Sumi had great prices for lashes. I recommend the Yy lashes as they look fluffy and are super light. I was very relaxed and fell asleep and woke up looking beautiful. They play soft music while the tech is working. Mia and Michelle are great. Both are super kind and experienced. Highly recommend.

Kelly at Sumi is hands down my favorite lash tech I've ever been to, and I've been getting my lashes done for over 10 years. She's incredible at helping you figure out exactly what style you want and tailoring the look so it suits you perfectly. I never feel rushed -- she makes sure I'm comfortable the entire time and creates such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. On top of her talent, she's just a genuinely friendly, warm person who clearly loves what she does. You can feel how excited and passionate she is about her work, and it shows in the results every single time. I always leave feeling amazing. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my lashes.

She takes her time to listen to the lash look I desire, and she offers thoughtful recommendations and shows you what you might consider. Kelly is incredibly gentle, so gentle that I actually fall asleep during the session. By the time I wake up, my lashes look beautiful again. The result is consistently fantastic, and the overall experience is pleasant and relaxing. A couple of tips: I recommend bringing cash to avoid any extra card fees. Please bring cash for tips, they truly deserve it! If you're looking for someone who listens, cares about the details, and makes the process comfortable, this is the place to go. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

This is my first time ever trying eyelash extensions. It was a very positive experience. I didn't get the name of the esthetician who did my lashes, but she definitely got skills and was very patient while doing my eyes. I wanted something more natural looking and not too long, and end up with the sunflower design. The esthetician helped me choose the length, and I think it was perfect length for what I was looking for. The place is quite chic and relaxing. They offer other treatments for skincare and that's probably why it felt like a spa place. The eyelashes looks great and makes me look like I have makeup on even if I don't.

I showed my lash tech a picture of what I wanted I got the complete opposite. I chose the style I wanted by texting them a picture and asking what style it was, they said "layered style" so that's what I booked. I then asked her against my appointment and got a different answer "anime style" and I asked her to not make it so dark and to space it apart like the phot. Which was uploaded by the owner on yelp. So I'm confused why I didn't get the result I wanted since they've done it before. The lashes looked wonky and hideous not to mention poked my eyes everyone I blinked. The lady also kept complaining about my "oily skin" to excuse that the lashes don't stay long. However, my skin is bone dry and literally peeling at the time because of how dry so that also confused me. Overall, don't go, waste of money and time and pretty rude workers read more

I've been getting my lashes done with Kelly and she is amazing! I have been getting my lashes done for years but she still made sure to explain all the styles and which ones would look better with my hooded eyes on my first visit. My lashes always look perfect every time, no matter which style I go with. I change my lash style based on the occasion and she is always so accommodating and patient. She makes sure I am happy with her work before I walk out the door! My mom gets her lashes done here too and everyone is so nice. read more

I always come here for my lash removal and I'll never go anywhere else! Appointments are super easy to book online, parking is at diamond jamboree but I go in the morning so it's not bad. Pricing is amazing and eyelash removal does not hurt. Place is cute too! read more

When I came in for first time, they showed me their different styles of lashes from a large selection that you can see on their wall when you walk-in. Let me be clear here. I really love Sumi Lashes, I normally would give five stars all day. The reason for my change of heart and low rating now is all due to one employee who has treated me so terribly and left such a horrible taste in my mouth the last several times I've come in. I could've paid $11 at cvs and gotten the exact same lash look Crystal gave me. She clearly has zero talent or experience and she lacks the ability to properly communicate or understand when you try to explain to her what kind of look you're aiming for. I'm was unlucky enough to get stuck with her my last 2 fills (which is shocking because I have no idea why they would schedule someone with such little talent so regularly)... she is no where near as good as any of the other girls working there. So if you get booked with Crystal, immediately reschedule and wait for anyone else. Trust me, it will be worth the wait. read more

Myself and another black male came in. I wanted to get my eyebrows done. I asked if they did eyebrows. The front desk worker looked at another coworker who refused to look at me and the coworker shook her head no awkwardly at the front desk girl. The girl then looks at me uncertain. They literally refused to verbally talk to us. I was denied service either for being black or for being male. I know they offer eyebrow services. It was on the wall menu. I have been getting my lashes done for years but I did stop for a break a couple of times. Once because my old lash girl decided she needed to cut back on clients. The other time was just for a good old lash break. So now I needed the lashes back on. I found Sumi by accident when I was in the Jamboree area. So far, Sumi has delivered. Crystal is my main girl. History

Established in 2016.

Sumi® Lashes mission is to provide lash artists the platform they need to soar to new heights and fulfill their dreams of entrepreneurship while not compromising their creativity. We are committed to providing our lash stylists and salons with top quality products and continued lash extension training. Sumi® Lashes was founded in 2016 by husband and wife Bo Cui and Yu Xiao. With their combined experiences, Yu designed and built out the first Sumi® Lashes while Bo worked on perfecting the operations and customer experience. Soon after the first Sumi® Lashes was established, other artists expressed interest in owning their own Sumi® Lashes location, and in May of 2018, the couple decided to Franchise their company. They have since expanded to 10 Franchise locations with several more in the works.

However, I left feeling unclear about the qualifications of the person who performed my injections and whether the providers were operating under another individual's medical license. During my appointment, an employee took photos of me and laughed while looking at them, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. Although I was told I needed more than 20 units, I explained that I only wanted the 20 units I had purchased, focused around my eyes. After the treatment, my eye became swollen and bruised, which has made me concerned about the placement of the injections. Based on my personal experience, I will not return. I strongly encourage others to confirm the injector's name, credentials, and level of experience before receiving any treatment here.

I had a very disappointing experience. My sister, niece, and I came in to get our eyebrows done, and we were initially told there was no one available. Then we were told to come back in about 20 minutes, but the employee's attitude made it clear we were not welcome and should probably not even bother returning. The interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable, and honestly I left feeling racially profiled. The way we were treated compared to others was upsetting and unprofessional. Customers should be treated with respect, not made to feel unwelcome. Response to business owners: Thank you for responding. I understand businesses can be busy and that walk-ins may need to wait. My concern was not the wait itself, but how the interaction was handled. We were first told no one was available, then told to return in about 20 minutes, but the employee's words, tone, and overall demeanor gave us the clear impression that we were not actually welcome to come back. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable, and that is what led to my review. Also I was never referred to her by any other lash place. I was fooled by her ratings on Yelp and I wrote my review to help anyone who might have considered going there. Sunny even said my lashes were healthy during the time of the service. She did not refuse to put on 14 or 15, as Julie falsely stated in her infuriating response. In fact, the other lash place I went to afterwards put them on without a problem. Wow Julie, you completely mishandled a customer service situation and you try to rectify it by lying your way through. You made yourself completely unavailable until the time for a fill and then kept trying to charge me for a really bad service. Shame on you!
