I am usually very selective with my 5 stars but this place well deserved it. The spicy edamame and crab baked mussels were delicious and some of the best we've had. The hand rolls were all delicious and had an abundance of fish in them. Lastly, my son had ramen that could rival some of the better ramen spots we've eaten at. All in all, this was a great experience not to be missed.
The hand rolls for 8/10 Service was great. Ambiance didn't give off like an Asian vibe. Felt like I was at a PTs bar or something lol but it's ok if u want to stop by for some hand rolls! We have negi halibut, truffle salmon (twice!, my bf rlly liked the truffle), spicy tuna, negi toro (my fav!), yuzu scallop (also my fav!), salmon spicy (not spicy).
This was our first time in here and it was a random night after volleyball practice. It was Happy Hour! Happy Hour is from 2p-4p and 7p to close. We had the following: Takoyaki - my daughter loves the takoyaki here and she always gets it anytime and anywhere she sees it on the menu. There was a lot of chunks of octopus in them and it's not all breading. This was my daughter's top item she ate tonight Garlic Uni Pasta - this was my favorite for the night! The Happy hour size was the perfect serving for my daughter and I to share. It was delicious. It was creamy, savory, and a little spicy. It was an explosion of flavors all in one dish! 1/2 dozen oysters - ALWAYS A HIT! it was super fresh Spicy tuna hand roll - my daughter said it was good but mediocre in comparison to the Uni Yuzu Scallop Hand Roll...which was definitely worth getting. Uni Yuzu Scallop Hand Roll - our favorite Hand roll for the night. I'd have this again! Another burst of flavor between the masago, yuzu, Uni, and scallops¡ Nego Toro Hand Roll - this was delicious! I love ang negitoro rolls I eat, but this one was so fresh. I would get this again. Yuzu Ice Cream - I love yuzu everything and the yuzu flavor in this ice cream is strong and I love it! I will come here again! Their Happy Hour items are the best!
Add The Nori to your list of Las Vegas restaurants to visit NOW! I've had them bookmarked for a few months and would come across IG reels highlighting this restaurant. The temaki rolls are what sold us on making time to come here during a recent Vegas trip. The staff Billy was awesome! We were the first customers of the day and he greeted and seated us right away. He is full of personality and full of great hospitality. In our conversations, he mentioned he grew up in the SGV, which built a nice connection for us during this dining experience. Thery are most know for their Temaki options. Their handrolls are placed in a seaweed wrap with two plastics you pull apart as to preserve the freshness and keep the seaweed crisp. The menu offers an array of starters, soups, sashimi, specialty rolls, crudo bar and cut rolls. We ended up ordering "The Nori Lover" temaki set which was 5 pieces and also ordered the Blue Crab Rainbow Roll. Each set comes with a miso soup and Billy even another miso on the house. Once the dishes delivered the aesthetics of the presentation was amazing. It's easy to take great photos when the food already looks great. The freshness in all the Temaki was visually apparent. The Blue Crab Rainbow Roll was on the best options. Anything with blue crab is always appetizing. Every single Temaki was good! You are also given a soy sauce dropper as to now drench each handroll. We had a 5/5 experience during the early lunch hours. When the dishes match what you see online and taste great, you can't help but want to recommend it to others. We would come back again no questions asked. The selections would make you want to try as must as you could handle. The Nori delivered on all it's hype and delivered high quality service! Service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. We came in for an early dinner around 6 PM, so the restaurant was still pretty empty. My husband and I both ordered the Nori Lover, and everything was good. The salmon tasted very fresh, and the blue crab was flavorful. But just like the first time we ate here, my favorite was still the eggplant. I also really enjoyed the music. It had such a Gen X vibe, which made the experience even better. The only thing I think could be improved is the rice. It was cold, almost like it came straight from the fridge. I would have preferred it lukewarm. Overall, we had a really nice meal and great service.

I actually discovered this place from order Uber Eats and was super impressed that I felt like it was a necessity to come in person. Since then, my sister and I have been coming to this place if we are ever on this side of town since we literally live on the opposite side of Las Vegas. I can't express how amazing the wait staff and chef were today, I mentioned it being my daughters birthday and they went above and beyond to make this something she will remember, truly an unreasonable hospitality experience. They brought out a desert, appetizer, and another dish on the house because they were out of the octopus carpaccio (no biggie)! Now, I was so into eating our lunch that I didn't get pics of everything we ordered lol! We got Nori lover set (5 different items, all delicious, Salmon mango Carpaccio, hamachi carpaccio, nori crunch roll, half a dozen oysters, pork Kimchee fried rice, uni pasta, and 2 alcoholic beverages (they do not skimp out on the alcohol according to my brother in law, lol)! We came during happy hour from 2-4 so we got to try a bunch of things!! They also gave us an amazing truffle toro dish on the house, literally to die for!! Here's what I would definitely order again: the nori lover set, all the different carpaccios, the uni pasta, oysters, the drinks, and the specialty dish that was on the house! Nice cozy spot with a large open space. Was greeted immediately and seated by my waiter. They suggested great options on the menu and got the premium temaki set which is affordable for what you get. Sake ikura, Yuzu scallop, spicy tuna, negi Toro, and miso eggplant. They have a cute trashcan as well for for disposables and the soysauce is in a dropper which is fun!
Wow, I looked for a seafood tank in the back to explain how fresh the fish was. So many menus in different places. Some hidden at the bar, behind you, or covered by the counter. Good service but we're the only ones there for the great happy hour. Definitely more expensive and significantly higher quality than AYCE places. Left at about $150 for two. Great uni. Quiet atmosphere. I liked the handrolls but they take a little practice to not make a mess. It's like a sushi taco you have to remove the plastic from the taco holder while balancing the ingredients. Fun times and will return.
Amazing place. The amount of thought that went into every single dish is astonishing. The miso soup - homemade, shoyu sauce (3 types - homemade), even the thought of keeping the nori still wrapped in plastic to keep the nori crunchy is amazing. The fish was of also good quality and overall was truly impressed with the place. Will definitely come again. The server even made a mocktail for my aunty because they didn't have any on the menu.
We came for the Happy Hour on a Monday and had a great meal here! My boyfriend and I ordered: UNI yuzu scallop Half dozen oysters Brussels sprouts Garlic tuna Spicy tuna Yuzu scallop Truffle toro Blue crab Salmon spicy Negitoro Hamachi kama Omgosh everything was so delish we smashed everything together and did not have leftovers. My favorite is the yuzu scallop we got 3 of those! Also worth mentioning is the hamachi kama which tasted like butter!!! If you like cooked white fish then this will be up your alley. Diego was our server and he was so attentive to us. Billy was kind enough to offer us some free miso soup as it was the end of the night for them. The ambiance is nice and quiet, it was cold and they turned off the fan for me. I'd definitely come back here again!
We came back as a group probably 4 times in a one week period. Lunch and dinner time. All the servers were great. Place is clean. Floor well kept. Light at a good brightness. Loudness is perfect- great for convo but not too loud that youre yelling. This place gets so busy in evenings and weekends but service is so quick, it's a non issue. Billy is the best though. Most hardworking. Attentive. Aware. Personable. Radiates genuine happiness. Efficient. Great attitude. The sushi chef, Jeremy was so nice. (Sorry I meant to write this review last mo but life got in the way). His knife skills. His flavor pairings. Generous portions. Personable. Funny character. Seems to also really enjoy what he does. I wanna gatekeep so bad bc youre my favorite in vegas. I wanna keep yall to myself. but yall are just so good, I cant help but tell everyone about yall Cant wait to see yall again!! Billy is a madman. We came in with a 20 top thinking they closed late. They closed in 20 mins and Billy and the owner said screw it let's do it. They didn't rush us, make us feel bad. Everything came out quick and the late night happy hour is awesome. The owner and Billy always welcome us now every time. Sometimes surprising us with free yuzu sorbet (amazing btw) and free miso soup. It's never expected but always appreciated. This has become are spot when we are in town. I know it's weird but try the eggplant hand roll. It's so random but seriously one of the best things on the menu. read more

Daily HAPPY HOUR!!!! They only have only HH deals on food and not drinks. In order of my favorite would be the negi otoro, hamachi carpaccio, popcorn chicken, uni shooter, hamachi kama and oysters. I'm more of a fan of the smaller oysters. Overall food was great and so was service. read more

If you're looking for a handroll place try The Nori! We got the Nori Lover Set which included salmon, spicy tuna, crab, shrimp tempura, and eggplant. Everything was so yummy, and surprisingly I really enjoyed the eggplant handroll! Would definitely come back to try the premium set :) read more

Came here with friends for Happy Hour on a Friday night and had such a great experience. The service was warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming--they really make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Haejin and Billy are amazing!! The sushi is top-notch. We started with a dozen oysters, seaweed salad, the yuzu snapper crudo (my fav), and the kanpachi crudo--everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. After that, we each ordered hand rolls. We got the blue crab, otoro, miso Hokkaido scallop (my fav), salmon skin, yuzu kanpachi, a5 wagyu, and more-- every single one was delicious. The Nori lover was absolutely fire. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality. Great atmosphere for a night out or casual dinner. This is always my go to spot in town if I'm craving handrolls! Their quality is top notch and service is very kind and attentive. My favorite handroll is definitely the miso eggplant, you can't skip that if you're here. Their menu is quite vast and there's a little of everything... handrolls, regular rolls, temaki, bowls, crudo, and tapas! Happy hour has great options as well. Amazing service and delicious food. We came for their happy hour and they have a lot of great deals. The staff are all really friendly and quick on delivering our food. We ordered the blue crab, spicy octopus, and spicy tuna hand rolls along with the salmon Kama. All were delicious!! I loved how they came on wrapped seaweed to maintain the freshness and crispiness of the seaweed. The place is very clean and pretty inside. The bathroom is very clean too. They have a bar top and good amount of tables for small groups. I liked how the soy sauce comes in a pipet to pour your soy sauce. Can't wait to come back and try more items. read more

Wow, WoW, WOW!! 5/5!! I've been sleeping on THE NORI for far too long!! Finally made it out on a Friday night to check out their daily Happy Hour menu from 7pm to closing (also from 2-4pm). You MUST start off with their draft Asahi. A nice, icy treat that'll complement your meal and stay chilled throughout your stay. I paired my beverage with The Nori Lover: Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Blue Crab, Shrimp Tempura, and Miso Eggplant. Plus, the Yuzu Scallop. OMG!! Highly recommend these options. I would rank the eggplant, blue crab, and scallop as my top favorites, but really, you can't go wrong with any. YUM!! We shared the spicy edamame, Garlic Uni Pasta, Mango Salmon Carpaccio and 1/2 dozen Oysters. Our party of three demolished everything!!! Let's talk about the next best thing...Service!! I have not been met with a more cheery, efficient, and friendly wait staff. Excellent management and kudos to the kitchen for the wonderful preparation and fresh flavors. I cannot wait to return. We finally got around to stopping by The Nori, I'm shocked it took us this long! This spot is a total gem. The handrolls come out fast and fresh, they even keep the nori wrapped until you're ready to eat it! Everything we had was a total hit, especially because the brussels sprouts are vegetarian!!! The service was just as impressive, our waitress was super friendly & genuinely helpful with recommendations for our first time. Definitely one of our go to spots from now on. read more

I came during their happy hour around 7pm and it wasn't too packed yet but ppl started rolling in. I was comparing the menu prices w the happy hour and it was only about $1 cheaper for most items. The service was quick and very friendly. The servers were very attentive. The place was dimly lit and gave date night vibes. Food: I think the salmon was not good. Anything with salmon, it didn't taste fresh and the mango salmon carpaccio piece I had first was very chewy?? It was rly weird. 2/10. Spicy salmon handroll 4/10: the salmon was not fresh and tasted fishy. I wouldn't order this again. Spicy tuna handroll 7/10: this one was was not fishy and was def better than the salmon Yuzu scallop 9/10: this one was the best one out of all the ones I've tried. It was fresh and the yuzu made have a good zest. Blue crab 8/10: this one was solid. Perfect mixture of mayo and crab. Brussel sprouts 10/10: super flavorful and was not burnt like how most places have it Spicy tuna rice 10/10: this one was also pretty good and flavorful. I ordered another one of this actually! I'm scared to leave a good review because this is going to be my new favorite restaurant and I don't want to have to wait They are known for their temaki which has fresh nori and so many fillings! I LOVE their tofu which is made in house along with their shoyu . . Sooooo soft and fresh!!! Their sushi melts in your mouth and the tori pop was soft and not overcooked. . Spacious, lively, and surprisingly satisfying. This Japanese restaurant, run by a Korean team, has a great energy from the moment you walk in. The space is large with comfortable seating, so it doesn't feel cramped even during busy hours. Service was attentive and smooth throughout--nothing over the top, just consistently solid. Food-wise, portions are generous across the board. The steak stood out--chewy yet tender in a way that actually works, with a nice, satisfying bite. Sushi rolls were also much bigger than expected, so you definitely get good value here. Overall, a well-rounded spot with a good vibe, solid service, and hearty portions. Service is good but food is not. Miso soup is on the house but just salty, there is no dashi in it. The rice for the folks was mushy. The salmon ikura was good. The miso eggplant was bitter. The yuzu scallops were sugary sweet. It is served with the nori in the plastic which is cute but you rip the nori easily until you get used to it. I saw this place on instagram and it looked good but my experience was sad. I won't be back. read more

Came here after EDC and it was exactly what we needed. The vibes were great. Chill atmosphere, good energy, and surprisingly no wait even though we showed up close to closing. Huge shoutout to the server for being super accommodating and still giving great service without making us feel rushed at all. The temaki hand rolls looked fresh, flavorful, and seems like it'll hit the spot after a long night. Happy hour prices were also pretty reasonable, especially for the quality and portions. Definitely a good sushi stop if you want something satisfying without spending a crazy amount. Would come back again after a festival night for sure. read more

When is there best time to go? I want to avoid a long wait
I went in at 11:30 and there were 3 parties including ours. I'd say before 1:30.
