Came in for an early dinner/late lunch. Had the Thai egg rolls which where ok but nothing special. Also had the General Tso's with fried rice. It had too much sauce for my liking and the rice was very mediocre. My wife had the chicken and broccoli and commented that hers too was drowning in sauce. I feel that it's a bit over-priced for the portion sizes. The greeter and our server were both very pleasant and the server was quick to check on us and refill drinks. Just ate here for the first time. I'm not the biggest fan of Thai food but I thought I'd give it a shot even with the mixed reviews. The food was pretty good but the owner of the restaurant was extremely rude. I ordered spring rolls which I thought were the Vietnamese variety (there was a sign advertising them in front). Also ordered Tom Yum Noodle soup which came with a salad. Salad was okay, unusual spicy sauce. When I got the spring rolls though, they were the fried variety. I explained that it is not what I wanted and both the waitress and hostess (probably owner) were arguing with me. I said: I didn't want these, either take them back or switch to the ones I ordered. They ended up bringing the spring rolls out when I was almost done w/ my meal. The waitress then said she would pay for half. I told the hostess neither me or the waitress should pay for them, but the STILL charged me for them. I couldn't believe the nerve. The only reason I gave them one star is that the food was okay. I will NEVER step foot in this place again however. Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen, even in Canton, OH and this is NOT about the $1.50 I was charged. My dining experience here today was a very pleasant one. The server was attentive and friendly. The appetizer of Peppered Tuna was delicious and arrived at our table very quickly. Our entrees were also served in a timely manner. I ordered the Thai Seafood Hot Pot and liked it very much. It is a noodle soup dish with seafood (shrimp, mussels, scallop, fish cake, and squid), udon noodles, vegetables and broth. For me, the success of a noodle soup dish lies in the broth and this dish had very tasty broth. I think the dish would have been more successful if they served it with a thinner noodle than the udon but that could be a personal preference. My partner had the drunken noodles and she said it was also very good. The portions they served in both items we ordered were pretty large, enough to take a home a small doggie bag for a snack later. Although I have not eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants, I would say that this place is just average for a Thai restaurant. The food was pretty good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server just seemed to be very inattentive to everything. We sat down and waited a couple of minutes before she came over. Then she brought our drinks but didn't ask for our order. It was several minutes later when she finally returned to get our order. For an appetizer, we got the Thai Snack Platter. My wife and I both really liked the Tornado Roll. The other 3 options were also good but not amazing. For entrees, my wife got Pad Thai and I ordered the Drunken Noodles. My wife's Pad Thai was good, but it definitely was not the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The Drunken Noodles were very spicy as the menu stated. I probably will order something else the next time I go but they were quite good. Overall, it was good and I will probably go back just because we have limited Thai options in Canton. A friend and I stopped here for dinner on a weekday and was not pleased with either the service or the food. The server wanted to take our order immediately after giving us the menu, we told her we needed a few more minutes, then we had to wave her down for her to come to our table to take our orders. My friend got the chicken pad thai and I got the drunken noodles. The chicken pad thai looked great, with rice noodles and my friend said was pretty tasty. My drunken noodles were made with the same kind of thin noodles and from my past experiences drunken noodles were made with broad rice noodles. However, this could be a preference issue. I did see basil leaves in the drunken noodles but I could not taste the basil flavor at all. The sushi chef was extremely friendly and offered me a complimentary lightly seared spicy salmon sushi starter which was quite honestly one of the best things I've had at any sushi restaurant I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! I got the pho and the steamed dumplings they were both absolutely horrible! I couldn't even finish them. I will never order from this facility again! Your establishment should be ashamed for serving such horrible food. I never had PHO that I didn't like until now. Do not order the PHO or the dumplings!! They were both disgusting!! Our favorite Asian place in Canton. Salads with spicy dressing made from Lemongrass, fish sauce and red pepper flakes is oh, so good. Entrees come with salad. Coconut soup with seafood is light yet tasty with a little squid, a shrimp, and some bamboo. Pad Thai is not too greasy and very good. Basil chicken is what my other half always gets. He never strays. Can you say boring? Pot of Gold is another one of my favorites with a heavier sauce dark sauce over all kinds of seafood. I... LOVE Sukho Thai. This establishment is clean and quaint. The servers are so nice without being overly intrusive, and my boyfriend and I have always gotten great booth seats! I have had both the sushi and entrees (I forgot the sushi but otherwise I get the fried noodles!) and they are DELICIOUS. I can never figure out which one I want so if I'm lucky I can convince my boyfriend to split an entree and a special roll with me :). We both have agreed that the portion sizes are more than enough! The flavours are nothing short of spectacular on everything I have tried so far. Being Pakistani, I covet flavours and spices. Sukho Thai really hits the spot. Really solid from start to finish. Our server was great and doubled checked all our orders. The friends I was with told me they don't serve things particularly spicy here, so I ordered Masuman curry extra spicy and it was pretty darn good. The flavor wasn't very sweet or peanuty which is something I look for in Thai, but it was great nonetheless. Our food came out fast and hot (ordering for 8) and the portion sizes were typically large and very fair for the price. She then came out started talking to another server both looked at me still nothing . About 5 min later another lady came out and asked if I've been helped I said no. I live in Chicago-but I was born and raised in Canton. Family trips home always are struggle for me to find good solid Asian food and Thai is my favorite. I found Sukho Thai while staying at a hotel near Belden Village. I have had a lot of Thai, from all over the world-Suhko Thai was pretty darn good for Thai food in a region that never really had a Thai food restaurant to speak off. To be clear-I picked up the order as I was staying in a hotel with our dog so couldn't dine in. I started with the crab rangoon which were delightful tiny pockets of crab and cream cheese tied up with chive. So much better than the full fat fried Chinese version. I also tried the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings-I guess their version of Shu Mai-I would say pass on that. For the main meal I had Drunken Noodles, which most places I frequent elsewhere call Pad Kee Mao. The spice was spot on, the noodles were the thin kind of rice noodle-not my favorite but okay. I like firm tofu, lightly fried and this was great. There was not enough veggies for my taste and the dish was kinda dry. But all in all, for Thai food in Canton, OH, I say Hurrah! Thai food in a big city with lots of competition? Stopped by yesterday to get lunch for four in between visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Belden Village Mall. Be aware that you have to drive around to the back of the building to find the entrance, it's next to an Asian buffet. Appreciate that they have a separate gluten free menu for my daughter's fiancé. Huge lunch menu with reasonable prices. I tried the Lunch Box A, everything was pretty good but not great. Wife's combination Pad Thai was very good. They may be trying to offer too many kinds of Asian food to specialize in any of them. Service was pretty good, Derrick could have volunteered a little more information without being asked. Salads and food delivered quickly, then had to wait an unreasonably long time for him to come back with my credit card. read more

Visiting Canton from Columbus where the Thai restaurants are plentiful and good, my expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. The chicken coconut soup (Tom Ka Gai) was some of the best I've had. The entrees, Chicken with peanut sauce and Grilled chicken cashew were excellent. Both of the servers we saw were very friendly and went about their work with efficiency and style. We had big hopes going into this restaraunt. Trying to find a delicious Thai meal. First we ordered two sushi rolls which were admittedly delicious. So we were hoping that our main courses of Pad Thai and Pad Se Ew would be just as tasty. Unfortunately both main courses were lacking in flavor. We also ordered a friend banana with honey for dessert and I wish it had come with coconut icecream. All in all the sushi was awesome but our main courses just weren't as flavorful as we like. However, the service was not good. Waitress was not attentive. Disappeared frequently. Also, not child friendly. We had to ask for child cups and then she completely left out our toddler and gave drinks to our 2 older children. We then asked her to get us a drink for him a second time, still didn't get it for him. Finally, the third time we asked she brought him his water...no kids menu and not a good selection for children. The food is tasty, but every experience I've had with Sukho Thai is different. It seems to always be changing. Lunch Carryout #1: Coworkers and I ordered lunch dishes. The menu said lunches come with a salad. We discovered there were no salad with our meals after picking them up. We called them and the woman working there tried to argue that you don't get salads with carryout. We argued back until she agreed we could get salads. After picking them up, we learned that the lemongrass dressing is disgusting (smells like pee!). The curry, however, was very tasty. Lunch Carryout #2: I ordered pad thai for lunch, and for some reason this noodle dish came with a side of rice. Why all the carbs? I did not have any issues getting my salad, but I was unhappy to learn that their only dressing choices were lemon grass and spicy lemon grass. Gross! I ditched the dressing for my own. Dinner: I ordered sushi (maki rolls) and it took over an hour to come out. I was warned of the wait time, so I did not particularly mind. My friend and I got Long Islands which were extremely sour. After placing our orders, the waitress asked us "regular, spicy, or ginger?" She didn't mention that she was asking us which dressing flavors we wanted; we did not even know that salad came with sushi! At least they finally got some ginger dressing, which was decent, but way better than the pee-lemongrass stuff. read more

Sukho Thai gets 5 stars just because of it's consistency and pricing. Their decor and furniture could use an upgrade but the servers are reliable and attentive and their sushi is terrific. I think people could probably argue that the sushi at Jasmine is slightly better but combo prices for basic rolls at Sukho Thai can't be beat. Also, their Thai and Asian food entrees have been very high quality each time I've been there (which has been over a dozen times). This place is the hidden gem of Belden if you ask me. read more

Been coming to Sukho Thai since they opened a few years ago. Maybe not the best Thai place around but for Canton it's pretty good. The soups and curries are good. As is the spicy salad dressing. A bit odd that there are Japanese sushi items on the menu, but it works. The lobster and seafood are succulent. Have never ordered anything here that I didn't like. Decor a bit kitschy but has an Asian flair. The place never seems to be really packed but this is probably due to the fact that they are a little bit off the radar in the Belden area (near the glass office tower) and next door to a Chinese buffet. If you're craving Asian and want something different from the standard local Americanized Chinese fare, come to Sukho Thai for a nice meal. read more

This little restaurant tucked in the back of a strip mall was quite a pleasant surprise. My husband, daughter and I have eaten in many Thai restaurants from Thailand to here in Northern Ohio. Around Ohio the quality varies from dismal to enjoyable. My husband and I both ordered Singapore noodles and though a bit gummy the flavor was quite good. The vegetables were fresh and the sauce was very good. I had tempura vegetables as a side dish and found them perfect. Lightly battered with a good dipping sauce. When you in an area surrounded by chain restaurants this little place was a delight. Nicely furnished with a quiet atmosphere. We will return. read more
