This is by far the best place to get sugared and a tan! I was actually really nervous to get sugared because of a past bad experience with waxing. The lady that applied the sugar explained everything and helped distract me from any discomfort. It was a really easy process and I'll definitelt go back. Afterwards I got a spray tan and again it was so great. I'm in town for work and needed a spray tan ASAP. Love that they are open til 11PM. All of the girls were super helpful and sweet. Leila (sp*) was my tanner and she was knowledgeable and very detail oriented. I loved the card given to me with my post tan instructions that also noted the time my tan was complete. I had a Brazilian....and let me tell you...if you are looking for a less painful alternative to waxing - this is not it. This still hurts soooo much. This message is for management for this location of Sugared + Bronzed. I made an appointment for Wednesday May 22nd at 12:20pm. I didn't want to miss my appointment, so I parked right outside in one of the 10 minute parking spots. I ran up and asked the 2 girls working at the front desk what I should do about my car. They immediately asked me to check into the iPad, even though I told them I was in 10 minute parking, and I needed to know if I should go find parking instead. As soon as I finished filling out all info I needed on the iPad, the girls started telling me about the different spray tans I should get. I once again, asked them what I should do about my car, and if they were the ones that calls the towing company. They said, no it's valet that calls the tow company. And again, asked me which spray tan I should get. I let them know I was getting married this Saturday and I will need my car and it cannot get towed. And they said "well it's up to you". I was perplexed, so I asked again "Are you telling me, it's either get a spray tan or get my car towed???" And they said "well it's up to you". Immediately I knew I shouldn't be getting my spray tan here, and I rather have uneven tan lines then get my tan here. I said no thanks and left. I tried calling back to see how many minutes I have to find a parking spot before they would tell me I was too late. So I called, and they answered the phone, but just left the receiver on the desk while they continued to have a conversation amongst themselves. I sat on the phone for a minute saying "hello? Hello? Hello?" And then I hung up. I tried calling again, and they never answered the phone again. I started crying, well, I guess every bride needs their first wedding week cry, and that was mine. Thanks for nothing to the 2 women who were managing the front desk at Sugar + Bronzed Wednesday May 22nd. 1 or 2 days later, I got a text message asking for feedback with my experience at Sugar + Bronzed, I replied, "It was terrible, thanks". Thinking I would get reached out to by management, when this didn't happen, I decided I will post it on their yelp page. Thanks again! For a whole lotta nothing! I ended up going somewhere that was a lot more sympathetic the next day in the Bay Area to get my spray tan. EDIT: On June 3rd 2019, a customer service rep from Sugared + Bronzed reached out to me. They apologized for my experience at their Studio City location. I will up my 1 star to 2 stars. They have convinced me to try their services again. I will update when I have actually received a service from them. read more

I had my first spray tan ever two weeks ago and came back for my first Brazilian sugaring yesterday. It's safe to say, I'm in love with this place & will definitely be coming back. I've been waxing for about 6 years and let me tell you, sugaring is absolutely the way to go! The process was so quick, painless and it grabbed absolutely every hair (Shout out to the amazing Esthetician who provided the service!) Plus, there's so much less waste with sugaring since they aren't having to use plastic-based waxes or disposable sticks. As for my spray tan, it looked amazing! The girl doing it was so helpful, knowledgeable and really made me feel at home. She walked me through every single step and how to take care of my tan to make it last. They also give you a card at the end of the service that has instructions on post/tan care. The tan was super natural and absolutely stunning. I went with the express tan and kept it on for 4 hours before showering but I would highly recommend any of their tans! Bottom line, this place is amazing. My go-to girl moved locations and I was bummed, but my first experience here was awesome AND less expensive than I was used to. The salon is clean and cute. Get there early. It is on a very busy street, had to find parking around the corner. I was a few minutes late but they were understanding and still able to take me in right away. Lauren and Hailey were friendly and professional.
