    Bread Pudding

Was pretty excited to come and have the experience and eat, but I was underwhelmed. Came for my anniversary and it was just slow. We were seated immediately but our waitress took FOREVER to come to our table. Realized soon she hadn't came over to another table either until they said something to a passing waiter who jumped in immediately and took drink orders for both tables. After that our waitress appeared and she was friendly and kind. She took our orders and it was fine. Our steaks were really good however that asparagus risotto was not. We tried it and basically didn't touch it again. And it was kind of cold. We didn't complain I think we were just over it. We did order the bread pudding and it was very good. They put happy anniversary on it for us, very cute.

The two pieces of glass or plastic I found in my food. They were either in the steak or in the bleu cheese topping I had added to my steak

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner. Waited over 10 minutes until we were greeted by our waitress. Once we realized they were clearly understaffed and/or having kitchen issues, we gave them some grace (we are both service industry employees) Food came out at a decent time (we both got steaks) & they were pretty good, then had a server box up our leftovers. Fast forward to this evening. I heated up my steak in the oven and was enjoying my leftovers until I bit down on something very hard. I thought I chipped my tooth honestly. When I spit out what I thought was my tooth , I realized it was a piece of glass. Could be a very strong piece of plastic, but looks very much like glass. I was shocked. My boyfriend immediately called the restaurant and told them what happened. Whoever he spoke to on the phone sounded shocked & apologetic but we have yet to hear anything back from them as far as getting our money back. This is my first time leaving a bad review for a restaurant and I hate to do it because I know bad days happen but this was just insane to me. Thankfully I didn't swallow the pieces and dodged health issues. Please check your prep work and make sure this doesn't happen again!! Gave them 2 stars because our waitress was at least super nice. However we will not be returning

2nd Visit: I had the sea bass, the Wellington bites, and the lobster three cheese mac. The sea bass tasted a tad fishy and the bok choy was a bit raw. In order to bring out the full flavor of bok choy, it needs to be cooked thoroughly, but not overcooked. The lobster three cheese mac was decent. The female "bartender" was friendly and attentive. She brought me the bread while I was waiting for my food. I don't think she was a bartender, but she was behind the bar a lot.

Listen ! I have never been sooo compelled to give anyone a review up until today ! I decided to go & sit at the bar today to try out the happy hour here and the award winning carrot cake my friend told me about ,& Grayson was the star of the bar because everyone gravitated towards him his energy & the love he has clearly for his job . I sat there & watched him tell the story about the carrot cake to everyone asking about it including me lol over n over again like he could never get tired of telling that story . His energy was so great that the lady outside with her two kids her small daughter wanted to make sure she told him goodbye it was the sweetest thing . The lady that I didn't know sitting next to me was like if she comes back and Grayson is not there she is turning around and leaving lol I can't say that I blame her honestly . So now that I got that out of myself system I haven't been to Sullivans in years & they still never seem to disappoint an oldie but I see it's still a goodie . I ordered from the happy hour menu and the carrot cake did not disappoint. Needless to say I'll be back next Thursday because I have been influenced to come back next Thursday when they have a live band by Grayson he also influenced the young lady next to me to come back . See you guys next Thursday !

Date: November 13, 2025 Time: Around 6pm Staff; Friendly Ambiance: Very nice inside and a little upscale Food was very good. I really loved the sea scallops and the sweet potato casserole. The dynamite roll was good just really big and kinda spicy. Our waiter Michael (Mike) was so awesome. He answered our questions and made sure our experience was good. Overall, I had a great time and good food. Definitely would love to come back. It was my first time there. It wasn't as busy until later because it was on a Thursday. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Charlotte and had an outstanding experience. Sade, our waitress, provided excellent service, and Jason, the manager, was very personable and attentive. From the menu, we both ordered The Sure Thing--shrimp & lobster bisque, herb brick chicken, and New York style cheesecake--and everything was delicious, especially that chicken! They even gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert, which was a thoughtful surprise. I highly recommend Sullivan's Steakhouse for any dining occasion.

Came to Sullivans last night for my friends birthday dinner, reservation was at 9:45 we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. It took our waiter awhile to come around but we placed a few orders for apps and drinks. We ordered our main courses at 10:30 pm and orders were not received until after 11:45 pm now the restaurant was not that busy at this time. There was no apology or anything offered for the extreme delay. My steak was absolutely a bit dry but i was starving so overcame. Sullivans only allows for 4 cards at the maximum on the bill. So it took forever to get that worked out. Overall not the best experience for a steakhouse that I've been to a lot over the years.

Great meal. Wife had Chilean sea bass I had lobster thermador. Tasted great. Our waiter Issac was great.

Top tier service from the Hostess, to the bars, to the table. We went to celebrate something personal and everyone in the team made us all feel safe, secure, and loved. Shout out to Amber, our server, for making our table so empowered! For food, Sullivan always deliver. They also have their $49 3 course deal that make choices easier. Their steak is cooked perfectly and their cocktails are all on point

Why Sullivan's? Because sometimes you just want a steak that makes you stop mid-bite and say, "Wow." That was our experience. After a great day at the PGA Tournament at Quail Ridge, I wanted to celebrate Mother's Day and my wife--who also happens to be my best friend. We walked into Sullivan's a little early that Friday evening and were warmly greeted, then taken to a cozy spot I call the "high rise"--a few steps up with a great view of the main dining room and other plates coming out of the kitchen. Our server, William, was top-tier. He knew the menu backward and forward and had some great suggestions that hit the mark. We shared the BLT Salad made tableside (a fun touch), then went with the 12 oz Prime New York Strip and the Filet. Cooked to perfection. The sear, the flavor, the tenderness--just what you'd hope for in a top steakhouse. We paired that with brussels sprouts and creamed spinach--both solid, but the creamed spinach is always a must at Sullivan's. The GM, Jason, even came by to check on us. That kind of attention to detail makes a difference. I told him we'd be back--and I meant it.

    Grayson - great bartender!

No, More of an intimate style there was a child behind me but i wouldn't suggest it.

The food was amazing. We shared most of our plates and were pleasantly surprised that we could have shared our main entree. The atmosphere and music was on point. The lighting was just right and the decor was well thought out and falls in line with the idea of a speakeasy. I've already shared my experience with a few friends and recommended it for date nights. The good: Out waitress Molly was very nice, the bartender's choice was fun and the perfect drink for each of us. The espresso martini flight was great and my favorite was the creme brulee espresso martini. The drinks were honestly the highlight and why they get three stars over two. The ambiance was pretty and the whole set up of the restaurant was very cool. The food was good, but not amazing for the price point. The disappointing: The entire place was extremely understaffed for a Saturday evening, and nothing on Molly our waitress- she was doing the best she could. We waited 30 minutes to order, because there was only one waitress. We had no utensils or napkins and had to request them after some of our food already arrived. The pretzel sticks are said to come with a cheese fondue- it's just a cheese sauce. We were expecting fondue. The tuna tartare had big chunks of tuna that was fresh, but also warm, which is not ideal for ahi tuna. I only had one piece of the BBQ bourbon pork but my piece was dry- my roommate and husband said that was probably their favorite dish however. The duck confit was my favorite, the microgreens and sweet mango citrus reduction was a great pairing, but again nothing wowing for a $300+ bill. Ultimately, good, just too pricey for the experience itself.

My friends only were in line for 5 mins but unfortunately I was the late one and waited in line for 30 mins. Luckily the line does move fairly quickly. My friends and I got the koala lalala and were bummed that after paying so much, it was mostly soda water and barely any alcohol for almost $19. Not worth it imo. I did however love the music selection. It was very nostalgic. Despite the technically difficulties they were having, my friends and I had a great time dancing the night away to our favorite middle and high school jams. My only suggestion would be next time for the dj to put his device on do not disturb. Every time a notification came through, the music would lower and was very noticeable. My friends and I laughed it off thinking we were just hearing things at first only for it to continue followed by the speakers completely going out. Overall it was nice to dance and be around holiday cheer but I don't think it would be worth a repeat experience.

My friends and I got the Crab Brik, Wagyu Burger, Shakshuka, and Avocado Toast. The Crab Brik came in little triangular wontons that were fried to perfection. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread!
