Sulmona is exceptionally hospitable! First time I called, I asked for a table of 8 and then I needed to update my reservation a few times as our party grew to 16 during a busy graduation season. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous but we actually like outdoor dining. Their portable fireplaces in the outdoor area kept us warm and gave everyone a beautiful glow that makes everyone look younger and beautiful. We enjoyed our food! Our end of the table had fungi pizza (tasty, thin crust), arancini balls, and linguine alle vongole (fresh, light, and flavorful). Best of all the menu and kitchen are nut-free except for a few dessert items with precautions to limit cross contact. Thank you for a lovely and memorable evening. Our host Michael was an angel and joined in on the fun with us. Best evening ever. Well done and thank you.

I always enjoy coming here after the Cambridge 5k's for a delicious brunch! They have always been able to seat our large parties immediately as they open the restaurant, which I'm super grateful for. They have a great selection of classic breakfast dishes and drinks, and the servers are often prompt with service and ordering. I enjoy their large and filling portion sizes, always having some food to save for later! I surprisingly loved their pizza selection, each made perfectly with a deliciously crispy crust. Their porchetta hash is incredible and small but mighty! We keep finding ourselves returning here for brunch as it's one of the easiest places to get to from Central that's open early!

Friday afternoon was lightly populated. Started with a cappuccino, which came quickly. Cappuccino was nice on a winter day, hot with good foam proportion. The setting is rustic/industrial, with nice leather and wooden seats and furnishings. Edison bulbs hand from the sealing next to a cute red vespa suspended in the air. We ordered a margarita and fig + prosciutto pizette and a cubano with skinny fries. You can see the large open oven from across the room with the flames flickering and herb bundles dangling from the ceiling. Inspected the bathrooms, for which they have multiple single washrooms for additional privacy. Clean, with white tile and motion sensor sink + toilet. Pizza was next level. Dough was cooked perfectly. Flavors of both pizzettes really complemented each other. Hints of garlic, good cheese proportion, not greasy. The cubano was good but could use something to give it more flavor "pop". Bread was toasted perfectly. Fries were amazing, thin cut with appropriate amount of salt, not too crispy not too soft. Service was great. Would definitely come again

My girlfriend and a few friends and I made a reservation last week for Sulmona, and it was nice! I wasn't the most impressed with the service for the most part. While my girlfriend and I arrived early and were seated promptly while we waited for our friends, it was a bit chilly and we were right next to the window. We asked for the window to please be closed, to which they weren't able to. They also weren't able to move us despite the multiple open tables around us. While we were a bit cold throughout the night, the food (and the rest of the night) really made up for it. We started with the truffle burrata, which was delicious however the portion could have been a bit bigger for four people. We got an array of dishes including pastas, wild boar ragu, chicken parm, and porchetta. We were all really impressed, mostly so with the wild boar ragu- a great option! Our waiter really made sure the service was improved throughout the night. He verified allergies/restrictions at our table and even brought the chain from my friend's bag outside that had fallen off inside the restaurant. Overall a solid option for Italian food in Cambridge!

It's a pretty big space--lots of seating! We came in for brunch and there were plenty of tables. Service was fast and friendly. I shared the tiramisu French toast and smoked salmon eggs benedict with a friend. Both were good, although the French toast was maybe on the drier side. My husband got the porchetta hash, which was tasty but a bit rich--he wasn't able to finish it. My siblings split the mascarpone French toast with a ham omelette. Everything was pretty standard brunch fare, and I can't recall a standout, but the portions were decent. I think their strength is probably dinner, which I haven't tried yet.

The restaurant wasn't busy, and there's plenty of space around 5pm. It's spacious and conveniently located near Kendall. It's especially lovely during the summer. The service was good, and I really enjoyed the cacio e pepe bucatini pasta with cheese and a truffle topping. The portion size was perfect, and the noodles were thick, creamy, and cheesy--absolutely delicious! The pizza was great, though the skewers were just okay. Overall, a great spot with a lot to offer!

We went on a Tuesday morning as soon as the restaurant opened, and were immediately greeted with great service and a warm atmosphere. Our server was so kind, although I'm failing to remember his name. The food and drinks were 10/10 delicious, and we will definitely be sure to return. Also, we heard that the same owners are in charge of Amelia's down the street, so we might have to go there too!

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by what a good lunch I had here! If I could find anything to nitpick, it would just be that the server didn't check in on us as frequently as I would have wanted them to. It took us a while to order and a while to pay the check, because we couldn't find someone to help. First off, Sulmona was decorated for the holidays and it looked so nice indoors. I loved the natural lighting and how open it was. I ordered the spaghetti and a side house salad. The spaghetti portion was small, but the side house salad was huge! Made me wonder how big the actual entree size is. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente (how I like it). And the house salad was delicious as well! Would def recommend this combo for lunch / I would love to come back for dinner next time!

We went here for a team outing and for such a fancy restaurant with steep prices in a prime part of Cambridge, I was really disappointed by the service and honestly the food. I was craving some italian and sadly this place did not meet the standard. Now the part I would come back for are the appetizers. There was a meat and cheese platter and the fritto misti that we really enjoyed (it even included fried sardines that were a hit!). We ordered the truffle burrata which tasted nothing like truffle, it felt like one tsp of truffle oil was drizzled on top, but a let down nonetheless. The portion size to the price was not worth it in my opinion. There was probably a half serving of linguine in my clam linguine, with only 6 clams. The lobster ravioli's lobster portion was also severely overcooked, it barely came off the shell! The bread served with the prosciutto was hard as a rock! We also ordered a bottle of wine, which they first forgot to bring and gave us a complimentary glass (nice of them), and then brought back a bottle of warm wine. We had to ask twice for a glass of ice to try and cool it down. There were several times we had to repeatedly ask the waitress for simple things such as silverware or more water that took longer than we anticipated. We expected more from this location and would hesitate to come back for even the vibe!

Amazingly fresh draft beer. Great food, great place right opposite the Ragon Institute.

    No I'm sorry.

I held this year's birthday dinner here. I had a good impression of Coda Restaurant Group before,…read moreand this place did not disappoint. Prosciutto: The best dish of the meal. The prosciutto slices were perfectly salty, rich in fat, and smooth, wrapped around the refreshing sweetness of kumquats, the delicate creaminess of stracciatella cheese, the crunch and nutty aroma of pistachios, and topped with a smoky touch of sumac powder. It had a rich and distinct flavor profile while offering a gentle and comfortable taste. Spaghetti: The refreshing lemon and basil paired with the umami crab meat is a classic combination. Chili oil added a touch of spice and aroma, while pea tendrils provided a light herbal fragrance. The sauce was emulsified very smoothly, making it both rich and palatable, although the spaghetti itself didn't leave a particularly strong impression. Half Chicken Milanese: A large portion, perfect as a main course to share. The chicken cutlet was thick, fried to a fragrant perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Wrapped in lettuce and eaten with mayonnaise, it brought back memories of the fast food stalls outside my school when I was a child. This was my first time trying rhubarb stems. The tangy and refreshing taste cut through the richness, and the texture was like softer celery and firmer green bell peppers - quite interesting. Duck Bacon Pizza: The most highly rated pizza online, and it was truly delicious! The rich, savory flavor of the duck bacon, the succulent richness of the shimeji mushrooms, and the mellow sweetness of the caramelized onions, combined with the creamy cheese base, made it a calorie bomb, but I still felt it was the right choice. Unfortunately, the crust was a bit hard, making it difficult to cut with a knife. Cotechino Pizza: This was my first time trying a pizza with sweet potatoes, and I couldn't help but admire their innovation. The colors were vibrant, and the sweetness of the sweet potatoes paired with the smoky aroma of Cotechino sausage bits created a full yet harmonious flavor, evoking the feeling of being in the southern Italian countryside in early autumn, basking in the bright sunshine and the satisfaction of a bountiful harvest. The restaurant offered menus printed with "Happy Birthday," and the waiters provided professional cake-cutting service. Overall, a very comfortable experience.

Have wanted to try Gufo for a couple of years now, and finally made it in for an early birthday…read moredate night. We didn't make a reservation so we ended up at the bar but I didn't mind. I got the after school snack cocktail which was very refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. We split the Bucatini Verde and it was so delicious. I couldn't even pinpoint the flavors I was eating but it was amazing. Fresh pasta and just really good flavor. We saw a dish online we wanted, but the server explained they use that pasta for different dishes and change out the sauce, so I'm glad I got to try it. We then split the Pepperoni + Vodka Sauce pizza which was good. I'll be honest I was a tad disappointed in the pizza. It was flavorful but I think I was expecting the same feeling I got when I had the pasta. It was good, but just that, good. Crust was a little burnt. I did love the vibes and pasta and it's definitely known in Cambridge for a good reason. I'd recommend a reservation if you'd like a table as it does fill up fast.
