A better experience last night, our lady waitstaff was the best !!! She took our orders right away and food came on time and was prepared fresh !!! I ordered the eel kakiage tempura roll and I liked it. And our usual the Agadashi tofu and gyoza of course were good. The grilled salmon belly tasted good not salty but a little fatty for my liking. And I love the pudding and the chocolate cakes. And the best taste for the night was my Okinawa soda drink ( a taste of Tokyo heaven!) I didn't know that a waitstaff can make or break you and I'm glad it was a better experience.

Having lived in Japan for 12 years and then coming back to the States, that hard craving for authentic Japanese food is real--and honestly, it's wild how difficult it is to find a restaurant that truly hits the spot. We've tried so many places, and Ichiza Hanare is one of the few that really stands out. First off the ambiance really just takes me back and really feels like I'm back in Japan. From the second you step in the door, "Iraishamasen" greeting to the layout of the restaurant and the smell, it really has you feeling like you're there! The food is amazing- All so rich in flavor, great quality and presentation is just wow! It's truly an experience eating here and I 100% recommend coming here at least 1 time to enjoy the experience!

I wanted to check this place out mainly for the atmosphere, and it did not disappoint. You get your own little wooden room, giving you a cozy, authentic feel--almost like being in Japan. They thoughtfully provide areas for your shoes, bags, and coat hangers, which adds to the experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu has a great variety if you're open to trying different things. My husband and I had been hopping around Chinatown and stopped in for a bit, and we were blown away by the attention and care in every detail. One standout: probably the best soy sauce in the valley--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, this is easily one of the best Izakaya-style restaurants we've visited, and we can't wait to go back soon.

My favorite izakaya late night dinner spot! A place I have always reccomended to people to go to if they're craving something small to eat late night! They have little private booths for everyone and its such a nice unique experience! I have always enjoyed their first location but after my last service there (had a server have terrible attitude and made us stay 2 hours while waiting for the bill.) The service at this location was WAY better. While they are more limited on food compared to the first one theres still something good to eat here. The takoyaki pyramid is definitely something to order to share for you and your friends, I have always ordered something different as my main meal here and they were always good! I super enjoyed the beef curry and rice plate they have. One of my favorite things to order here is the beef gyudon bowl, super delicious and filling! They also have some really good mixed drinks and my friends have always enjoyed ordering the highball here too. It's not bad for the price either and big good portion for it too! Always had a good experience here, been here so many times and the best for small bites! Definitely always worth coming back here.

My friends and I had our mini reunion here and we had so much fun catching up. The ambiance is chill and cozy. Definitely you feel like you're in Japan. We ordered so many foods I took pictures because I forgot what they are called they were all so yummy. Parking might be limited when its prime hour. We went on a Sunday night and it wasn't bad. Service was ok we stayed for so long and no one really came to check on us we always had to ask for refills and re ordering foods. But it overall good experience.

    Private booths are great

Love the space, specifically the private booths that can become even more private if you ask your server to pull down the privacy shade. Music is fun and matches the establishment and our server was very nice, checking in on us throughout our meal. Gyoza were good but could come with better sauce. Steak roll was ok. Beef bowls were good but some of the beef was a little on the chewy side. Making a reservation on Yelp was very easy and convenient and there's lots of parking available right out front.

We recently visited Ichiza 2 hanare with two families, a party of eight, and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a lot of dishes, and both the kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed all the food! We found the price of the food to be very reasonable, and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back soon

Great restaurant with private booths and menus in each one on the walls. The server Juniko is so nice and made great suggestions. The food- I really enjoyed the items we ordered. Eel kakiage roll, shrimp and vegetable tempura, beef curry with tonkatsu, and uni sashimi. Ended the meal with a mini honey toast. Yum.

We have been wanting to try one of the Ichizas for forever long, but timing just never worked out. Husband and I finally snuck away from the kids for a date night, and of course we chose here. First off, I love the ambiance, seating, and decor here. Each table is sectioned off by little wooden panels, giving the Japanese aesthetic of a semi private booth. Great for families, great for business meetings, great for romantic dates, you get the gist. The service is decent. The manager knows what he's doing and he can keep up with the vibes. The waitresses were okay. We were unintentionally eavesdropping on a loud first date couple next door, and the waitresses kept interrupting at awkward times, whereas the manager knew when to walk in with ease and grace. So on that note, you can have privacy in these booths visually, but you are still audible if you speak loudly. The food and price of food is not spectacular. You can definitely get better similar types of food for better quality and better prices elsewhere. We ordered a smorgasbord of foods, including beef bowl, okonomiyaki with pork, hand rolls, skewers, eel bowl, takoyaki, brick toast with ice cream, and more. The bill was easily close to $200. Was it worth the price? I'm not too sure. While I liked the ambiance, it's not like the food was mindblowingly good. Of the night, my favorites were the salmon hand rolls, beef bowl, and brick toast. You can get these items cheaper at many, many other places, and they often will taste just as good if not even better. Come here if you want an ambiance with Japanese aesthetics, moderate privacy, and decent foods, but be prepared to spend $$$ unless you aren't that hungry.

This izakaya place is set up in a traditional sense where you are seated in a private table that is walled off for privacy and intimate conversation. There is a unique menu with items advertised along the walls that give you the unique izakaya feel. Service is kind, but because of the dividers, they can be absent for a while and forget to check up on you

So overpriced. 4 pieces of garlic on a skewer is $2.50??? The skewers didnt taste smokey at all and the mushrooms were so burnt, it tasted terrible. Interior and menu looks authentic but everything else was disappointing. 2 stars for service only.

Fortunately, the wait was only about 10 minutes, which was surprisingly quick. I ordered the soft-shell crab, baked green mussels, and BBQ ribs with steamed rice. My son ordered the yoshu ramen and fried rice. The food came out fairly quickly, but I noticed that the baked mussels never arrived. When I asked our waitress about it, she said the kitchen was backed up. However, after waiting more than 30 minutes and already finishing the rest of our meal, it felt like the order may have simply been forgotten. What disappointed me most was the lack of an apology. The waitress even asked if I still wanted the mussels at that point. I was ready to cancel the order, but Kyo stepped in and tried to make things right. Thanks to his efforts, the mussels arrived about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, when the mussels finally arrived, I was disappointed again. They were prepared very differently from the baked green mussels I'm used to getting at restaurants in Los Angeles. They were quite spicy, which wasn't mentioned, and the flavor just wasn't what I expected. After waiting more than 40 minutes for them, they definitely weren't worth the wait. Overall, the food was decent, and the restaurant was busy and energetic, but the service mishap and the disappointing mussels left me with mixed feelings about the experience. I do appreciate Kyo's effort to make things right, as he was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating situation.

On the particular evening that we went, either they were extra busy and had too much customers from CES... but they ran out of sushi rice and did not have any hand rolls....How does a Japanese restaurant run out of rice??? We were super disappointed and ended up just getting skewers. Itzakaya Tora, you definitely need to step up your game and have better management in the future for these big events. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. **Overall: 4.75 Stars**…read more Imagine omakase but with a show. That's what you get here at Kyara Sake Bar. I went to Kyara on a date, but it wasn't the quiet or romantic kind of place I thought it'd be. Kyara had great service but they visit you every few minutes and explain things before each dish and they may cook something in front of you or show you the fish (like the actual real whole fish from the same catch you'd be eating)! When we were about to be served the wagyu beef dish, we were shown the certificate and our server explained all about the cow. I felt like I knew all about Bertha and joked that we just went through her photo album and yearbook. Like how was I supposed to eat Bertha now?!! Aiyahhhhh. Kyara may not be the romantic type of restaurant, but it was more memorable and more of an experience! It had may "wow" moments.

If you're looking for a Omakase intimate setting, this place is it. We arrived at 830ish- no wait…read moreand were greeted and seated by a friendly young man. We had a choice for bar or table and we chose table. It was tucked in a corner so it felt intimate for me and husband. Menu was filled with some of our faves and some new things we never tried. Skewers were great esp the Wagyu- it was so good and tender. We enjoyed the agadashi tofu with was one of our faves here. Food was overall delicious and you can taste the freshness of the fish. We def want to come back and experience their dinner specials. Definitely a place to try if you're in the area
