DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Movers were very unprofessional, showed up looking hungover, and I did not receive all of the services I paid for.. Which lead me to payng even more money out of pocket. I smelled marijauna on them at my new house. One tracked mud or dirt on my brand new carpet. I felt as if the movers were buying time. It took them double the time to do what could have been done in a shorter amount of time. Several breaks and moments where they were not to be found. The service and the cost did not add up. I moved from a 2 br apt, 2nd floor with elevators to a 3 br single story townhome both less than 1500 sq ft. I paid $1200 to help them move and disassemble items to speed up the process that they still managed to drag the time. I know the job was no more than $600, $750 at best, and that's for quality service. The job done was worth much less. I thought I was paying for professional service, but felt as though two random drug addicts did the service. And crack heads would have done the service quicker and with less damage. I also had to reassemble items that were meant to be assembled by the movers, because they left the screws at my apartment. As slow as they were you would think everything was intact, NOPE! Broke a 55" inch TV, I had to purchase another, scratched my wooden table on one side along the entire side, looked like they dragged it, scratched my wood coffee table and foot board, and broke my dresser. They were disassembling things that didn't need to be disassembled. I don't mind paying for quality service, but nothing aligned with the website, dirty blankets, dirty smelly slow movers, shoddy work, just horrible amateur service. Absolutely nothing professional about it. I thought I was going to save money, but going with this company costs me so much time, unnecessary money and headaches. I put in a claim, but we'll see where that goes. It should be a crime for businesses to carry on like this. I will be copying and pasting this to any site I can, because people need to know what type of people they are dealing with. SCAMMERS!

After getting the $50 deposit, no one showed up. Not able to contact anyone. Trying to call the whole morning and afternoon, no reply.

I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

They were very responsive when we inquired (via text) and I liked that they charged per hour based on the number of movers you requested. We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

I called at 2:00PM and they were here at 3:00 PM for the move. The man was so accommodating and very careful with all of the furniture, they wrapped everything and took it off after relocating it. They were efficient, professional, had all needed equipment for the move and listened to directions on the placement of the pieces. To anyone considering Square Cow Movers: do yourself a favor and look elsewhere…read more I did my homework. I spoke with multiple moving companies. In the end, it was Square Cow's overly confident answering service that convinced me to go with them. Big mistake. I hired them to move a large bedroom set from a second-floor bedroom to the garage--something I clearly communicated was not a simple task. I had over four phone calls, sent multiple photos, and explicitly discussed the risks and challenges involved. Each time, I was told everything was "in the notes" and the movers would be properly equipped with straps and the right tools. I even spoke directly with the operations manager the day before the move. He reassured me--again--that his crew would be fully prepared. He even advised me not to purchase additional insurance, claiming it was an easy job and not worth the extra cost. Then moving day arrived. The crew showed up completely unprepared. No straps. No proper equipment. Within minutes, they dropped the first piece of furniture, severely damaging it. The rest of the move was borderline reckless. The crew themselves admitted that Square Cow doesn't provide them with tools or care about their safety--or the customers' belongings. According to them, "Square Cow only cares about making money." After my experience, I believe it. I filed a damage claim, and now I'm stuck in their slow, unresponsive process that may take up to 90 days to maybe--maybe--get a fraction of what the damage is worth. Bottom line: they talk a good game on the phone, but they have zero follow-through. The left hand has no clue what the right is doing, and they clearly don't equip their crews to do the job safely or professionally. Their so-called claims department is a joke. Don't fall for the sales pitch. There are better, more honest companies out there. Square Cow Movers is not one of them.
