My new favorite spot! The decor is top notch! Instagram worthy! Felt like I was eating somewhere in Japan. So kool! Got seated right away! AYCE but premium items is limit 1 per person like the flank steak the fried scallop! Food was delicious! Fresh quality fish and flavorful per all the sushi lover in my family. The coconut shrimp was yummy. The cooked rolls had asterisks on the menu making it easier for me to see and choose! You've gained another customer and can't wait to go back when I'm back in Vegas!

Whenever we are in town in Las Vegas, we always try to go to 1 new AYCE sushi spot during our trip. We decided to check out Sumo Sushi since it was close to where we were staying at. We arrived at Sumo Sushi on a Wednesday night for dinner. The sushi restaurant is located in a nice area off Warm Springs Road in Las Vegas. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot out front. The restaurant has fun, vibrant, culturally modern decor. I love the Japanese animation mural on the wall. The cherry blossom tree in the center of the dining room looked whimsical. The atmosphere is family friendly and bustling. We chose the late night AYCE option for $25.95 for each of us. It is such a great value deal. We also got the grape spritzer and strawberry spritzer cocktails for $5.00 each from the late night special menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. The standout favorites from the AYCE menu that we enjoyed the most were the soft shell crab, yellow tail collar, Bruno Mars special, No name roll, Chanel roll, Lobster king roll, Everybody likes roll, and Baked scallop roll. All the sushi rolls looked appetizing and tasted flavorful. Baked rolls are usually my favorite as their baked scallop roll was so scrumptious with every bite. Yellow tail collar was flaky and buttery. Soft shell crab was crunchy and buttery. We appreciate that the rolls can be ordered as half rolls which lets us try more different menu options. Our cocktails were sweet and refreshing. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Sumo Sushi. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The vibe was welcoming and had the feel of a local neighborhood favorite. The late night menu special was totally worth it. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Amazing service and Delicious food. Jonathan and Nicole was our servers they were very attentive and made sure our table was never empty. The server assistants were on it with clearing our plates from our table so we had room for more food. Overall such a great experience. My favorite was the garlic tuna nigiri, cajun tuna, and yuzu yellowtail. I also love the decor here ! Such a fun vibe.

We were looking for a place to eat close to our family vacay house. Happen to stumble upon this local spot. To our surprise they had late night specials $25.95 AYCE sushi M-Th 9pm-close. What a great price! And they also offer half rolls. So we ordered a whole bunch of different rolls and we could sample Everything. We ordered the cocktail specials $5 each: Green Grape Spritz & Peach Sunset were both refreshing and delicious. The service was friendly and our food came out quickly. Our son loved the Bruno Mars Special. Hubby's favorite was the Yellowtail Collar with a very delicious dipping sauce. I enjoyed all the scallop and lobster rolls. The ambiance was lovely with EDM-type music not too loud so we can still hear each other talk. Service was so friendly. The host was so accommodating & nice. Our server Miriam was the best. She checked in on us frequently and refilled our water pitcher without asking. We were very satisfied and stuffed & still had room for dessert. Ice cream: strawberry, matcha, cookies & cream This will definitely be a place we will be returning to whenever we return to LV for vacay. I highly recommend.

Miriam was so helpful as always! I love coming here! This is my fav place in the entire world! The salmon is so clean and the sushi is to die for! Can't wait to comeback.

I think I found my new favorite sushi spot in Las Vegas! I stopped into Sumo Sushi for lunch today and immediately fell in love with the absolutely awesome dining room! The menu looked pretty extensive and there were so many things I wanted to try. I started with a bowl of miso soup, which was huge. I really appreciated that because most places only give you those tiny little cups. I ordered the Rainbow Roll and the Golden Lobster roll. Both were really good. The rainbow roll was fresh, flavorful, and well made. The Golden Lobster roll was probably my favorite though. The garlic flakes on top kind of looked like corn flakes at first, but they had this really nice garlic flavor that worked super well with the roll. My waiter Gabe was awesome and took great care of me throughout lunch. Service was quick and my food came out really fast, which was perfect since I stopped in during the middle of the day. My only tiny bummer was that they didn't have Diet Coke and only carried Coke Zero in cans, but honestly that was not a big deal compared to how much I enjoyed everything else. The prices were super fair, the atmosphere was cute and welcoming, and I already can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Been here a couple of times but this time was my most favorite visit yet. Joined their waitlist when we came at around 5:30p and waited about 10-15 minutes. We were seated in a booth and I liked the privacy and intimate feel it gave. Our server Jake was so awesome! He was friendly and efficient. Jake took it upon himself to order all the items that were 1 per person. He went down the list of items that were 1pp to confirm which ones we wanted to order. Those came in and they were all so yummy. Some of my personal favorites: salmon belly nigiri, super white fish nigiri, salmon nigiri, and the shit, galbi. All of the carpaccio's were amazing and I recommend ordering them all. The cocktails were good: peach and grape sojus. I think this place is worth it! Definitely check them out and it sounds like all the servers are awesome. Also, their little post office box is the cutest!

We were recommended by friends to come here, have visited a lot of sushi places, Ryan was our host, Josh was our server, they both provided impeccable customer service, often seeing Ryan doing just about everything, he was hosting, taking orders, cleaning, serving orders, all with a giant smile on his face. It was our first time here and everything was incredible, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Music was at a normal volume where we don't have to shout or speak loud to conversate. The ambience was nice and cozy. It was consistently busy; yet we had our food served consistently, refills were checked on. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommending friends and family here. There are menu items that they have here, not in some of the other sister restaurants. Probably one of the best sushi restaurants in town.

This was our first time at Sumo Sushi on Warm Springs near Durango, and it definitely won't be our last! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional, the staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. As for the food, everything tasted super fresh and was exploding with flavor. We tried several things, but the mussels were my absolute favorite, the seasoning was spot on. The prime steak was another standout; it was cooked perfectly and honestly outstanding! I also really loved the coconut shrimp, which had the perfect crunch. It's rare to go somewhere where every single dish you order is a hit, but everything here was delicious. If you're in the area and looking for a high quality spot with great vibes, this is it. We'll definitely be back!

Came here during lunch for the ayce sushi. Quality was okay. Ambiance is casual, they're playing music pretty loud. Seems like a good spot for groups. Service was great! 10/10

Sumo Sushi is hands down our favorite AYCE sushi spot. The variety here is seriously endless, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back! We have dined here quite a few times, but this was our first time having David/Dave, as our server and he made the entire experience even better. He is hilarious, constantly cracking jokes, and incredibly attentive. On top of that, he really knows the menu! He is honestly such a gem, and we wish we could have him every single time we visit! No matter what day you come, there is usually a wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, but it is always worth it. We love bringing friends here because it never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxing but still lively, with colorful Japanese inspired decor that makes it feel fun and trendy. We are still hoping to come back one day with another couple and HOPEFULLY get those cool booths on the left side. (Looks like it fits 4 ppl). The food quality is top-notched for an AYCE, but what really stands out is the massive selection. My husband loves the omakase platter and all the nigiri options. As for me, I am pregnant.. so I can't eat anything raw, and am impressed with all their other selections! I am obsessed with the buttered scallops. They literally melt in your mouth and are packed with flavor. We also love the coconut shrimp. It has the perfect sweetness and the sauce is so addicting we could EASILY devour a dozen. The stuffed mushrooms were a newer favorite too. Super juicy, deep fried, and a literal flavor bomb! You also can't forget the Rose Pan Udon.. the noodles perfectly soaks up the sauce and is so rich, creamy and comforting. Whether you are in the mood for sashimi, sushi rolls, baked items, noodles, fried rice, carpaccio, yakitori, hand rolls, steak, omakase, salads, or even ice cream, they have it all! Thanks again David/Dave for the great service, & for giving my in-laws plastic chopsticks helpers, they absolutely adored you!

Shout out to our server Jonathan tonight! He stood out at how he handled the chaos with a smile. Our table ordered round after round (no shame), and every single time he came back grinning, checking if we needed anything else. No attitude, no sighing, just genuine warmth. You can tell Jonathan actually likes what he does, and it makes the whole experience better. Great food is great, but service like this is memorable!

Food is consistently good and service is on point. The prime steak is excellent. Mariam provides fast and accurate service. Thank you.

The food super yummy and fresh. I loved the pork belly options and ate 3 skewers. I should have kept it to 2 but we definitely left stuffed. My husband tried the hottest rolls and they were all manageable (for someone who eats hot things). He said the hottest one was maybe a 7-8 out of 10 on his scale. We will def be returning.

Everyone who was in the restaurant serving or busing helped replace the items on the table. It was very cool to see. I have to mention Cassie, the first and last person I talked to. I'm just wondering when restaurants are going to realize services predominantly what makes them a business. I can cook food for myself at home. I can even roll sushi for myself at home, but if I'm gonna keep getting nickel and dine just to have service, I'm going to quit eating out altogether, but in the case of this restaurant, I will now drastically reduce the amount of money. I spend there due to these greedy habits There is better ways to find an efficiency solution rather than charging your clients. They will make more money by being able to service more people in a shorter period of time, but don't wanna part with the money it would cost for them to make that extra money and pass it on to their consumer.
