I had high expectations after reading the reviews, but my experience was just ok. I definitely think the $170 price with Kritti is too much for what you get. She also charges you tax so it was more like $180 and then with tip, it came out to just under $215. I feel if you're paying over $200 for an hour massage, it should be exceptional. Unfortunately, it was not. To start off, Kritti setup is not great. The massage clothes were a little restrictive and uncomfortable. The room was pretty cold and no blanket or sheet were given. She used lotion (and very little of it), not oil, and so it sometimes felt too rough on my skin. The floor mat was ok but the pillow (under my chest) and the headrest weren't of complimentary heights, so that was also uncomfortable. As far as technique, Kritti is good with the traditional stretches and she did some detailed work on my shoulders. However, she didn't go very deep to really work out my knots. Also, her manner is very clinical and somewhat cold, and so it didn't leave me with that warm glow afterwards of feeling truly relaxed and cared for, which is usually what I get with Thai massages. I've received regular Thai massages for a while now, mainly in the SF Bay Area and they are usually transformative experiences. I was very disappointed that this one was subpar, especially considering the high cost. read more

Unfortunately, Kritti is not available today, so i was treated with her new Therapist, Leon, turned out he was as good as Kritti! I always have this problem with my lower back area and when I told Leon where the problem was he took care of me right away! The room has a very nice scent, the room temperature water and the cold towel was a nice touch as well. As well Sukho Thai healing is not your typical massage place, it is more of a professional, therapist setting which I am more comfortable. My husband booked me a 90 minute Thai massage with Kritti for my birthday. Hands down the best body work I've ever received! Kritti was so sweet from the moment I walked in. The place if very nice, simple, and clean. I felt very safe re: Covid risk and Kritti wore a mask for our entire session. Her pressure was great and she was able to intensify it upon my request. My body feels like my body again. My hands (bi lateral carpal tunnel) are loose and pain free, when usually they are tight and achy.
