This was our first time coming here. And we go to a lot of sushi and I can say with confidence it's one of the best places we've ever eaten sushi at. The sushi is very fresh, you can taste it, and the rice is minimal allowing you to eat a little more. The Corn cheese was melted thoroughly. some other Corn Cheese has a layer of cheese on top that has settled and is harder in its texture. but the cheese here was melted through and through and even showed throughout the corn. The chicken teriyaki wasn't too bad. the sauce was a little thick but I wouldn't mind ordering it again. The Carpaccio was cut thicker when we are used to, about the same thickness as the nigiri. Normally we love it thinner on the cut but it was still very delicious and fresh. The oyster in particular, especially with that being in the name of the restaurant, was amazing. you can taste how clean and fresh the oyster was. The only knock is that we could only have one order. But i understand it is expensive to get, and restaurant do need to limit the amount a customer can order. The tuna poke had a different seasoning to it than the other tuna, which is what you want or else why have it on the menu. The miso soup had a very good blend of flavor and not a hint of salt. There's not a lot of miso soups we have had in las vegas that have that distinction. Usually some of them are a little salty or too heavy on the flavor. But this one was flavorful and if there was salt in it i couldn't taste it at all which is a huge plus. Lastly, and hats off to the server for recommending this to us, my wife and daughter got the regular ice cream (chocolate and vanilla), but i ordered the Korean Toast. Did not regret it at all. The legs were crispy and a great compliment along with the cinnamon flavor to the ice cream. the toast on the bottom i imagine was warm at first and it melted the ice cream, making the bread a little soggy but I'm not going to knock them on that because the rest of it was that good. the ordering system is fast utilizing a tablet to help you order your next food. The ambiance is nice and quiet. The music was a mix of modern and older pop/r&b but I can forgive that because going at the time we did, about 2pm, it was quiet other than that. I had really high hopes for this place based on all the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was incredibly disappointing because of the service. From the moment we were seated, it felt like we were forgotten. It took much longer than expected to get any attention from our server, and throughout the meal it was difficult to ask questions, or request additional items. We often found ourselves waiting and trying to flag someone down, which took away from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. The sushi itself was decent. Im not a big sushi fan like hubs is handout 10 year daughter only eats California rolls so obviously I asked her if she starts with an order of California Rolls and edamame, can we be billed for that as opposed to $24.95 which is charged for the age range of my daughter She said no and I honestly didn't think we would get our money's worth paying $26.95 lunch. My boyfriend and I were looking for an ayce sushi place to try and chose this one because they offered oysters all for a reasonable price. We were nicely greeted and quickly sat within 5-10mins for a late lunch around 2pm on Memorial day, not that crowded but still quite a few people! Sushi quality is not bad, the salmon and tuna on the nigiris were better than the carpaccio for some reason, and the oysters tasted like the ones you get from a chinese seafood buffet I appreciate that they don't use a lot of rice on the nigiris and it's seasoned a bit too much which kind of caused the rice to crumble whenever you try and pick up a piece but not a problem, it still tasted good. My favorite was the yuzu yellowtail and the surf clam! Uni had a bad smell, taste, and appearance, probably would not recommend. They also have lots of different cut rolls! Being able to have dinner as a party of 8 during the Memorial Day weekend plus BTS concert week alone makes me want to give this place 5 stars. The Korean employees were attentive and kind. They were understanding and accommodating to our needs. Ambiance was incredible. This place is close to the strip and has extensive parking. Give this place a try! The server who took our first order put everything in one ticket so there was a little wait. We were thinking service was slow, so we added more orders. Then we ended up getting all of our first round items all at the same time. We had to cancel some of the second round orders. If the server who opens up the table splits the order into smaller tickets, that would help with the flow of the restaurant and make both the customer and sushi bar happy. This was the first time that I didn't order a single piece of nigiri for round two. All of the fish felt slightly discolored, slightly off texture, and while some people may love that there's almost no rice, it was very random (some had normal rice amounts and other had tiny slivers of rice). I cannot fathom how these reviews are so good. Our experience was very different. We came in for Mother's Day dinner, and when we explained to the server that there was a gluten allergy, she had no idea what gluten was. She also knew nothing about the sake on the menu. They gave us a different server who understood a bit more about gluten, but was so casual about everything, and it made us concerned about ordering because the person gluten is pretty serious. So many sushi restaurants in town have a gluten-free indicator on their menu and this place doesn't. We ordered some oysters to start and considering that oyster is literally in the name of this restaurant I assume they would be good. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. The oysters smelled fishy when they came over and the texture was off. We sent them back. The sushi itself was fine - but not outstanding. The sushi rice was just okay, but a little mushy. The Korean fried chicken was mediocre at best. For what it's worth, we did not order the AYCE menu; we ordered à la carte, hoping that the selections would be a bit better, but it was all fairly average. It was very hard to find roles that didn't have imitation crab or tempura in them either. If you're going for an AYCE place, I think there are better options. My family made a huge reservation for my nephew's birthday. There were like 30+ of us taking up most of the restaurant. I must say the staffs kept up with us quite well. The venue is clean and inviting. We were seated right away and served water. Our table has 4 people since it's such a large party thru had to keep the tables separated to allow us to walk thru. We ordered almost everything from oysters, to unagi (eel) to carpaccio, to dragon rolls, California rolls to kalbi ribs and rice. For starters we ordered miso soup, udon noodles soup. The miso soup was a bit too salty. We brought our own cake and Abel and his colleague brought it out with a fireworks flare and a birthday song! It was the crème of the crop. puns intended lol The birthday boy was grinning from ear to ear. Thank you for that!! I don't know how I went so long without trying out Master Sushi! My go to is usually Sumo or Smile Shota but wanted to try something different and Master Sushi always pops up on my Instagram! Service is fast and servers are attentive; fish is fresh and best part: PERFECT RICE RATIO. The Instagram videos are true, there isn't a heap load of rice with the nigiris and fish pieces are filling. I loved the oyster presentation, simple without any pre-set toppings or sauces. We did have a small issue with the water for the tea not being hot enough, but our server fixed it quickly and took care of us. They have really good options for all you can eat and oysters. Took an Uber here on XMas eve. The restaurant is located in a little strip mall with lots of parking. When we arrived it was packed. Thankfully, they take online reservations and I had reserved awhile back. It was one of the few places that actually take reservations. Even then we still had to wait about 20minutes for a table. They have tables for small parties and can put tables together for larger groups. When we were seated we took a look at the menu. There are quite a few options for Nigiri, Rolls, cooked food, and desserts. Not everything on the menu is all you can eat. There are a few items that are one order per person only. Items like oysters, soft shell crab, short ribs, and desserts among other things. So we made sure we ordered some of those limited items. They have a large selection of rolls as well with descriptions which was helpful. All the food was really well prepared, fresh, and tasted so good. The family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Price was great too; cheaper than other AYCE places. But if you're having to Uber or Taxi you need to take that into consideration as well. We would come back if we are around again. read more

Went to Master Sushi & Oyster on a Saturday night and although busy there was a lot of space to accommodate a lot of people. My group and I went on a reservation which we made morning of, it made us feel secure to know we'll have a table going in and good to know that if you decide day of to go, making a reservation is easy. Parking was fairly busy, but there are spots in the back which is just behind the restaurant. Our server was nice, went over the menu and took our first round of orders. He told us that after the first round you can order off the screen which is attached to the table, making ordering easy and convenient. Most items also have pictures which makes it good for first timers who are curious on what a specific food item looks like. There are a handful of places that do good amount of fish to very little rice, Master Sushi elevates that by having thick slabs of fish on small rice, giving you more in each bite. We had salmon, yellowtail and different varieties of nigiris which was all very good. The oyster presentation was nice. My friend and I were also fairly impressed on how much salmon they put in the Philadelphia roll! With amazing quality, easy way to order and lots of delicious variety on the menu, I recommend Master Sushi especially if you are someone who is anxious ordering with a person. 10/10 food and service! read more

We went to Master Sushi & Oyster for lunch on a Friday, and it was not busy at all when we arrived, though it definitely picked up as time went on. It seems like they're owned by the same people as Top Sushi, and you can feel some similarities in how things are run/the aesthetic. One nice feature is that ordering can be done through an iPad, which means less waiting around for a server and a smoother overall flow. That said, our waitress was excellent--she checked on us often, kept our waters and drinks refilled, and made sure our food came out promptly. The food was good, though I've had higher-quality sushi at places like Top Sushi and a few other spots. Still, everything was enjoyable, and nothing felt disappointing. This was my first time here at master sushi and oyster. This place is huge it was super slow when we were eating here. Not sure why the food is fire, I loved everything here. The menu is so amazing so many choices. The server was friendly and even offered up suggestions on some items that were not on the menu. Of course I tried them. They had blue fin tuna super fresh and tasty. In ordered my usual sushi items such as super white tuna, hamachi, tamago vegetable tempura. The cool thing here is you can order on the iPad or the server can take your or order. The iPad is fun The desserts here are amazing also I got the fired bananas and the Korean street toast. This place was so good! My husband and I love trying new ayce sushi places and this one is a keeper! First off we loved the oysters because they serve it with cocktail sauce, a sweet soy and Tabasco just the way we like it! We tried a whole bunch of half rolls and our favorites were the salmonholic and the be sexy tonight rolls. The tuna nigiri and the Tobiko were our favorite nigiri's and for the appetizers you have to get the baked mussels (not drowned in cheese and nice flavor) garlic edamame, Jalepeno bomb and the nacho bomb! Very tasty and big variety of items. There is a lot to choose from nigiri, sashimis, rolls, and appetizers. They had grilled items as well like LA Galbi and pork belly skewers. These items were mainly only 1 time order. My favorite was the seared salmon and eel nigiri. If you're a salmon lover like me, get the seared salmons! So delicious! They do offer half rolls as well and you can make some into a hand roll as well. I got some pieces of my nigiri that had little bits of cartilage still in it and tough pieces for some of them. Service was great, our waiter was friendly and patient with us when we were ordering our first round of food. You can also order on the iPad as well at the table to see pictures too. They have dessert but only 1 per person. The restaurant is pretty big inside and we did make reservations but it was unnecessary since there were a lot of open tables for a Thursday night. This was a huge disappointment. The variety of fish had very little taste, and the accompanying sauces were somewhat watered down (not much flavor). The uni in particular was especially bad. The salmon belly was the best of the bunch. The strangest part was after the sweet shrimp hadn't arrived, we flagged a different waiter to check on it. He told me he already brought the amaebi. I had never seen him before (again, different waiter) and I said no, he hadn't brought it. He again said he personally brought it. I said are you saying I'm lying? He said "okay I'll just bring you another order". That was very unsettling for me, as he just accused me of lying. Everyone at the table told me to just let it go, but this is as unprofessional as I've ever been treated. To add to that, the amaebi that came was terrible, dry and chewy, not fresh. Master Sushi and Oyster is the new kid on the block. It's located in the same strip mall as Hobak, Gabi, and Hashi. The interior is bright. There's an iPad at each table but it was much easier to order from a server to be quite honest. Their menu is quite a lot and scrolling was too much. The server also has to turn on the iPad ordering option so you can place an order. I feel like it's better to place a big order with a server and then the next few rounds of orders using the iPad. We came here as a big group on a weekday close to 1pm so they had empty tables. You can do lunch AYCE (11:30am-3pm on non-holiday weekdays) for $27 or all-day dinner AYCE for $35. Why pay dinner price at lunch time? Because you get more options! There are items that are limited to 1 order per person (just like all AYCE sushi places). They have fresh oysters. We tried so many things: fresh oysters, salmon nigiri, garlic salmon nigiri, scallop nigiri, seared tuna carpaccio, salmon carpaccio, shrimp tempura, calamari tempura, kimchi pancake, soft shell crab, twist potato, grilled salmon collar, pork belly skewers, Screaming O salad, tuna poke, Japanese lasagna roll, sunrise roll, and sunset roll. I like they have no-rice rolls: stuffed tomato, and pink lady (this tasted weird. I didn't like it). The sushi-to-rice ratio on the nigiri is quite remarkable (new AYCE places start that way. Let's see how long this lasts). My niece couldn't decide if she wants chocolate ice cream of vanilla ice cream so she got both. The ice cream looked like it was pre-scooped while the ice cream was melting then got stuck in the freezer. It was rock hard and they give you a tiniest plastic spoon. So, skip the ice cream.
