , colorful burger sliders, donuts, ice cream, and DRUMROLL... the 24K Golden Burger !!! everything was so good BUT the golden burger was by far my fav thing- they put on a whole show when brining it out and the actual burger was SOOOOO YUMMY! The food was fresh and the chef came out to talk to us and was so nice! Our experience was a 10/10 and they also have fun music playing and there were so many cute spots to take pics . The surrounding area is really cute! The actual restaurant is ok, but online photos are deceiving. The chairs are cloth and all stained and dirty looking. They have a large menu and cute Christmas theme drinks. I ordered an "All I want for Christmas" adult beverage. it tasted like watered down milk and Hershey's syrup. We went for both my kids Holiday/Birthday lunch. My daughter ordered french toast, my son a burger, my husband and I omelettes. The server came out and said they were out of french toast so my daughter ended up ordering nutella waffles. We were the only table in the restaurant. All our food came out at different times. My daughter (whose order went in last) was done eating before the 3 other meals came out. I was disappointed it was not the outing I expected. OVERPRICED. I took my niece there for her seventh birthday mainly for the drinks because I know the drinks are special and my niece would like it. The food is mediocre at best and the service was OK. I made a reservation online and some person called me to confirm my reservation and after they stated they are going to be really busy so they cannot accommodate if I'm 15 minutes late. I was like OK that's fine. I got there before 5 PM and we were the only person in the restaurant so that comment was really weird but overall I was with seven people five kids. We ordered four special drinks 116 piece wings 18 piece swing a cheesy burger and another burger and also the colorful burgers for appetizers and the check came out to 400+ dollars inside of the restaurant was nice but what was really nice was outside. There were aesthetic pleasing walls to take pictures and it was really cute. My niece enjoyed herself, but I would not go back by myself because it is overpriced. I really enjoyed my experience at this location, the food and drinks were really good. But, they need to be more clear in notifying people that this isn't a full Sugar Factory location. I would call it a pop up shop combined with another restaurant. When I arrived you couldn't even find the restaurant and we had to circle the block a few times because it's under another name. An employee finally helped us out and told us where to go. It also doesn't have the typical gift shop like other locations. People look forward to that experience and should be notified ahead of time. read more

Do not recommend. The only positive thing to say is the decor is fun and festive. But food and service are abysmal. Possibly the worst meal we have ever had and I've never said that in a review. I'm writing this as a courtesy to restaurant seekers, but hopefully the management will read it and overhaul their entire business plan because this place will absolutely fail in no time. They have moved locations three times and I can see why. We had several items from the menu including apps and entrees. All terrible. The sampler platters were frozen, fried junk. The nachos had ballpark cheese on them, sliders inedible, pizza terrible. Only one beer choice, Heineken. Pictures on Christmas menu had decorative items on the plates - not when we were served. Waitperson said they were completely out of them. Food was so bad even the kids couldn't eat it. Service was also terrible. They brought water then never came back. I finally went looking for a waitperson and the manager popped out and asked if I needed something. I told him the service was terrible and we would like to order. After I sat back down the manager started cussing at the waitperson where we could hear him. And for most of the time we were the only table in the restaurant. Let me start by saying I have been going to to sugar factory for a few years. Especially when they opened their location in Aventura Mall, which I believe was their last best location. My son has always been a big fan of it especially because of their rainbow sliders . Today is his birthday and decided to take him here which is one of his faves however, things took a turn . Our waiter was very kind so this no way shape or form reflects on his service to us, but there was almost nothing available that was offered from the menu. We settled for the pink sliders, because there were no rainbow. There was not enough ice for the goblin drinks, but also I learned the drinks are premade so I probably wouldn't have ordered anyways . Being that the food has never been the best or tastiest at least the aesthetics and and very few items on the menu made it a good visit . The location is small, no more candy store and the decor was very basic compared to what the sugar factory has presented in the past.. this was honestly not the best, far from it actually. Scam!! Made reservations for my daughter's birthday( we ate here before and loved it). Currently place is under renovations and while making our reservations they failed to mention that the current restaurant is in the first floor of a hotel lobby 2 blocks away at this moment. We had a Small table and the lobby was fairly empty. we ordered apps and 3 drinks and 2 sodas which all took long to get even thoe it was pretty empty. We didn't complain because I didn't want to ruin my daughter's birthday but should not be charging full price ($500.00) for hotel food in a hotel lobby! Complete fraud. Place is not what you think. Its not a real restaurant it's a pop up in the middle of a courtyard that you have to walk thru a closed restaurant to Get to. Definitely not represented correctly and not a place that anyone should go. read more
