It's a nice lounge feeling with live music. As it suggests the singer had a lot of frank sinatra style music which was nice. It seemed like they were short staffed. As far as I could tell there was one waitress and maybe two bus ladies. Nonetheless our service was good. We ordered steak tartare and it was good but wasn't cut up as fine as I have ever had it and served with homemade potato chips was tasty just different. They were out of lobster so stopped the splurge ordered the gulf fish almondine and basically it was a piece of fried fish with almond sprinkles Did not Meet the photo expectation. It was very dry and the asparagus had very little seasoning. I gave mine to my husband. I would probably go again but order beef. read more

Enjoyed our experience here! We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and the ambiance even better! The singer was very entertaining and kept the crowd in great spirits! The only downfall was the kitchen being out of certain items. They were out of all of the bone in steaks. I knew my boyfriend wanted the cowboy ribeye and it was a let down to know he couldn't get the birthday steak he wanted. They were also out of the alcohol I requested. We only went for drinks, but Patricia was by far the best bartender I have ever had. She was personable, friendly, and provided conversation for us travelers and vacation folk. She made us feel comfortable and at ease, with no rush to be had. She made a fantastic chocolate martini + perfect old fashioneds. If I ever go back to Mississippi, I will be coming to this bar in hopes she is our bartender. It's pretty pricey for the area, but very moderately priced if you are from any major (or minor) city. read more

I arrived at Hotel Legends & was given 2 drink coins to use at the bar. I walked in & asked the bartender if they had redbull & he said no. I asked if they had lemonade & he said no. An older lady walked over & asked the bartender what the problem was. I replied that I was just simply figuring out what to order. She asked me where I got the drink I walked in with, which was an almost finished pink lemonade & I told her it was from my room. She never asked me what it was but replied that I was breaking the Mississippi liquor license rules, couldn't have the drink in there & had to leave immediately. I never got to use my drink coins & was told to leave a bar based on her assumptions. She was so rude & this was very embarrassing, I've never been in old to leave a bar. I left & I would not recommend going here. It was an awful start to my trip to Biloxi. read more

We stayed at the hotel and decided to stop by the restaurant/bar on Saturday night for dinner. It's quite small-med size. I love that there's a cohesive theme thru out the whole hotel "old Hollywood glam" vibes. Live music was a plus. The artist was spot on and I love how he interacted with the guests. I didn't know it was reservation only but luckily we were able to sit by the bar. Bartender lady was very nice and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious! We got the house steak with the small jumbo lump crab garnishes and the mussel appetizer, which was a beautiful assortment of tasty black mussels swimming in a pool of rich broth. I could eat 5 plates of these. The only problem was that the food was gone too quickly! Overall I'm gonna have to make a reservation so I can sit down and enjoy this place to the fullest. Normally we LOVE the Sapphire. We paid $500 to get a table for new years. We weren't allowed to order what we wanted from the regular menu and were going to be charged MORE for ordering from the bar menu. I'm kind of shocked. We got champagne and a charcuterie board. Let's face it that's a lunchable for adults. Spencer was great as always but we could get his entertainment for half the price any other night. And be able to eat what we wanted. Our whole party didn't eat before we got there because we assumed we would order a full meal. I'm just still shocked at what was not provided and not allowed for $500! We love the place. And service is always exceptional. We are just in shock at the price that didn't really get us anything. Lesson learned. Don't pay for events. Come before and eat and enjoy and then go home for the special event. Sorry guys, someone dropped the ball big time on this. read more

My friend wanted to go here on a Friday night. Sat at bar since no tables were available. The place was dark and freezing cold. The music was unbearably loud. We both had fish over thinly leeks and carrots with a ginger orange sauce. My date asked for a side of the sauce, which I found to be tasteless and was surcharged $5. We felt the fish was over cooked and we're mixed on whether the leek carrot mix was eatable. I had the fingerling potatoes which were deep fried and served on a bowl of oil. My date had the twice baked potato which she said was unseasoned . She asked for some ranch dressing to help the flavor which came with a $2 charge. This was place recommended for their jazz music and good food. For the menu prices I expected a lot more. Very small restaurant and they had live music on a Saturday night. Man had a great voice singing Sinatra and like genre. Not the jazz music I was expecting. Signature sapphire drink was interesting. Like a do-it-yourself martini. Steaks were cooked perfectly and was probably the best steak I've ever had honestly. But that's to be expected for a $50-$70 steak. Can't say the same about the sides. Brussel sprouts were crispy and well seasoned. Very delicious and different however the Mac n cheese and asparagus (not pictured) were a disappointment. Btw, you pay extra for sides ($10-$15). Mac n cheese arrived lookin sad and dry. Tasted just how it looked. When I asked the lady if this was normal she said yes but offered us another side. Brought our asparagus and said it was really good and it was sad lookin as well. Taste was stringy and chewy because it was over cooked as well. The mediocre sides should be complimentary with entree for the taste and preparation. Also not pictured is the steak tartare which was prepared well but you get 5 chips to go with it. Come here if you want some great steak. I'm thankful our waitress was understanding of our needs and that's the only reason I left a decent tip. We love this swanky joint. Minimal white cloth booths, a few 4 tops and a great bar makes this place intimate and fun. Fridays and saturdays are the best, when Spencer Racca plays. Reservations are strongly recommended. Most of the servers are quick, efficient, accommodating, and helpful. The manager, Tony, is a great guy and you can tell has an excellent grasp on the hospitality industry as he's gone out of his way to help us multiple times. We go for the atmosphere, music, and drinks, but stay for the food. Stick to the steaks. Make sure to try their appetizers- the Brussel sprouts and fries are a MUST. read more

We went to dinner at The Sapphire Supper Club Friday night. I needed to have a moment to gather my thoughts on our experience before writing them here. I want to say that we went the very first time back in October and had a great experience then, and couldn't wait to go back. Last night we went back with my husband's boss, his son and both of their wives. It was a table of 6. We arrived about 10 minutes early, so our table wasn't ready. No big deal we were told we could wait at the bar until it was ready. We grabbed drinks while waiting and enjoyed the entertainment. They have a singer that sings tunes from the Frank Sinatra era. It is a loud, but very entertaining atmosphere. When our table was ready we were escorted there by the hostess. Luckily, we had our drinks in hand because it took a while for our waiter to come and introduce himself. Once he arrived, he asked if we had dined there before and exchanged pleasantries. We ordered several appetizers for the table and a round of drinks. The drinks came out individually, just a couple at a time. Appetizers came out and all looked delicious. We got crab cakes, mushrooms, and shrimp cocktail. They were all fantastic, lots of flavor. The remoulade was a creamy sauce with the perfect amount of spice. I'm so glad we ordered a few appetizers for the table, because what happens next is where this restaurant goes from 5 stars to barely a 3. I'm being generous by giving them a 3! After we received our appetizers we didn't see the waiter for at least 20 minutes. We looked around for him and he was nowhere to be seen. We were all ready to order our food. The waiter finally appeared, but was only because he came to tell us he had a really big table that all wanted separate checks and it would be a moment before he could get our order. It was another 20 minutes or more before we saw him again. Luckily someone else came around and filled our water glasses and graciously took a drink order for a couple of people at the table. Our waiter arrived to take our dinner order. He was visibly shaken and was having some difficulties writing down the order. The large table that requested separate checks must have made him really nervous and messed up his ability to work. We assured him our table was going to be all on one bill. Or the fact that it took him nearly 40 minutes to get back to our table to get our order must have shaken him up a bit. He walked around to each person getting orders and then went off to the kitchen. My husband realized the waiter didn't ask him the temp for his steak. We quickly grabbed the next waitstaff to be sure they put in his steak as medium rare. Luckily once it came out, it was the correct temp. I don't recall our dinner actually arriving to our table being excessively long/late. Now, for it to actually get placed in front of us, well that was another story. Two members of the waitstaff, one being our waiter, brought out two large trays with our food and set up on the collapsible stands and left. We assumed he was going back to the kitchen for another tray or another item. Our waiter never came back. I mean never. We didn't see him again at all. Our food sat on those trays for nearly 10 minutes. (My husband is correcting me and saying it was 17 minutes). My husband finally decided to get up and distribute our meals. Another member of the waitstaff saw him handing out the plates and ran over to get them set on the table. She apologized over and over. We were still missing one person's steak. My husband cut his in half and insisted on giving it to his boss' son. We still hadn't even received the missing filet after another 20 minutes. A few moments went by and the manager came back and apologized to my husband's boss and his son over and over. I guess the waitstaff that helped with passing out the food and taking drink orders on a couple of occasions must have told him what had been happening (or not happening) at our table. The manager brought out our bill and did give a discount (which wasn't really necessary, but appreciated) and again apologized for the service. It's unfortunate that this is how it all went down and this little gem had such bad service. By the way, we never did ever see our waiter. The manager had to take care of us the rest of the night. read more

When we arrived we where told it was going to be a big night and they had to hold everyone to a two hour time limit, By the Manager, then the waitress came and we said we where in no hurry, she said well you only have two hours at this table. At 7pm the manager came to our table and knocked on the table and said it is 7 o'clock and we need this table, my wife said can I finish my wine, he said you can take it to the bar, and she said there is no room at the bar, he said I can't do anything about that, and walked away. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen in my life, I understand it was Valentine's Day, but there was emply tables, and she coundn't even finish her drink. And the Steak was COLD. My Delmonico Ribeye Steak looked like a tube of biscuits about to burst. It was as tough as a rubber hose and it tasted like it was one step from being ruined. I could not & did not eat it. It was removed from my bill. My friend next to me said her fish was burnt. The personal service was excellent. The atmosphere was great! I'd go again just for the entertainment. Atmosphere: Cool concept, but music is so loud for the small room that you have to yell to hear each other. Food: The food was VERY salty. The filet was so salty that it was almost inedible. There were four of us and all of our meals were over salted. The stuffed mushroom caps were very good. They provide one complementary loaf of bread with butter, but then charge a fee if you request additional bread. Service: Service and bar drinks were good. read more

This is an upscale restaurant and bar. Small and cozy, it's nestled in the lobby of Legends Hotel on Hwy 90 across from Biloxi Harbor. It is a sort of late 50s/early 60s adult lounge. The bartenders use the beautiful bar to craft excellent cocktails while the kitchen creates beautiful and delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. Mile High Pie is a favorite. But the star of the show literally is the crooner singing the songs that never get old with his Cajun accent and perfect pitch. Very cute too! We love going there and do often with local friends. If you want a table better get a reservation. The place is small and popular with locals as well as tourists. The Saffire deserves the 5 star rating! read more

I also had the chicken marsala, which all the reviews were great and influenced my decision. It was the worst marsala I have ever tasted. It was so bland. It tasted like boiled pasta. I added salt and Parmesan cheese, which helped some, but tasted nothing like marsala. Very disappointed!! I also feel I have to note that the entertainment music was a bit too loud. The steak was cooked to Medium rare perfection and the Chilean sea bass melted in your mouth!!!! The pasta as a side is a no go . The sweet potato was decent . The fish was overcooked and bland, the steak was chewy and low quality, the sides were mediocre and the music was subpar. The fish almandine was so terrible we sent the entree back to the kitchen. Ive had better service at a Waffle House. After spending $160 on a dinner for two, and wasting an anniversary we can never get back, we were unsatisfied and found ourselves at the fast food drive in across the street.
