We love that there is a Sumo Dog in Indio. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have gluten free buns which allows me to enjoy a gourmet hotdog. Some people complain about the price, but this is a gourmet hotdog, not a AM/PM or 7/11 hotdog. You get what you pay for, and you pay for a delicious gourmet hotdog. I highly recommend sumo dog. It's a breakfast burrito stuffed to the brim with eggs, hot dogs, tater tots, a sort of spicy sauce, cheese, and jalapenos! Good ingredient list for sure. It was wrapped well, and the fillings worked together pretty well too! The only thing is, that I wasn't really able to get behind the idea of hot dogs in a breakfast burrito. I think that's a me problem, because the rest of the burrito was, by all accounts, quite tasty! This place has been on my list for the longest time. Let me tell you that it didn't disappoint! This is an Asian fusion hot dog & burger place. They have so many different options and great deals throughout the week. I tried the sumo chili dog and tater tots, it was all so tasty & the combination of flavors was perfect! My friends and I came to this Sumo Dog last night from tennis. We have heard of sumo dog and they actually have a pop up sumo dog inside the tennis tournaments. But the ambience and experience here at this Sumo was/is outstanding. The food is great, the service is amazing. The cashier Jesabell is outstanding, very thorough when explaining the menu and we all appreciate that since it could be a little difficult to understand the Japanese ingredients. 10/10 read more
