I went last night for the Burgers & Bubbles promotion. We had reservations and were seated at the bar. Unfortunately, they were already out of the meal boxes and champagne, which was extremely disappointing considering the promotion had only started a week ago. Ambiance was formal and dimly lit for the evening. The bartender recommended a Belvedere martini, which I honestly did not enjoy--it was extremely sour and not something I would recommend. I ordered the burger sliders, and my friend ordered the chicken sliders. I enjoyed the burger slider; it was tasty and topped with cheese, grilled onions, sauce, and a pickle under the patty. However, I was not a fan of the fried chicken slider. Service was hit or miss. The bartender was friendly but clearly overwhelmed with drink orders, and our needs were occasionally neglected. The manager came over to the bar several times but never acknowledged us or offered assistance, which was disappointing. For my entrée, I ordered the glazed salmon. While it was cooked to my liking, the flavor was bland and unimpressive. My friend ordered the lobster ravioli and absolutely loved it. After waiting nearly 20 minutes to close my tab, I left feeling underwhelmed by the promotion, food, and service. I've had wonderful experiences here in the past, but my visit on 1/12 fell short. I'd still encourage others to give them a try and hope your experience is better than mine.

Met a friend here for dinner. Our Bartenders were new to Mortons but not new to making great drinks! Conversation was funny and we appreciated their insight. Food was tasty amd we will return!

I visited Morton's for the first time in many years on a cold weekday evening with a friend. We were there for "Bubbles and Bites" witch was a fun bar special that included sliders, truffle fries, and a glass of Champagne or a Martini. You couldn't beat the deal and it was evident that this was a popular choice. We sat at the bar and were served very promptly. The bartenders were both attentive and very friendly. The ambiance in the bar area is cozy a chic, perfect for girls night, a casual date, or a solo meal. Even when it was full, it never felt crowded. The food was delicious and I highly recommend a visit for happy hour.

The Morton experience was very classy. I attempted a birthday celebration on the second floor and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The decor along with the birthday decor was just enough. The food and cocktails were awesome! The lambchops, steak and sausage all melted in your mouth. I can taste them all as I write this review. Very well seasoned. I was also greatful to get my parking ticket validated at the end.

Food was AMAZING! My salmon was so good, fresh and cooked to perfection! Our server was very kind and accommodating! He gave us great drink recommendations! We all ordered a strawberry lemon drop and it was delicious! The ambiance was very romantic! Perfect for date night!

I want to start off by saying this was a to go order so I know that can affect food and isn't necessarily the restaurants fault if things aren't the same as they would have been if I dined in. I also want to say that 3 stars doesn't mean this was a bad experience, it just means it was okay. My boyfriend and I ordered some food to go and we kept it pretty simple. I ordered their burger and fries, along with the bacon wrapped scallops, cream corn and Szechuan green beans. Everything was just okay. The burger was huge and looked a little fake. It wasn't very flavorful at all, just kind of tasted like meat. Even with the lettuce and other toppings. I ate most of it but towards the end I just didn't want it anymore. The fries were fine, the corn was good. The green beans were nothing to write home about to be Szechuan. There was really no flavor to them. The scallops were cold and the box has loads of juice in it, so they were kind of swimming. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience just not great. Like I said maybe next time we dine in and order different things.

I actually loved everything here except the parking (haha) but I guess that's just downtown. The service was exceptional. The food was tasty. The restaurant decor and vibe was quiet and sophisticated. It was the perfect spot to go to for my mom's birthday! I had the lamb, my mom had some sort of steak dish and my dad had the salmon dish. We were all very happy with our meals. However, it's the service that's really memorable. Loved that several of the staff and managers checked on us frequently. Our water cup was barely empty. They gave my mom a complementary cake and sang a happy birthday song which was so sweet.

Service and ambiance were nice but our desserts were disappointing. I cannot recommend the chocolate lava cake. All lava, no cake.

We had Thanksgiving dinner and it was one of the best we've had. Every year we make a reservation at a restaurant because we are not big on turkey & etc. Our server was AMAZING.. her name escapes me! She was attentive, thoughtful, friendly, polite! Top notch service. The food was delicious..everything great! We also ordered dessert to go key-lime pie and hot chocolate lava cake with ice cream. We didn't get pictures of everything! It was all good!!!

    A terrible NY Strip

This place was nice and the staff were excellent but the food was trash. I went there with a friend right after work. Parking wasn't bad at that time (5pm) and the place had just opened so wasn't crowded. Ok, let's begin.. I ordered a medium NY strip and potatoes au gratin. I kid you not, the steak wasn't medium or even medium rare. it was a strong rare steak and the middle of the steak was cold. It was terrible but it was still better than my boy's food. They didn't even bring his out, LOL. He ordered a Salmon well done. Of course his salmon was super duper raw. Made me feel a little better about my steak. Last but not least, how can you mess up an au gratin - put mayonnaise in it :(. Yup! I kid you not. I really don't understand how a Morton's can be this bad. It was truly the worst meal I've ever had since that time in 98 when I had a hot dog from Roy Rodgers on the New Jersey turnpike. Will I go back? I am NEVER EVER EVER going back to Morton's.

Devante was my waiter for restaurant week. I always walk by when I take my cardio walks. I've never been inclined to go in as it seems like a regular steakhouse with no particular personality. I still feel that same way. When you walk in, it's pretty dark and the A/C isn't at a suitable temperature, at least for the day I dined. I dined alone, as I do frequently. My FAVORITE part was the lobster bisque. Oh. My. Gosh. So so good. Get this and dip your table French onion bread with this. I will be retuning for lunch very soon if that is available for the lunch hour. I got the filet mignon with green beans. The green beans seemed very under whelming. But the experience was just so grand for me. It's a prime location, I was seated in the second level, and the wine selection is VERY extensive. I wish I could provide some personal insight to the general manager here. This place can be doing much better against the competition down the street. But I essentially gave 4 stars because I would like to come back to see how the lunch hour is. Especially since it's being promoted on the outside corridor. Devante took very good care of me, my steak was cooked to perfection, and I love the old school jazz element. Although, I think there's some more that can be done to keep up with the modern expectation in the restaurant industry

We came in at a time when it wasn't really busy, but it took forever for our server to come around. Ordered two glasses of red and the cheese plate only to be told after we received the wine that there was no charcuterie -- at all. Not a "need to substitute" or "we're missing one of the items" just completely 86ed. Despite being prominently featured at the top of the menu! Since we already had our wine, we had to order something else. I went with the cheese sticks, and my mom ordered a hamburger based on what the table next to us had. When she got her burger though, despite us ordering the same as the table next to us, it was a completely different burger. She ate it anyway and my cheese sticks were okay for pub food. But overall, a really disappointing experience based on what we expected. And we had to hunt down the server to pay so we could get back to the conference on time.

Service was friendly, although I would say our server didn't know anything about the beers but in her defense, they had a large variety of beers on tap. They are quick to mention that the food comes out when it's ready, so the food we got for the six people in my party came out over a period of about 15 minutes. Since that was disclosed up front, I didn't think it's an issue but if you're someone who wants to wait until everyone is served before digging in, you may have to eat cold food. I had mac and cheese and it was pretty good. Overall, this is an acceptable place to eat.

Don't let that scare you off though -- this place is a well-oiled machine and everything felt organized and under control. Our server was fantastic: calm, attentive, and never pushy. I ordered the country fried steak with collards and mashed potatoes with gravy, and my husband got a burger. My meal was excellent, and it came with a perfectly flaky biscuit. The first time was in November 2025 and 2nd time March 2026 where the bartenders were professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made some of the best Bloody Marys we've had in Charlotte. The food was excellent, and we left both times excited to come back. Unfortunately, this Sunday's visit (around 2 p.m.) felt like a different restaurant. It was much busier, and service was noticeably lacking. We waited quite a while just to be acknowledged, our drinks weren't nearly the quality they had been before, and the Bloody Mary tasted like it came straight from a mix instead of being handcrafted like our previous visits. The food was also disappointing. It was much saltier than we remembered, and we never received the Caesar salad with steak we ordered. To the staff's credit, it wasn't on our bill, so we didn't mention it. Overall, no one was rude, but the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience that earned our previous five-star reviews just wasn't there this time. We started with a few apps - the chips and onion dip and the pigs in a blanket. The chips were well salted and the onion dip was DELISH!!! The pigs were wrapped in homemade party dough and came with a honey mustard crème fraiche. They were so good!! For entrees we tried the fried chicken, prime rib dip, and the meatloaf. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so good too. The only misstep on this dish was the biscuit. Way too dense and not very flavorful. The prime rib dip was tender and came on the most crispy bread. What a great combo! The only thing that wasn't great were the fries, just nothing too special. The meatloaf dish was flavorful and came with those yummy mashed potatoes so great pairing. We didn't have room for dresser on site but we did take the monkey bread to go and enjoyed it later. Good portion size and full of apple and caramel flavor. Did not regret taking that home!! Really looking forward to this spot opening closer to home. Highly recommended
