We were looking for a Dinner stop after our monthly beer roadtrip in the area. After navigating the one way streets and more than one U turn and finding parking we made it in. Seriously old school neighborhood Bar vibe.....very dark inside. After our eyes adjusted we sat at the beautiful wooden bar. A ton of different beers on tap and your usual Irish pub suspects, but not the same atmosphere as a "craft beer bar". Decent offerings on their food menu, realitivly inexpensive and pretty tasty alright. I knew it was my kinda place when I saw folks at the bar drinking Miller Light and shots. Now that's America right there! The experienced, numerous bartenders were very attentive and quick with a refill of your beer. The only negative was if you eat at the bar their barstools are very low and the bar rails really wide making it impossible to eat even remotely close to your plate. Sounds like a weird observation I know but I'm a big dude it was kinda of a hassle. If you're just having a beer no problem, they also kinda have an idea about this situation because they give every person eating at the bar this wooden tray like platform to set your food on and to eat off of. Wish I could give zero stars. Service was alright, we sat at the bar so it's not hard to get their attention. I had never been and stopped in for a burger and a beer with my boyfriend. We ordered an appetizer and it was good. We ordered two burgers and added toppings (for an up charge) and a different side for one with an up charge. When our burgers came, we cut two different burgers in half to share. I ate almost my whole first half when I realized after only having one bite left that the ENTIRE bottom bun was GREEN MOLD. I flipped the other half over that was on my boyfriends plate and BOOM!!! SOLID MOLD!!! We left. Didn't even finish our drinks. This was AFTER they didn't bring the correct up charged side, forgot our sauce for one of the burgers (which was also an up charge). They did waive the whole bill. My husband and I went there for burgers (no bun) and the sautéed onions are cooked in beer batter. It is not mentioned on the menu, however did state it on the receipt. I was very sick after. As I'm still getting my bearings on a completely new to me 'hood I have been looking fora spot to get tasty sandwiches and brews, and as many know, the joints owned by the Tapped Group usually hit this on the nose perfectly. Sullivan's is no exception. Went in around 7 on a saturday, had a beer with my best friend and decided to grab a sandwich as well. The menu isn't as big as that at Doherty's and they focus more on a handful of awesome looking burgers, a few standard sandwiches and some treats you might not see around here like curry fries. I got the To Brie or Not to Brie, which was apples, onions and brie on wheatberry bread with a side of fries, but please note they do have the all important sweet potato tots at this location. The sandwich was plenty of food even though it seems to be a slightly amped up grilled cheese. I did love the fact that everyone here seemed to know each other, and that the entire crowd was singing along to songs that the bartenders were playing on the jukebox. read more

Very much a four to five star pub. I would say four and a half, really. There was a little bit of a wait on the night that we arrived, so we grabbed a drink at the bar. The draft selection is quite a bit smaller than doherty's but that is easy when doherty's has 800 beers on draft (ok, so I'm kind of exaggerating, but seriously they have a shit-ton of drafts). Now, being a huge fan of Doherty's I was pretty excited to try Sullivan's, as it is run by the same people. I must say I was sold after my first bite. Now, I'm getting a head of myself with that statement, but see the menu is full of delicious sounding burgers, sandwiches, and entrees. We perused it for a while and settled on the Reuben and the Hell burger (or something with hell in the name). Holy fricken hell this burger was the hottest burger I've ever had. I've tried a lot of sandwiches and burgers that have "Hell" in the name but I have a feeling most of these places got lost on the way to the underworld because they usually come up short in the hotness department. Even Doherty's own version of a hellfire type burger is only so-so hot with it's jalapenos and pepper jack. Not Sullivan's burger. They have a habenero rellish that will knock your socks off and have you drinking five glasses of water before you can finish it. On top of that they have house cured, jalapeno bacon. Yes, you heard right. Jalapeno-fricken-bacon. Oh, the Reuben was also very good. The place is pretty cool. It reminds me of a smaller version of Doherty's with less Irish stuff on the walls and no patio. It has a really diverse clientele which I like. Oh, and the owner is super friendly, which most of you probably already know if you frequent Doherty's. All in all, it is going to be a tough choice when I have to choose between eating at Doherty's or Sullivans. I guess it's going to be a toss up between the beer selection at Doherty's and the amazing hellfire burger at Sullivans to make the final decision. read more

Me & my fiancé decided to go here randomly one night. It turned out to be a great idea. For a Thursday the bar wasn't packed and we were able to sit where we wanted. I wanted a mojo to to drink but they didn't have fresh mint. The owner came out to help us and he was generous. He let me try some of their craft beer to see if I liked anything. I decided that I would rather have a margarita (the beer taste good, I'm just not a beer person). My margarita was very well prepared & he decided to give it to me for free. The food was delicious. My fiancé ordered the roast beef sandwich. It came with homemade chips. The sandwich also had a signature tomato spread on it. I ordered the Caesar salad with the steak tips. My steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely will be returning again! read more

I'll admit that despite my mediocre star rating here I'll certainly be going back to Sullivan's very soon. It's just that I've got a beer list going, and I need to see it through to the bitter, deliciously hoppy end. That said, I'll be eating before I go - their food is tough to get down. Everything I've tried has sounded great in theory, but disappoints on the plate. Especially the "award winning" pork sandwich...it was gross. The meat squished between the buns was mucky, dry and stringy. The fries are bad, too. They're the long shoestring kind that have a crumb coating (In other words, they're not real potatoes). How can a pub fail at fries? Sad times. It just seems like the chef(s) aren't really into freshness, and only just kind of care about quality. It is apparent many of the things that I've tried aren't made in-house. The texture and taste leads me to believe much of what I've eaten was frozen first. I can see how after a few beers the heavily loaded burgers would probably seem delicious; but that's as far as I'll go with a compliment to the food. I do want to note that the staff is fantastic. Upon entry, everyone is always acknowledged and welcomed. It's nice to see the camaraderie among the staff - they always seem to enjoy being at work - lots of laughs and smiles and such. They are patient, attentive, and make you feel like you've been a "regular" for years. I never really see messes on empty tables, the floors are clear, and even the bathrooms are decent. I find great comfort in a clean pub! It's a big part of why I keep going back. So, definitely go to Sullivan's...just don't go hungry. read more

I'm a big fan of going to Sullivans for a couple of beers and a drink or two while while watching the game. I've liked the place since the day they opened. Recently, for the first time, I went there for their brunch. Gonna have to update my review and give them that fifth star. Ever crave a 32 oz pitcher of mimosa for only $6? No? Well, now that you know that such a thing exists I bet you're craving it. Start your day off with one of those or one of Sullivan's bloody marys and you'll be on your way to a good day. Brunch is you're only chance to drink a 32 oz cocktail at 10am and not be called an alcoholic. I suggest you take it. And for only 6 bucks, it's a hell of a deal. The girlfriend went with the Irish breakfast. She said that the plate full of sausages, potatoes, and a grilled tomato is the closest thing in the States that she's had that compares to her vacation out in Ireland. The bangers were nothing like the breakfast sausages we eat here and they were delicious. I went with the mamacita which is jalapeno corn bread smothered in chili and topped with a couple of fried eggs. The sweetness of the cornbread, heat of the chili, and richness of the egg made for one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Sullivan's dinner and late night fare is very good. Their brunch was great. Whatever time you choose to go, I suggest that you do go, sooner rather than later. read more

By our visit, the restaurant had been opened for 4 weeks. Warm and attentive waiters took our orders and made sure through the meals that we had what we needed. The menu is indeed *killer*: 1- I had the *Braised Cheezus* with is a texas toast grilled cheese with brisket and choice of cheese (baby swiss for me). Ooey gooey portion of awesome 2- Husband had the *Three little piggies burger* a generous burger with pulled pork, bacon and cheese 3- Boss had the *To Brie or not to Brie* grilled cheese, Brie and apple, so decadent! The onion rings were huge sweet onions with a light nutmeg batter, loved 'em The buffalo fries were amazing, spicy and cut daily, stole the show on the burger's plate. Homemade buffalo sauce (mild or spicy) was simply amazing for a lill xtra $0,79 I believe we'll go back soon and often, great beer selection, not huge but well chosen. No desserts? Sadness but I don't think I could have stuffed anything else down. read more

I'm a pretty big fan of the Doherty's mini chain, and since this one is closer to our house in Attleboro, we end up here fairly frequently. It doesn't have as huge of a selection as Doherty's does, but not many places do! The selection is still pretty big, and you're guaranteed to find a beer you like. The food is pretty standard pub fare, with nothing that really sets it apart, but it's all tasty and does the trick when we want to stop in for a few beers and some good pub grub. The last time we stopped in for dinner, we had 3 servers constantly checking on us and keeping our pint glasses full! It's definitely nice to have a little Doherty's Junior right down the street, although nothing will ever fill my beer and buffalo wing needs quite like the original! :) read more

I stopped in here for breakfast last Sunday, and I have to admit, I had never been to a bar for breakfast before, so I was a little skeptical. We ordered a round of mimosas which came in awesome looking mini-pitchers. They were tasty but I was surprised that they were filled with ice. I had never had a mimosa with ice in it before and as I feared, it tasted very watered down by the end. For breakfast I ordered a lil donkey which was basically a southwestern breakfast wrap. I can't remember everything that was in it, but I know it had scrambled eggs, cheese, jalapenos, and it had a kick. It was also a huge wrap, and I struggled to finish just half of it. The second half made a perfect lunch later that day. The only other thing I need to mention is they did not have real maple syrup; they only had the fake stuff. This did not affect my experience at all, but I promised my friend that I would mention it. Overall, I'd love to come back the next time I'm in the area. A cozy little Irish pub located in Pawtucket. Delicious food - much the same as Doherty's, Shannon View, etc. Grabbed a couple seats at the bar where they place a big wooden "placemat" of sorts that goes level to the bar. Nice touch! Food was delicious as always. An order of the Irish Spring Rolls to start... love eggrolls? love reubens? Definitely for you! Cut in half and served with thousand island dressing - this is a meal in itself! Corned beef never tasted so good!! My burger was spot on, as usual with the restaurants and service was phenomenal. We LOVE this place, we happened to go their other bar for brunch a few months back - Shannon View Inn in Warwick (which we loooved too) and this place is just as good. They have the most interesting brunch food. I ordered the eggs Benedict that had amazing vegetarian sausage and grilled jalapenos, sadly I could only finish half of it (If I wasn't going on a bike ride after I would have gladly gouged myself) Service has been amazing at both places each time we've went, and the drinks are the size of your head (and actually have a good amount of booze in them, which is amazing for the price) I hope these guys continue kicking ass, because we'll keep going back. read more

Came here again for brunch today and had the tips and eggs. This came with steak tips, eggs any style, home fries, and toast. The steak tips had a hint of sweetness to them, but were really good. Everything else on my plate I could have done fine without. I also had one of their signature mimosas. That alone may be worth the trip because its huge and oddly, very refreshing. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Overall, it's an ok spot for weekend brunch. Just know that you will be coming for some great drinks and average food. read more

Overall, I was pretty satisfied and if I lived close down, I could see this place being my neighborhood bar. 3.5 Stars. Knocking off a 1/2 star for slipping quality of food the last few visits. Beers are still great, service is competent and friendly. French fries are still the same crappy frozen battered greasy things. BLT is something to avoid. Somehow it was a tangled ball of bacon twigs only in the middle of the sandwich, and it tasted like Aunt Jemima syrup. Yuck. This place is such a hidden gem. I found out about them through groupon, and I am so happy about that! Delicious bar food. I've only been twice, and both times I've had the burgers. They were on point both times. They have a great selection of toppings, cheeses, buns and sides too. I highly recommend the Brie cheese and the pretzel roll. YUM! The pretzel roll comes buttered... I moved to Pawtucket two years ago and luckily enough just a walk from this gem. I bring friends and colleagues here promising them a good time.. And SEVERELY surprisingly GOOD food. The fried chicken sandwich literally checks all the box's and their tenders were literally stolen from the Halls of Valhalla they are that good. They brine their chicken before frying it.. Which is an attention to detail beyond a pub. The Cuban sandwich is also very very good, the pulled pork is a smart substitute than pork loin and a unique twist. Even some of the stranger items... Cheese steak beef empanadas which are good(begrudgingly so) The taps change every so often and the people who work here are extremely welcoming. Friendly staff and customers. Never a bad vibe. There are about 3 parking spots so prepare to park on Armistice Blvd. My wife and I usually share the pretzel bites with cheese and then share the mac and cheese with pulled pork mixed in which is excellent. I usually order a flight as they change up the beers on tap regularly so it's fun to try 4 new beers for about $8. My wife orders the Sangria which is good but a bit sweet. read more

Great bar food! Huge portions and surprisingly diverse menu! This place is down the street from us and we occasionally grab take out. Highly recommend the burgers! Fish and chips are also amazing.
