Great food! I get takeout once a week! I usually get the drunken noodles or pad de ew and both are delicious.

I discovered Shucks Maine Lobster at my local Longs Drug freezer on Maui…read more Every now and then, Longs emails out a 40% off any one item coupon. Naturally, I look for something I like that's pricey so I can maximize it's use. As I was browsing the freezer section, my eyes locked on their twin pack of lobster tails. Ringing in at $20, they were the perfect item to redeem my coupon on. The box contains two tails, shrink-wrapped, with a total weight of 8 or 9 ounces so they're not that big. Simple directions offer three different cooking styles of grilled, baked and steamed. I did the baked version which came out great. I thawed the tails, snipped the tops lengthwise with scissors, separated the shell while keeping the meat inside, salted, buttered and baked them. OMG, they were absolutely delish! Firm, crunchy, fresh-tasting. I pan-fried a NY steak with a side of baked potato and was in heaven. And like their trademark "Easy-Shuck" slogan states, they popped out clean and easily from the shell. Why overpay for a lobster tail when you can easily make some at home for way less? Wild-caught too. Highly recommended!

I don't know what dark arts are involved in shucking the meat perfectly out of the shell raw but it let's you cook it like a normal protein instead of just boiling a lobster. It might not seem like much but it's a MASSIVE difference. It's tender and sweet and you don't have carcasses to dispose of. You'll always remember where you were the first time you've tried this lobster

They are a cash only operation but they do have a small ATM built-in into the trailer. It's a gravel parking lot with picnic tables. There is a porta potty on site as well. They serve a variety of fried food and seafood. Along with several sandwich options. They have a sign on the trailer that explains it's not fast food. We were the fourth order in queue and it took about 20 minutes to get our order. That was reasonable, in my opinion. Our food was tasty and hot!! They don't season their French fries but you can use their salt, pepper & seasoning shakers at the window. There is no covered seating so if it's raining, one would likely stay in their vehicle to eat. There was a steady stream of customers placing orders We can't wait to go back!!!

Best part was she had gluten free bread and non dairy ice cream. Got the crab roll on gluten free bread was really good lots of crabmeat any only $15. We also got a ham Italian which was really good size with fresh pickles. The small French fries were a generous portion. At the suggestion of the owner we ordered the homemade pickle buttons which were the best! lightly battered with a delicious "secret sauce " Lots of choices on the menu for such a small place. Definitely want to return for some ice cream and pie or crumble. Really enjoyed chatting with the owner Lots of picnic tables and a huge bonfire pit

The lobster roll kit arrived well-packed, very cold, not frozen (we appreciated that the rolls were not refrigerated) tasted sweet and fresh, had ample perfectly cooked lobster, and a great mix of tails, claws, and knuckles. It tasted as though it had just come off the boat. and made a truly memorable meal. There is no wonder it has been rated as the best lobster roll in Maine. It was worth every penny.

It's a very nice area with water front, outdoor chairs and tables. Parkings are available at the site. Once we got there we went up to see place our order. They have an ice-cream shop next door, bathroom and hand washing area as well. We ordered their lobster roll and clam chowder. Once we ordered we grabbed one of the seat and waited for our order to arrive. Within 5minutes or so our order came out and waitress brought them to our table. Lobster roll came with side of mayo, butter, coleslaw and cape cod chips. Coleslaw and cape cod chips were nothing special. The lobster roll was pretty good. Lobster itself has faintly sweet flavor and was good without any butter or mayo. The bread was toasted well with lots of butter. Lobster roll was delicious. Clam chowder was pretty goof as well. Came with oyster crackers that you mix up which is standard. Good flavor. Service was good and fast. They do have some napkins and water self serve. Seats and tables were bit sticky so had to use some napkins to clean. Overall i liked the place. Quality and fresh lobster roll that is flavorful and not overwhelming with condiments. Clam chowder was good but i've had similar quality ones back in RI where i'm from. Price was ok i about $30 for one small ish lobster roll which is standard nowadays. If you want good lobster roll this is the place
