Fantastic experience overall. Our bartender, David, was amazing. We asked him to prepare several "dealer's choice" cocktails, and every one was excellent. The distillery offers a wide variety of spirits along with a diverse and creative cocktail menu. There's also a delightful, dog-friendly outdoor patio. I'm already planning my return visit.

Not quite food but in the same ballpark. Sugar Works Distillery is making some fine adult refreshments all in one location here. Every step of the process is done here, that way they can make sure of the quality. We stopped by to get a small bottle of their Blueberry and Cherry Shine and sampled a Simply Blue and a Get Stoned which each used one of those shines in each drink. Very good and very smooth. We'll definitely be back in the future for some of their other products. They're wonderful folks to deal with and very helpful with questions and as you see we even got a bit of a tour!

Great distillery! Alex was great! Left with some Agave, Sugar Cane Vodka and Blueberry moonshine. Nice atmosphere. They make all their bitters and other stuff as well. If ever back in the area I will go again!

Bartender was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive! She crafted a beautiful cocktail for my partner & I. Couldn't ask for better with fresh juice, and shrubs.

This was a fun distillery tour. I really learned a lot about how rum, vodka, gin, Tequila and Whiskey are made. They had cool craft cocktails for sale, as well as reasonably priced flights. Had some seating for a group.

Holy crap! Best cocktails I've ever had! They make all of their tinctures, bitters, dried fruits and garnish in house! Kyle did a great job pouring and we ended up leaving with like 6 different bottles of liquor. If you like cocktails, you will love this place!

They just started being open on Sundays! Woot Woot~ Sundays are the day that John & I go out exploring and a day trip to New Smyrna Beach meant I was checking on distilleries, breweries, eateries and more. I've been slowly checking off distilleries from the Florida Distillery Trail (https://www.floridacraftspirits.org/florida-distillery-trail/) and this one was within reach. We arrived midday in the blazing heat and entered into a small, but wonderful tasting room. A few scattered tables and bar, plus a wall of merchandise and a small space for live entertainment made for a delightful first stop. Two young ladies manned the bar and made craft cocktails and poured us a flight of spirits. The printed menu didn't have everything listed, so be sure to check out the chalk board on the right side of the board. I failed to see it until after I picked my flight! We tried rums! Hmmm~ the rum is not all gone here! Gold Rum- little spicy, warm notes of vanilla and caramel Vanilla Rum- the vanilla bean notes are light, John and I agreed this one would be great for cocktails Toasted Coconut- more on the nose for flavor and a touch of natural sweetness Spiced Rum- lovely spices up front, anise in the middle (not overpowering- because I don't like anise), finished warm and smooth Extra tiny samples: Port Finished Rum- oh how do I love port finished spirits! Whiskey- even though it was a rye, it was very smooth & pear moonshine which I bought! Our bartender enjoyed her job, which made for a delightful tasting and great banter! Thank you for being open on a Sunday!!!

This was such a neat little place to stop in for a drink and some great live music. We were very excited to check out their moonshine and other spirits during our beach weekend. They were out of several things which we were kind of bummed about but the bartender was able to offer other recommendations which were all lovely. We ended up with The Duchess (which I think was my fave), Apricot Smash, Endless Summer and I think (?) the Cinnamon Sour. Everything was delicious! Service was a little slow, at times it seemed the bartenders were more focused on chatting with their regulars. The live music was lovely and it was a great way to end our evening. I definitely want to go back and try some of their other spirits!

We stopped in to this cool little distillery and craft cocktail lounge. It is clean and cozy. The bartender, Tyler had a great passion for his craft. The bar was full and lots of happy patrons. I look forward to their new gin. Enjoyed a classic vodka gimlet and a rye pye high ball. We will be back.

We love this place! We had a private "chemistry/mixology" class with Cassie. She gave us information on why she used different spirits and how to concoct! Each drink was very refreshing and we had the space to laugh and enjoy ourselves DEFINITELY recommend!

They had quite a lineup for tasting. And the samples are free! I enjoyed their orange blossom sweet tea vodka. The orange blossom makes it a little different than the usual sweet tea vodkas. On the menu, they have a John Daly cocktail. As a golfer and a fan of golf, I was destined to enjoy this cocktail. And their prices! Talk about a bargain! My drink was only $7.99. We had a few more samples and then I spied their seasonal frozen drink. It's a spiked "hot" cocoa! That frozen drink was so good. You could not detect the vodka in it but I'm sure it would kick in. I just had a sip of my husband's. So good. The store is super cute. They were busy decorating the place with Christmas stuff- even though Christmas is literally around the corner! Haha. A bit late but much appreciated. They have quite a bit of merchandise. Some is loggerhead and some is just cute gift type- for example- their tea towels are funny! I grabbed two for Christmas gifts. They have shirts, coffee mugs and tons of bar glassware. You can even buy bottles of their spirits. The place is a bit small. There's a Large table that seats about ten people and then standing room. You can see right into their distillery from the windows. Their spirits are offered at a few local restaurants, including The district, which is next door. Parking is along the street. The little lot across from them is gone- it's undergoing construction to be some retail building. Definitely stop by when you're in the area. Have a free taste, get a cocktail and pick up some gifts. I've been trying to stop into this distillery for years, but my timing was always off. Either they were closed that day i was there or not opening before I left. But today, the starts aligned. I was all interested in the bourbon! And they delivered! Every batch is a one and done, with every new batch trying to be better and more refined than the last. Reminds me of myself, I'm always moving forward & trying to do better! Loved the bourbon. The Winter Park Arts Festival blend was phenomenal! Then... I tried the Gincident and that was an easy yes, let's take that bottle home. Meanwhile, Chase was bragging about their Best Espresso Martini.... hmmm, prove it. Made with bourbon, omg yes please. It was a speakeasy-esque vibe and I loved it. We ordered an old-fashioned and espresso martini which were quickly brought to our table. They indicated that the espresso martini was the best one in town, so naturally I had to try it. I would definitely say it takes top five. We sat outside and had a great evening at this place. Love visiting this location!…read more I've always made sure to make a stop here when I'm visiting St. Augustine. This last visit was no different! Inside is spacious, clean and what's really interesting is that they have informative areas that showcase the distillation process and other fun facts about the distillery! I enjoy coming for their tasting that they offer. While it use to be free of charge local businesses in the area that also had tastings started charging so that makes sense especially with the amount of visitors they get! Luckily it's only $5 dollars and you get a chance to enjoy a variety of their products. There are employees are different stations that give you information on the spirits and mixers they offer while they craft drinks for you to try. Such as a mule with their vodka, a sweet tasting drink with their crafted rum, another with gin and the final stopping point is an old fashioned! If you end up loving any of the drinks, you're able to purchase a bottle there in their gift shop. They also offer to hold any of your purchases for a later pickup time if you don't want to be holding onto your purchase if you're busy visiting and exploring the city. They also provide different paid experiences involving their whiskey. I have yet to try them out but maybe one day I'll make sure to!

We stopped in unexpectedly, signed in without any trouble, and were done in under a half hour. It helped that it wasn't crowded at all and our group of 5 were the only ones on the tasting tour at the time. You get to taste 4 different cocktails made with their various products. The first two were decent, with the second being a step up from the first. The third was our favorite by far, a tiki rum cocktail that actually had a really nice flavor to it. The fourth and final one was a straight vodka pour from an older woman at the last station. She told us that good vodka shouldn't taste like nail polish, which is a bold thing to say right before handing someone a sample that tasted pretty much exactly like acetone. A couple of us couldn't even finish it. The staff overall were super friendly though, and it was genuinely cool getting to go behind the scenes and see all the big machinery in the distillery. Now the gift shop at the end is a different story. Everything was overpriced, and their clearance section was almost insulting, with maybe $2 knocked off the regular prices. We won't be buying any of their products, but for $5 the tasting itself was a fun little experience worth checking out if you're in the area.

In all of them, you can tell that he uses real ingredients and a lot of care to make sure it tastes the best that it can. The distillery is in a warehouse, so it's a little hard to find. But if you call him, he is very thorough with his directions and will wait a little to make sure everyone gets to participate. Parking wasn't an issue when we went because there are spots right in front of the warehouse. It was a little warm (it is Florida after all) and it's not an enclosed/air-conditioned structure so dress accordingly! But he has fans and stuff to help with that and the tasting room does have AC.
