I honestly can't decide what's better -- the sushi or the ramen. The spicy ramen surprised me in the best way. I was a little hesitant to try it, but the broth is incredibly flavorful, the heat warms you up without overpowering anything, and the rest of the ingredients balance it out beautifully. Service was quick, and the restaurant has a small, cozy feel. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a delicious, satisfying meal.

The service is incredible. The sushi chef was trained in Japan, this is a true Denver gem. Quiet & quaint, this place feels like you might as well be in Japan enjoying fresh sushi! The sushi is definitely their star, their ramen is still good but not as in depth flavors as I have had at other competitors nearby.

This place is so unassuming, tucked away behind a bookstore on 32nd, but the sushi is surprisingly good! We stopped on later in the evening one night, and the staff was super friendly despite the timing. And the food was also still good even though they were nearing closing hours. All in all it's solid, but it hasn't stuck around in my mind.

Came in here for the first time the other day because we were in the area. Not super crowded and very good prices. We got seated and served right away. Tried the sushi and the slightly spicy miso ramen (don't remember the exact name). Want to go again and try some of the rolls especially one of the mango and crab ones or one of the rice bowls.

The food is delicious and the fish is super fresh. They have daily flown in specials that I would 100% recommend. We got the plan hand rolls and they were perfect.

Yuki ramen has my favorite ramen in denver now. Highly recommend the Shirayuki ramen and the volcano roll + house plum wine. This spot was easy to get a table for 2 on a Saturday night at 6:30, and the service was fantastic. Out of the three ramen places I've tried in Denver (one in LoHi, one by Union Station), this has taken first place. Since I don't like soup, I asked my friend what she thought who has eaten with me at those two other places and also agreed. The numbers don't lie What's really setting the food apart for me is the mackerel sashimi I got off the Mouhitotema portion of the menu. Really rich and oily mackerel flavor without being "fishy". I've got to try more stuff here because something in my gut is keeping me from giving it 5 stars, but I'm excited to start recommending this place for ramen to friends

Visiting Denver for the first time and had dinner at Yuki shortly after arriving. We started with the yellowtail carpaccio - perfectly spicy, tangy and fresh. We also tried the bluefin tuna, salmon and eel hand rolls, simple but really yummy. I tried the spicy ramen, definitely a good heat, the noodles were bouncy and the broth of rich. Sashimi was absolutely delicious, specially the eel and sweet shrimp 8/10. Service was amazing, very attentive and everyone was so kind! I recommend you give it a try!

Been here a few times and this place is underrated with how super fresh everything tasted! It can get a little pricey but it's definitely worth every penny with the quality and presentation of it all. The service was also super attentive and knowledgeable. Great place!

I stopped into Yuki Ramen and Taki Sushi last night with some friends to grab some ramen. This was a new ramen menu from my last visit, so I opted for the spicy miso ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful and it had all of my favorite toppings. It could have been spicer. However, I love the noodles they use: not too thin and still have some chew. I'll ask for the broth super hot next time as well. As always, the service was excellent and I'll be back for more Japanese fare!

Cute little sushi and ramen place tucked behind a bookstore. Good portions of fresh fish, and a 3 hand rolls for $15 lunch special! The aburi salmon and yellowtail belly was very tasty.

I was lucky to find front row parking and the entire restaurant open for just my husband and I to enjoy lunch! He ordered the karaage and a selection of fresh and specialty fishes. I enjoyed the midoriyuki vegetarian miso ramen. The broth takes more than 12 hours to cook and is complex and flavorful. Definitively add the poached egg; it's divine.

The sashimi is delicious! The presentation is exquisite and well orchestrated. This, by far, is my favorite sashimi in Denver! The outdoor patio is very inviting and perfect for bringing my doodles. Check it out- you'll be glad you did!

The vibe is fast and loud, but the servers are super efficient and communicative. I really liked the tokidoki roll and hamachikama. Hard to go wrong with those! The hamachi kama was HUGE. They give you the entier collar! I also liked the yaki ika which was very tasty, not rubbery at all. They have a lot of ramen on the menu which was a crowd pleaser for our group. Their edamame is also very spicy and quite good -- not your typical simply salted edamame. One thing I wouldn't order - the kimchi fried rice. All tasted good, no complaints. Spicy tonkatsu ramen had rich broth, chatsu was grilled and plenty. Repeat

A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.

In general, it's been a laid back, go-to place to get a meal that will be much better than average for the price. I've been many times since before and after COVID, and it was one of my favorite repeatable spots in Denver. However, the crew totally dropped the ball with our visit today. My wife ordered a tonkatsu ramen and got a chicken tonkatsu set instead (chicken cutlet, not bowl of ramen). To not make it weird, we just let that one be for the greater good of the table because it was our anniversary, grandparents were visiting, and we are here often. Our hamachi kama (one of my favorite dishes in the entire city, normally something I'd highly recommend on this review) was never sent to the kitchen, leaving us waiting for over an hour with two young kids at the table who had finished 40 minutes before. I watched the staff's confusion from my seat, even after we had been told that it was on its way. It was never even started, and it was obvious. That stuff happens, but it's hard to hide what happened in an open kitchen where you can hear what people are saying. But then after they had the "oh crap" moment, it wasn't even expedited. It was gonna take so long that it wasn't worth getting, so two people had to leave our not-busy lunch without getting the main thing we brought them to Ototo for. We were asked to wait for the dish, waited 15 more minutes, and it was not even close to ready. And while I appreciated the apology, the manager initially just tried to "take the dish off the bill," a dish we never received. So he basically tried to do nothing because no restaurant would charge for something that never came out. After I pointed this out, they took off part of the check, but that attempt at nothing under the guise of a comp was crazy. I've easily spent thousands at Ototo over the years. I've sent tons of people to Kizaki, Temaki Den, and the others. This will probably be the last time I go to Ototo. If you read some of the recent bad reviews, something is not working here anymore. I hope the otherwise amazing service at the other Dens can find its way back to Ototo.
