i've been loving coming back for happy hour! :3 miso eggplant handroll and crispy brussel sprouts are still a favorite :) i tried the kake udon and i LOVE the broth. the tonkotsu ramen was good but the noodles were kinda chewy which i didn't love. i also tried the salmon kama which i definitely recommend and our server, billy, even told us the salmon collar is cut in-house! service is amazing and billy is so thorough and helpful :) i'm liking the vibes a lot more, the decor used to be more barren but it seems like paneling, the nori logo, and tvs/projectors were put up as of recently
Came in on a Sunday about 30 minutes after opening and was seated after waiting for a few minutes. Service was solid and the handrolls were amazing. We got some miso soups on the house as an appetizer which was nice. Fish tasted really fresh and was good quality, on par with some of my favorite sushi places. Their hand rolls come with a plastic wrap around the nori to keep the nori from getting soggy before you get to them. Unlike some other handroll spots where you get handrolls one by one, our handrolls were served all at once, so the wrapper preserving the nori was very appreciated. Handrolls: Blue Crab 8/10, strong crab flavor Truffle Salmon 9/10, great truffle flavor throughout the roll, paired with the salmon really well Spicy Salmon 8.5/10, crispy bits added a fun texture Unagi (Eel) 9.5/10, some of the best eel i've had. The eel sauce too sweet compared to other places, which I really appreciated Salmon Belly 8/10, good but not as standout as the others Also got the crispy rice spicy tuna, which was solid but rice could have been a bit less dense. 7/10
Walked in and the ambiance was nice, so first impressions were promising. Unfortunately, the first red flag came within a minute of arriving. A couple who had been waiting next to us became frustrated and left because no one had greeted them or acknowledged they were there. We probably would have left too, but we had Ubered there and didn't want the trip to go to waste. We ordered mostly from the happy hour menu since the prices seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, the portions were smaller than expected, and the overall quality was just okay. I was especially looking forward to the oysters, but they were surprisingly bland and lacked the fresh flavor I was expecting. Overall, I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the service, food quality, and portion sizes didn't live up to the atmosphere. I wish I had a better experience.
Service is fantastic, our waiter was friendly and super helpful with all of our questions. The music is great. And, most importantly, the food is delicious. Their salmon skin Handroll was the best I've ever had. It's crispy but there's also a bit of salmon on there... just perfection. Really loved the other rolls too. The Yuzu Kanpachi was the only one that felt "okay". The A5 Wagyu melted in my mouth. All around, my husband and I just loved this place. Saving it for future visits!

They gave us a complimentary Mango Salmon Carapaccio, which was good. Our servers were attentive to us and did a great job. Other food felt mid to me. Nothing I can't get for cheaper at another restaurant or an AYCE sushi bar. Rolls were generous with rice. My friend said her nori lover set was good, except the eggplant one. I liked my Spicy Tuna roll but did not like the Blue Crab California roll because it tasted like it had a lot of mayonnaise in it. Not pictured was the happy hour Crispy Tuna Rice and Gyoza that I ordered, which was good. I made a reservation via Yelp and at 6:30p it was empty. My friend and I were the only ones inside the restaurant. I would try this place again. I really want to try more of their hand rolls next time instead of their rolls. I do recommend trying this place out for yourself!
I loved my lunch at The Nori! They served up some of best hand rolls I have tried in Las Vegas. We came by on Memorial Day right as it opened. Parking can be limited, but we had no problem. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the staff. The Nori offers many tables and sushi bar seating. After browsing the menu, my husband and I locked in on the Nori Lover Temaki Set and the Blue Crab Rainbow Roll. Billy the sever was personable knowledgeable the whole experience. He was kind enough to throw in another miso soup for us. Once we received everything, my mouth was watering at the looks of it all. My favorites from the Nori were the Blue Crab, Salmon and Miso Eggplant. They were fresh and delicious, I was happy we ordered another item to try! The 5 set is good for 1-2 people. The seaweed is wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh and not soggy. Billy taught us how to remove it properly. The Blue Crab Rainbow Roll was an elevated version of a traditional one. If you're a lover of blue crab, get this roll! Every bite was satisfying. I got full with two pieces left, but I pushed through because they were THAT good! Overall, the hype on The Nori exceeded my expectations. Add this to your list on your next Vegas visit.

What a concept! I love temakis because I don't have to commit to one roll for 8 bites! My best friend and I tried this place and ordered a bit of everything - silken tofu, baked scallops, hamachi crudo, and the following temakis in the order of our faves: 1. Dynamite bay scallop - so good! The sear flavor is 10/10! 2. Unagi - perfect flavor and hits the spot 3. Blue crab - so good and lots of crab 4. Yuzu Hokkaido scallops - so soft and delicious 5. Miso cod - probably the only one we wouldn't get again.. flavor was there but texture was kind of dry The hamachi crudo was one of the best I've had and the silken tofu flavor was amazing unlike anything I've ever had before. Also, I found my all time fave sorbet - yuzu!! So good! Server was very nice and the place was clean. Prices are also reasonable. We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy. I can't wait to come back!

Food is excellent, the service is great, the ambiance is warm and welcoming! They have a bar top and table service. Daily Happy Hour from 2-4pm and 7pm-Close** Definitely a great local handroll spot, off the strip!
The Nori is fresh and crispy, super fun and unique experience. This lunch was also reasonably priced and filling. There's also extra add ons if you are still hungry. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun sushi experience.
Add The Nori to your list of Las Vegas restaurants to visit NOW! I've had them bookmarked for a few months and would come across IG reels highlighting this restaurant. The temaki rolls are what sold us on making time to come here during a recent Vegas trip. The staff Billy was awesome! We were the first customers of the day and he greeted and seated us right away. He is full of personality and full of great hospitality. In our conversations, he mentioned he grew up in the SGV, which built a nice connection for us during this dining experience. Thery are most know for their Temaki options. Their handrolls are placed in a seaweed wrap with two plastics you pull apart as to preserve the freshness and keep the seaweed crisp. The menu offers an array of starters, soups, sashimi, specialty rolls, crudo bar and cut rolls. We ended up ordering "The Nori Lover" temaki set which was 5 pieces and also ordered the Blue Crab Rainbow Roll. Each set comes with a miso soup and Billy even another miso on the house. Once the dishes delivered the aesthetics of the presentation was amazing. It's easy to take great photos when the food already looks great. The freshness in all the Temaki was visually apparent. The Blue Crab Rainbow Roll was on the best options. Anything with blue crab is always appetizing. Every single Temaki was good! You are also given a soy sauce dropper as to now drench each handroll. We had a 5/5 experience during the early lunch hours. When the dishes match what you see online and taste great, you can't help but want to recommend it to others. We would come back again no questions asked. The selections would make you want to try as must as you could handle. The Nori delivered on all it's hype and delivered high quality service! Perfect spot on a scorching Vegas day! We were so happy to find something light and refreshing during happy hour. The hand rolls are the perfect size, super fresh, and the crispy rice is amazing. Delicious and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

So good! We got a variety of temaki rolls for take out and every single one of them was delicious. The Nori Lover set is a good value so long as you like all the flavors in it. Restaurant was quite empty for lunch but clean and relaxing. Service was nice and they had our food ready in reasonable time. Everything was packed well. Will be back for more! read more

Service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. We came in for an early dinner around 6 PM, so the restaurant was still pretty empty. My husband and I both ordered the Nori Lover, and everything was good. The salmon tasted very fresh, and the blue crab was flavorful. But just like the first time we ate here, my favorite was still the eggplant. I also really enjoyed the music. It had such a Gen X vibe, which made the experience even better. The only thing I think could be improved is the rice. It was cold, almost like it came straight from the fridge. I would have preferred it lukewarm. Overall, we had a really nice meal and great service. read more

Came here for my daughter's 10th birthday lunch as she was craving their octopus carpaccio. Unfortunately they were out of it but we ordered so much more and enjoyed everything! This is probably our 6th time coming here and the food and atmosphere is very consistent. I actually discovered this place from order Uber Eats and was super impressed that I felt like it was a necessity to come in person. Since then, my sister and I have been coming to this place if we are ever on this side of town since we literally live on the opposite side of Las Vegas. I can't express how amazing the wait staff and chef were today, I mentioned it being my daughters birthday and they went above and beyond to make this something she will remember, truly an unreasonable hospitality experience. They brought out a desert, appetizer, and another dish on the house because they were out of the octopus carpaccio (no biggie)! Now, I was so into eating our lunch that I didn't get pics of everything we ordered lol! We got Nori lover set (5 different items, all delicious, Salmon mango Carpaccio, hamachi carpaccio, nori crunch roll, half a dozen oysters, pork Kimchee fried rice, uni pasta, and 2 alcoholic beverages (they do not skimp out on the alcohol according to my brother in law, lol)! We came during happy hour from 2-4 so we got to try a bunch of things!! They also gave us an amazing truffle toro dish on the house, literally to die for!! Here's what I would definitely order again: the nori lover set, all the different carpaccios, the uni pasta, oysters, the drinks, and the specialty dish that was on the house! I'm scared to leave a good review because this is going to be my new favorite restaurant and I don't want to have to wait They are known for their temaki which has fresh nori and so many fillings! I LOVE their tofu which is made in house along with their shoyu . . Sooooo soft and fresh!!! Their sushi melts in your mouth and the tori pop was soft and not overcooked. . Nice cozy spot with a large open space. Was greeted immediately and seated by my waiter. They suggested great options on the menu and got the premium temaki set which is affordable for what you get. Sake ikura, Yuzu scallop, spicy tuna, negi Toro, and miso eggplant. They have a cute trashcan as well for for disposables and the soysauce is in a dropper which is fun! read more

I don't want to write a review because I want to keep this place to myself. But wow!! I got items off the happy hour menu ( SO WORTH IT) and regular. Wow, I looked for a seafood tank in the back to explain how fresh the fish was. So many menus in different places. Some hidden at the bar, behind you, or covered by the counter. Good service but we're the only ones there for the great happy hour. Definitely more expensive and significantly higher quality than AYCE places. Left at about $150 for two. Great uni. Quiet atmosphere. I liked the handrolls but they take a little practice to not make a mess. It's like a sushi taco you have to remove the plastic from the taco holder while balancing the ingredients. We came back as a group probably 4 times in a one week period. Lunch and dinner time. All the servers were great. Place is clean. Floor well kept. Light at a good brightness. Loudness is perfect- great for convo but not too loud that youre yelling. This place gets so busy in evenings and weekends but service is so quick, it's a non issue. Billy is the best though. Most hardworking. Attentive. Aware. Personable. Radiates genuine happiness. Efficient. Great attitude. The sushi chef, Jeremy was so nice. (Sorry I meant to write this review last mo but life got in the way). His knife skills. His flavor pairings. Generous portions. Personable. Funny character. Seems to also really enjoy what he does. Came here with friends for Happy Hour on a Friday night and had such a great experience. The service was warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming--they really make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Haejin and Billy are amazing!! The sushi is top-notch. We started with a dozen oysters, seaweed salad, the yuzu snapper crudo (my fav), and the kanpachi crudo--everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. After that, we each ordered hand rolls. We got the blue crab, otoro, miso Hokkaido scallop (my fav), salmon skin, yuzu kanpachi, a5 wagyu, and more-- every single one was delicious. I am usually very selective with my 5 stars but this place well deserved it. The spicy edamame and crab baked mussels were delicious and some of the best we've had. The hand rolls were all delicious and had an abundance of fish in them. Lastly, my son had ramen that could rival some of the better ramen spots we've eaten at. Amazing place. The amount of thought that went into every single dish is astonishing. The miso soup - homemade, shoyu sauce (3 types - homemade), even the thought of keeping the nori still wrapped in plastic to keep the nori crunchy is amazing. Loved this place. Great food, great service, very reasonable pricing. First visit but they treated me like a VIP. Believe the chef was Jerome. I placed order for several of their specialty items. They were all delicious. Jerome brought me another item "on the house" just because he wanted me to try. A friend recommended this place and I can confirm, food was delicious! Fresh fish, good flavors, crispy nori thanks to the wrappers. Happy hour menu was great, they even had saba! Food was delicious all around but favorite hand rolls were the saba, hamachi asparagus, and yuzu kampachi. The yuzu sorbet topped with a light garnish of fresh mint was the perfect way to finish off the meal. We're definitely coming back here. Service was fast and friendly. This was our first time in here and it was a random night after volleyball practice. It was Happy Hour! Happy Hour is from 2p-4p and 7p to close. We had the following: Takoyaki - my daughter loves the takoyaki here and she always gets it anytime and anywhere she sees it on the menu. There was a lot of chunks of octopus in them and it's not all breading. This was my daughter's top item she ate tonight Garlic Uni Pasta - this was my favorite for the night! The Happy hour size was the perfect serving for my daughter and I to share. It was delicious. It was creamy, savory, and a little spicy. It was an explosion of flavors all in one dish! 1/2 dozen oysters - ALWAYS A HIT! it was super fresh Spicy tuna hand roll - my daughter said it was good but mediocre in comparison to the Uni Yuzu Scallop Hand Roll...which was definitely worth getting. Uni Yuzu Scallop Hand Roll - our favorite Hand roll for the night. I'd have this again! Another burst of flavor between the masago, yuzu, Uni, and scallops¡ Nego Toro Hand Roll - this was delicious! I love ang negitoro rolls I eat, but this one was so fresh. I would get this again. Yuzu Ice Cream - I love yuzu everything and the yuzu flavor in this ice cream is strong and I love it! Everything is prepared at the same counter
When is there best time to go? I want to avoid a long wait
I went in at 11:30 and there were 3 parties including ours. I'd say before 1:30.
