We had Dolmas and Tabouleh and Baklava! All of the flavors were great. However the waitstaff was a bit inept and SPRING WATER was $2.50+

I come here almost every time I'm in miami. The food is tasty. I've had the gyros wrap and the combination plate. It's all usually very good. The tzatziki sauce is a bit sour for my taste but still good. The rice is delicious which is unfortunate because if you want to get the rice you have to get the plate and it's very expensive. It's about $10 for a wrap and $20 for a plate. On a few occasions I tried getting a wrap with a side of rice and the waitresses got annoyed and tried getting me to order a plate. The prices here are a bit ridiculous and one thing I do not like is that they refuse to serve tap water and make you buy a bottle. I don't care where you are you should always be able to get a free glass of ice water. Should mention they are open late and are good place for a late night gyros. read more

Garbage Garbage they stuffed my gyro with old old lettuce, tomato which I specifically asked them not to put in. There was little to NO lamb In the gyro I also bought a shrimp wrap which was was stuffed with more old greens stale pita bread that is definitely weeks old. The food was to go so I only found out when I got to My hotel and through this garbage they call food straight in the trash someone please call health Dept I want my $30 back. We only ended up here because we were walking and it was the first restaurant that we came across; wish we kept on walking. Their prices are steep in comparison to the portion sizes of their dishes - which we would've understood given it's Miami Beach, but everything was overcooked/dry and lacked flavor. Was really excited about this place thanks to the reviews. It's a little hole-in-the-wall in a highly trafficked area, so we figured it had to be good. The walls are lined with photos of visiting celebrities, raising my expectations. Price wasn't bad for where you were. It's crazy to me that nobody in Miami Beach serves non-bottled water, but it is what it is. I was really looking forward to my falafel pita, thinking it was going to be amazing. Spoilers: it wasn't. The pita was delicious, seemed like it had been slightly fried before being served. Tzatziki also tasted great, as did the fillings. But the falafel was the worst I've ever had. It was incredibly doughy and tasted like a hush puppy. I couldn't even figure out if there was actually chickpea in it. The friend with us also hated the falafel. Boyfriend enjoyed his lamb pita. I really wanted to give this a higher rating but unfortunately it did not meet our standards. It is extremely over priced to be honest, but it must be the norm of the restaurants in the hub of Miami to charge what they do. The chicken in the wraps were VERY dry and because it was huge chunks- it was noticeable. Tip was automatically included which I find silly when we had NO table service. The salad and wrap were OVERLY seasoned. All I tasted was the damn spices, it was over powering and took away from wrap. Less is more. The staff is friendly - so I feel bad giving 2 stars. WARNING: I guess this place doesn't do well enough selling overpriced mediocre food so they go the extra step of trying to rip everyone off. When I ordered I noticed that they automatically charge a 15% service charge. I usually leave 20% but fine, I'll add a little extra if the service is good. Then I got the bill and the credit card receipt. 1) First they add 15% to the price of the food on the bill. (This is what is expected.) 2) Then after you give them your credit card and they come back with the paper to sign they add ANOTHER 15% tip to the total shown on the previous bill. I'm assuming they hope that most people don't catch this. They have now automatically added a 30% tip to what they show you should pay. 3) Finally they have the nerve to have a space for "ADDL. TIP" before you add up the total. So they have already added 30% to your bill, and then they're trying to get you to add even more. I guess this works well enough on tourists. Be careful this doesn't happen to you. read more

I used to visit Miami more often and would always go to Sultan Restaurant to have the Gyro plate which was my favorite and after more than 10 years I recently went back to my favorite restaurant in south beach and there food was as delicious as I could remember and the waitress Madina was super helpful, prices are decent for the area and they always have awesome music playing! I ordered chicken kebab with rice and salad. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, but it was great. Chicken was well seasoned, rice was hot, veggies were fresh. No complaints from me. I ordered a shrimp wrap in a warm pita,with tomatoes, onions, lettuce and tzatziki sauce and was impressed that our food was served to us just five minutes or so after ordering. While the veggies were fresh, the shrimp was flavorless. I only can confirm that it was shrimp by the appearance and texture. The pita was also bland. At least it was served warm, and soft.
