The food is decent here however I would much rather go to Al Basha for better food, better service, all at a cheaper point. I will only give this place one star because the appetizers were good. The service was ok but our waiter wasn't the nicest at the end. The salad is horrendous. The Greek salad is more olives and pepper. The lettuce is soggy, and they will drench your Cesar salad in dressing. To add chicken or shrimp on your salad it's an extra $10. So you're basically buying a rip off salad for $26 for like 4 pieces of shrimp in your salad and soggy lettuce. We let our waiter know at the end what we thought of the food and he couldn't be anymore rude about our opinion. He said I quote "This is Miami Beach what do you expect". Wow. Only one lady staffed the restaurant but she did a nice job. It is a bit hole-in-the wall but I've never had a problem with that! Food is good - the sandwiches are generously packed with meat and veggies. We also enjoyed our appetizer plate with hummus, feta, olives, grape leaves, and veggies. It looked like a tiny deli with some tables but they also have table service. The service here was very good. The girls kept close attention to detail and really took care of us. I ordered the taboulli as an appetizer. For the three of us. It was pretty good. My boyfriend says it the best one he's ever had. The parsley isn't chopped up too fine. Which made eating it pretty pleasant. It's really herbaceous and simple. A squeeze of lemon tied the whole thing together. It also came with a side of pita that was very good. I ordered the gyro wrap. It was really good. The flavors from the tazitki was on point. Only weird thing was it was kinda warm. I was expecting that warm pita and cool tazitki mouth feel but tazitki was also kinda warm. They also seasoned the lettuce and tomato and cucumber. The whole thing was delicious. Boyfriend got the steak and eggs. The steak a bit chewy. But the eggs look like it was cooked perfectly. Everything seasoned well. My friend got the chefs salad and it was really good too. Seasoned with the same dressing that was on the veggies in my gyro wrap. Only issue was that the eggs were waaaaay over cooked. Sultan is a small Mediterranean restaurant that has been around for over 30 years. The prices are a bit high, but that's South Beach for you. The food is decent and you'll notice many pictures of celebrities on the wall. There is both indoor and outdoor dining and lots of choices on the menu. Definitely a good place to checkout. read more

Came here late night and looking for some drunk food. The Gyro wasnt exactly the best. The meat was dry and the ingredients didnt taste the best. The yogurt sauce (tzatziki) did not have good flavor. They seemed like they had a pretty extensive menu so maybe the other items are better. I always rate a place like this on the most popular signature item and that is the gyro. Unfortunately this wasn't one of the best I have had. It is great that it is open late so that is positive. We came after being at baoli's across the street. From my experience, it seems when gratuity is added to the bill, the staff don't have any reason to provide decent service. We arrived late afternoon on a weekday to find one table inside occupied (there are 2 tables to seat 4, 2 tables to seat 2, and then seating along the window and outside). People seemed to enjoy the outdoor seating more than inside. After looking at the menu, I decided on the gyro (lamb and beef) wrap for $9.75. The combo plate was almost double and not worth paying extra for rice and salad. We weren't offered water so I ordered a bottled pop. For a small restaurant that wasn't busy (maybe a couple others waiting for food), the food took a long time to prepare and be served. I saw one cook, who I saw also washing dishes, and 2 servers. It's probably a better idea to have one server and 2 cooks! The food was good when it arrived. The portion size wasn't huge for the price, though and with the extra 15% for going to the coolers behind/beside us to get drinks, take our order, bring the food, and take away dirty dishes, it is not worth it. If you do come for the overpriced food, take it to go and eat at the beach. read more

I went for the Gyro wrap which came with a lamb as well as beef combination, and though I've certainly had better, it was pretty darn good especially considering that it came at price of less than $10 dollars. If you desire something else, the menu offerings are far more extensive than one might think they would be for such a small establishment and, as such, covering a rather wide variety of varying prices. I rather enjoyed the outdoor table areas which are pleasant and great for people watching. Overall service was friendly, polite and efficient; nothing to complain about on those counts. read more

I found it a bit pricey compared to what I'd pay at home for the same meal and considering the rice and salad are pretty much plate fillers but this is Miami Beach afterall. This restaurant is one of the best in Miami. The Hummus they serve there great and is the real taste of Hummus. The bread that comes with it is soft and so good. All their meats and salads are fresh. One of the best things they serve is Falafel and Dolma(grape leaves stuffed with rice). They have a unique condiment which is chili and ketchup. Plus they have a kind a polite staff that are always smiling. This is the best Turkish restaurant i have tried. You should give this restaurant a shot. read more

I come here almost every time I'm in miami. The food is tasty. I've had the gyros wrap and the combination plate. It's all usually very good. The tzatziki sauce is a bit sour for my taste but still good. The rice is delicious which is unfortunate because if you want to get the rice you have to get the plate and it's very expensive. It's about $10 for a wrap and $20 for a plate. On a few occasions I tried getting a wrap with a side of rice and the waitresses got annoyed and tried getting me to order a plate. The prices here are a bit ridiculous and one thing I do not like is that they refuse to serve tap water and make you buy a bottle. I don't care where you are you should always be able to get a free glass of ice water. Should mention they are open late and are good place for a late night gyros. read more
