Tasteless Chorizo con Huevo

This was my first time there I always pass it up on my way to work. I walked in and asked the man if his carne quisada was brown gravy or red gravy. He let me look at a sample and it was red gravy and I didn't like that so I told him I would order something else. I don't think that he liked that very much. His name was Pepe. So I guess he didn't like that I didn't want that so he left me standing there. I asked him for a menu. He didn't answer me one of the other ladies named Sarita She was a waitress. She handed me a menu and took my order because about the only person there who had customer service. Across from me was the owner. I'm assuming her name is Suki. I'm not too sure. And the reason I know that is because I asked the waitress Sarita who the owner was . I was also asking who that guy was who was very rude.. I ordered a chorizo egg taco, which was not the greatest!! And I ordered a large sweet tea. The chorizo and egg was more so greasy than tasty and it also lacked flavor. As I was walking out, I asked Sarita for her name and for his name and that's how I found out who the owner was sitting at the table. My leaving the restaurant she comes charging out with the spray bottle in her hand. She comes towards my vehicle and starts spraying my supposedly her parking lot with holy water. So I asked her why are you spraying my vehicle and she said no this this is holy water and I'm spraying my parking lot because God gave me a gift and I healed children for free whatever that means. I told her I am not able you don't gotta spray my vehicle and I asked her kindly to step away from my vehicle and not spray it with whatever it is that she had in that bottle. I don't have anything against Homie water and I love my God to the fullest, but I don't know what she was sprained my vehicle with. Their customer service was the worst other than Sarita. The cook in the back where you can see very clearly had a stank face like she hated her job. For Peppe to have the expression on his face and the attitude that he has he should be in the back somewhere, not dealing with the Public. This restaurant let me down. I had high hopes for it. And their food was not good. The customer service was the worst. And I definitely will not be returning.

Small little house with warm and delicious food and great staff. Quiet, as well. Love reading my paper there.

Best hole in the wall taco stand in San Antonio. The breakfast tacos with bacon, egg, cheese and papas were my favorite!

The cheese enchiladas are made with the gravy from the carne guisada, which means - it is pure heaven.

Like pulling up to your primo's…read morecarne asada, the loud one, the one where somehow the music is always right, the grill is always going, and for a few hours nothing else matters. That's exactly the energy at Los Weyes de la Asada. From the second you walk up, it feels alive. Not in a forced way, more like you've been there before, even if it's your first time. The kind of place where your stress, your diet, even your cruda takes a backseat. Now the food. No overthinking needed here. Everything coming out of that truck is a straight up pow pow of flavor. The carne is cooked just right, juicy with that perfect char, and the corn tortillas are legit, soft but with enough structure to hold everything together. I ordered the Mamón and the Chingón, and honestly, both lived up to the names. No misses. And the agua fresca de fresa? That sealed it. They serve it in a little bolsita, which somehow makes it hit even better. Simple, nostalgic, and just cool. It's all tucked inside El Camino, which adds to the whole vibe, string lights, people hanging out, that easygoing outdoor feel where you lose track of time a little.

The smell alone made me think we were in for something special. We grabbed a couple of cocktails and ordered tacos, which seemed like the obvious choice. The tacos were good, but that's about where I'd leave it. They weren't bad at all, but they also weren't particularly memorable. With the aroma coming from the grill and all the recommendations I'd heard, I was expecting a little more flavor and a bigger wow factor. The atmosphere was fun, the service was good, and the charcoal grill definitely adds to the experience. I just found the food itself to be more "solid" than "spectacular." I'd rate it about a 7 out of 10. Worth trying if you're already at El Camino, but not a place I'd go out of my way for.

As a fellow citizen of H-town, we have a vibrant taco scene and I would put this place up there with some of my favorite spots I frequented in HOU. Each time I've been here, I've ordered between 8-9 tacos as they are each $2.50. I've gotten a combination of pastor, barbacoa, lengua, bistec, and cabeza. I can't really select a favorite cause they're all so delicious with the meats tender and juicy with a heaping sprinkle of onions and cilantro. Make sure you squeeze the lime on it and mix it with the radish/cucumber garnish they'll throw in there. And don't forget to throw on that green/red salsa they provide. Either eat there or get it to go (which is what I did). Fortunately the tacos travel well as they were still hot when I posted up at my hotel to grub. Don't be discouraged of the long line if you see one as it moves quick. You walk up and place your order, then pay afterwards. It's somewhat of an honor system but there is security present when I went there so that eased my concerns. For drinks, it's either soft drinks, water, or mineral water. No alcohol is served here so if you want margaritas/micheladas/beer, you'll have to go elsewhere for that. No doubt I'm returning next time I'm in SA. Viva Taquitos West SIDE!

We were right on the river walk, but walked through the entire restaurant on our way to be seated and every bit of it is as lovely as where we ended up sitting. The Riverwalk, however, is a people watching place and so there really isn't any place in this particular restaurant which is not gonna be pleasant. Secondly, the service is exceptional. This is a very busy place. However, the waiter was simply incredible. Very attentive, very informative quite humorous. He was frankly part of the river walk entertainment. Extremely accommodating and instructive as well. You can't hope for much more from a server in Restaurant than this activity. The food is really quite good. How are the drinks. Extremely dependable and the portions are generous and equally wonderful. There are many places to dine in San Antonio. However, this is an experience not to be missed and I mean that quite sincerely. Kudos for a very, very well run well situated and well managed enjoyable place to dine on the river walk in San Antonio.

The atmosphere and lighting create a very intimate vibe, and the darker setting really helps it stand out from other restaurants in Laredo. Just a heads up -- they do have a dress code, which honestly adds to the overall experience. The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken mushroom plate, and all the flavors were bold and well balanced. For drinks, I highly recommend the Jardin Eden. The fusion of lavender, blueberry, fruity liqueurs, and aromatic herbs made it one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. My only complaint was the service. We had a party of 10+ people with only one server assigned to us. He was very kind and professional, but it was difficult to find him throughout the night, especially when we were trying to pay our checks. The restaurant also wasn't very busy at the time, so service felt slower than expected. Overall, this is still a great spot for a special night out, and I would definitely come back.
