Even if you're just going up and down the main drag or boardwalk, I'd recommend renting from here, rather than a place directly on the boardwalk. You'll have more flexibility at a better price. It was super easy to rent the bikes and the gentleman there got us all set up with the tire inflation, seat positioning, and locks (for securing the bikes while not in use). The price was right and while the bikes weren't anything fancy, they got the job done. I was actually pretty surprised they worked as smoothly as they did, considering the inevitable rust that accumulates on every bike chain out there. Bike rentals aren't actually this place's bread and butter. They have a large number of locations up and down Ocean City and I think the bulk of their business comes from chair and umbrella rentals. I hope they keep the bikes going though because it's convenient and a little extra revenue never hurts.

We rented a powered wheelchair from these folks for my mother-in-law to use to get to, and move around on, Bethany Beach in Delaware, and I am extremely happy with the overall experience. Booking and rental is very easy via their website at ocwheelchairs.com. Nick delivered and picked up the wheelchair as scheduled and gave a very simple, yet thorough overview on how to use the chair and charge its batteries. The chair has fat tires for use in the sand and has a comfortable seat which can be accessed from the front or from the side if you flip up the arms. The chair is easy to use with a joy stick controller, and it stops automatically when you release the handle for safety. For a couple of tight spots, I simply operated the controller while walking next to her, but she handled the rest. The whole process was very simple and just made my mother-in-law's trip. Without this wheelchair she would not have been able to get up on the beach with her family and the vacation just would not have been the same. If you have elderly, or other family members who have difficulty walking, this is a great way to make sure they don't miss any of the fun.

Per their web page the weekly rental was listed as $350. The reservation and delivery address was done over the phone. The mat was delivered on time. There were no issues with the rental until I noticed that my charge card was charged $500. Upon questioning why the price was $500. They told me that the web page was in error, the price had increased, and the web page was being updated. (Yes my error, I never confirmed with them that the price was as documented in their webpage) It is now almost 3 months later and their webpage still indicates a price of $350 for a week rental of a 6x12 mat. If you must do business with them be careful of getting the price in writing before agreeing to anything.
