Today I experienced a very rude, painful, and uncomfortable brazilian sugaring. I have been going here for months and for the first time I was sugared in one big long strip that was painful and told aggressively to put my hips down. I asked if she could do it in smaller sections and she said that is how she was trained which is weird because no one has ever sugared me in that way. She seems unhappy and rude so I asked if she wanted to continue and she said this is my job. I asked for someone else and she said she was the only one, so I asked if we could stop and I ended up rescheduling for another day and location. Before leaving the staff did not seem interested or concerned in my experience. They also told me disclosing my brazilian sugaring staff members name was private information. The did not have a solution and said that location doesn't have a manager. There were four staff members in the front that did not know how to deal with the situation. I left upset and dissapointed with my customer service and a half done brazilian. read more

My 2nd time getting a Sugar Brazilian - both Technicians were professional, made me feel completely comfortable, & helped me laugh through the pain! I do wish that scheduling was easier - I had to wait months between my appts because I can never find availability online or using the App. I also couldn't make an appt in person 4 weeks away to stay consistent since it's what they recommend for the best results. I do not usually get spray tans so I was nervous about getting one basically for the first time in years (but am trying to switch over from the tanning beds), and I had literally the BEST experience the other night at Sugared & Bronzed. I actually took a chance and did the "FlexExpress tanning with a trainee" and she did an incredible job ! All the girls were so welcoming right when I walked in and the place is so cute and clean. My tanning girl immediately greeted me and talked me through the process and what shade would be best for me etc, then lead me back into the room. She made me feel so comfortable and I honestly thought she was the girl who had been doing this before, not the trainee. I would recommend this place to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat, my tan looks incredible and it went on so easy and smoothly! I was NEVER going to take off my clothes for a spray tan! I have been going to the "boxes" for my tanning for the last few years and my young adult daughter has been giving me a hard time about it the whole time. She finally convinced me to try Sugared + Bronzed, now that they have a 3rd St/Mid-City location that is so convenient to where I live. One spray and that was it ... I am a FAN. NEVER going anywhere else again! The salon sparkles, is just the kind of aesthetic to make me comfortable and happy! I was looking for a new sugar waxing location because my original location is too far and this is the only location I found that was open late. So that's one reason why I do love this location. Very clearly outlined instructions for pre and post care that make maintaining your tan super easy. Lasts longer than other spray tans I have tried. The rapid option gets you as dark as a regular spray tan in ONLY 4 hours. The rapid tan is great for last minute plans or avoiding the feeling of sleeping in a spray tan.
