I really like plain wings and I feel like it's so hard to find decent wings that cross all my boxes. One day I decided to order from here cause why not. I got their wings with a cajun rub. They were great. Cooked well, not too big or small and felt like a decent value. Their wings come with carrots/celery, ranch, and fries. They also include ketchup and wet naps in the bag which is a nice touch. The fries are actually really good but they just have a lot of short and small ones mixed in. Their ranch isn't my number one fave but I will put it in a good ranch category. It goes well with their food. At this point I have had their wings several times now but I will say this last time was a bit disappointing. If I am ordering 12 wings, I would never want 10 drums. And that is what I got. 10 drums and 2 flats. 10 drums is actually ridiculous and kinda funny when you say it out loud. They were also a bit overcooked this time. So I think that concludes my addiction to this place for now, unless I get curious one day down the road and try something different. read more

I ordered to a smashed burger to go w some fries and I don't know what to say, I don't live far from here so didn't really traveled long to get home. The burger was so soggy that the bottom bun was so wet I had to eat it w a fork, the meat it self was flavorless not even salt as a seasoning was there all you tasted was beef. Fries were so thick it almost reminds you of a steak fries it is somewhat seasoned I think that's the only thing I sort of enjoyed. I will probably pass on ordering food here because we came here to play and drink before and ordered nachos and it was also bland and lacking in flavor's. read more

We live in Centennial Hills and always want to check out new things/places, so we decided to go to Skye for their happy hour. The place is a typical bar/tavern, with high tables/chairs, bar with games, lots of TV sets. If one is looking to relax with a drink and appetizers in a comfy sofa this is not the place. This does look like it's a fun place to unwind. They seem to have all kinds of daily and monthly specials. The service was good, but the food was great. They have a good enough selection. So we got the potsticker, chicken wraps, poppers, nachos. Every single dish was scrumptious. We especially liked how they prepared the nachos --- seems like they layered the nachos and the sauce unlike other places where they just pour the sauce on top and the bottom nachos don't get any of it. We also ordered a bowl of their roasted tomato soup which turned out so tasty. Chef Julius himself brought out the soup and when we told him it's one of the best we've ever had, he brought another serving to take home with us. Now, that's a great way to build a business and encourage customers to keep coming back. All together, our experience was very good, and the only suggestion I would make is to have a variety of seating --- break up the tables and chairs with some comfortable sofas, armchairs. read more

Took our out of town visitors for brunch around 11:15 am Saturday. It wasn't crowded but there were people at the bar. We were greeted as soon as we entered and shortly after we sat at the tables the nice lady at the bar gave us menus and took drink orders. There is a cigarette smoke smell but it wasn't too bad , they must have good ventilation. They played 80s music and some sang along at times it was fun! Our server was Tonya and she was so nice and gave us fantastic service! The food was all very delicious and presented well! We will be back for sure now or even order to go. This is our closest local bar and grill - and its pretty good! It's part of the WSKY chain (which I enjoy), however its a different menu (but there are so overlaps like the grilled cheese). The service is pretty good, Maila was our server and she was great on getting us refills on our drinks. The one thing I do like is that they have Truly on draft. Well balanced cream cheese with a nice half slice of jalapeno deep fried to a crunch. Bang Bang tacos (shrimp)- hands down my favorite item from what we chose. Amazingly cooked shrimp with fresh cabbage to give it that double crunch that I love. And some flavorful spice to make it all the better. And the unspoken hero's That pumpkin spice martini or espresso... I forget the name but it was addicting. Not overflowing with pumpkin flavor and just enough espresso taste made it soooo smooth. Stopped in here last minute on a Saturday night for some drinks and appetizers. The ambience is different from any neighborhood bar I've been to. There is very soft lighting and cozy corners to grab a table and have an intimate conversation, which I love. The bar area is mellow and clean, nice selection of draft beers also. Friendly servers that were prompt and attentive. We were there during happy hour which was very affordable! The Skye Bar & Grill is a casual neighborhood sports bar and restaurant with some gaming located in the north-west part of Vegas. They offer all day breakfast, and a food menu with lots of variety but it does differ slightly from the website menu. They also offer a very inexpensive happy hour menu. You sit at the bar with lots of big screen TVs or a high top. There are some booths and some traditional seating. We tried some happy hour margaritas - They are cheap and strong! ($5.50) Short Story - The food was a mix of good and not so good. Longer story - I tried the fish of the day - Salmon. The fish was prepared reasonably well and was good. The Boursin mashed potatoes that came with it were over mixed and gluey and didn't have enough Boursin Cheese in them to taste any. We shared a side of macaroni and cheese. It was slightly under seasoned but was very good and was made with lots of real cheese. The Brazilian Beef Bowl did have good flavor to it but the beef was very tough. I have been coming to Skye Bar for a few years now, it's a go to being in the area! Great ventilation, great locals, and usually great bartenders. You know, the ones who remember your name and order. I'm not sure what's happened on Tuesday nights, but neither the bartender nor the server were familiar. That's not a problem, I get shifts change! But for attitudes to change so much? The server was NOT inviting. I tried making silly joke and she was not about it, definitely felt like I had bothered her. Usually we have a warm and friendly environment. Tuesdays we normally have Lex as our bartender. She remembers us by name, knows our orders (there's 1-4 of us at a time), so fun to joke around with, kept the atmosphere lively and fun! Tonight's bartender, name is probably on the receipt pictured, was subpar. She existed with zero personality. To compare her to the graveyard bartender who came in around 11pm, night and day! He introduced himself, had some humor, and kept us going! To be a bartender is to be an artist for the public. It's not just serving drinks, it's creating relationships. As stated before I have been here many times! Tonight I played $100 at max bet. I was comped one Diet Coke. You've got to be kidding me? I can assure you my girlfriends and I agreed that we would try Born and Raised and see if their service towards regulars is better. When I frequented Shucks I would receive comped drinks and food. At Skye Bar tonight I ordered multiple drinks, two food items, and was comped a Diet Coke and one well shot. Sorry but not cool Our check was split into two. Skye Bar is a cool local spot that's located in the Smith's shopping center at Skye Canyon. I've been periodically coming here since I moved to the area 2 years ago and the food never disappoints. I usually go there to watch VGK games, so it's always pretty busy, which makes being seated take a little longer than expected. Unfortunately like most Vegas bar & grills, smoking is allowed inside, which I personally find disgusting, especially when you are eating food. But, that's the norm in Vegas. It's usually not too smoky, but on this most recent trip it was pretty bad. So much so that we decided to leave after finishing our food instead of watching the rest of the game, which was a bummer. Drinks here are reasonably priced for Vegas and they have a good happy hour. The food is always on point and it's not all your typical bar food. My fiancé always gets the Philly Cheesesteak and while he said it was a little different this time, it was still good. I like to mix it up and try new things, so this time I opted for the Brazilian Beef Bowl. It is basically a stir fry dish of skirt steak, veggies and rice with a delicious sauce. The steak was flavorful, but some of the pieces were a bit chewy for my liking. The dish was large enough that I was able to take part home to enjoy for lunch the next day.
