I came from California to visit family. This shop had my vehicle for 3 weeks to replace a master cylinder and booster. The first booster they claimed was bad then they said the brake light came on and couldn't get it off then told me I could take the car with the brake light on its safe to drive I refused everytime I called thjey kept saying its a sensor 3 diferent times, then the said the cluster was bad needed a new one I got one they said they didn't need one after all, then said it was a brake pump again false, like the sensors and cluster then said i need a brake module didn't need that either (my car has always been well cared for) all this I didn't need I asked them 3x if they can't fix it take it to the dealership they refused my requests..it just was an on going horrible situation lies after lies promises they never kept. Claim they have AES certified technicians a real unprofessional shop  Please do not attempt to go here find another place to do bussiness they are a disgrace to the automotive industry No one would send a vehicle out the door with a brake light on saying its safe. They spent 3 weeks guessing how to get the brake light off the light was not on when I brought it there nor has it ever come on. Then once I got it it back I had to leave for California notice my dash was not put on correctly 6 loose screws on the floor and the carpet and head rest had grease all over it the small control panel on the arm rest of the drivers door was popped out from slamming the door over and over again this company can not be trusted. In my opinion they do not have AES certified mechanics as  advertised lie and fraudulent advertising.. BY PASS THIS COMPANY AND GO ELSEWHERE not trustworthy at all. They do not deserve any stars. I found Sun Devil Auto after two other estimates were extremely high and one place added a second problem with my car that I knew was incorrect. I was so surprised by the honesty as they diagnosed a small problem that was so much cheaper and fixed my car. I knew I found the right repair shop. The second time I needed my car fixed due to engine light being on, I called and spoke with Matt. He took his time explaining possible problems, extremely polite and professional. Taking his advise, with my car off, I open and closed the gas tank lid and drove 5 miles as suggested. Of course he was correct and the engine light turned off. Matt saved me money and his honesty blew my mind because they could have brought my car in for service. As a woman I always fear being taken advantage of when it comes to cars! I called on a Saturday evening to get my cars AC refilled after working on it all day. I was told that they had time to fill it that day. My AC did not get filled that day. Not because they lied. Not because hey didn't have time. But because when I came in, Shane asked me questions about my install. It appeared that I had forgotten a crucial step, and recharging the AC would void all of the work I did. They could've filled it that day, not asked questions, and probably made more money a couple weeks later when I had to replace my compressor again and have them fill it again. While I was in the lobby waiting, I overheard another interaction with Shane and a customer. He offered advice, and helped the customer in purchasing items from another store. I appreciated Shane showing interest in my install in order to make sure things got done correctly. He saved me a ton of money and time! read more

well after looking at reviews i still went there the manger on duty was very honest and let me know why i had a check engine light on and didn't even charge me for the check, they were very quick with pulling my car in and having a answer which i like. i used to go to the dealer and it would take hours to just have them bring it in. on the other note to the people that had issues with this place i'm sorry to you but these people are very honest. o btw to male jaime s sounds like they were trying to repair your cat the proper way by replacing the part the right way. you cant go to a shoe store and ask them to fix your heel there going to sale you new shoes . you go to a shoe repair shop to have it fix,... well these people are great and honest thank you sun devil auto team on 4322 w thunder bird read more

It is true, someone did reach out to me. He wanted my review removed. He stated that he would give me a free diagnosis on my next vehicle. After what this shop and its inept employees did to me, how can I still have trust, or one ounce of faith? I wouldn't give them a second chance to do me dirty, when absolutely nothing was done to right a wrong, a diagnosis on another vehicle is hardly what anyone would consider adequate. I have as 2008 Frontier and would gladly delete my reviews if they were to address flashing airbag light, the sensor that has my check engine light on, the faulty low tire warning light, and or tell me why my cruise control is not operational, with a reasonable quote to repair. Or I can just update this review every few months for the next few decades. read more

I do the majority of my car maintenance myself. After replacing my radiator coolant, my AC compressor wouldn't come on. I checked fuses and all were good. I was at my wits end during record heat here in Phoenix in June. I called a couple of shops I know and they wanted me to leave the car with them for a couple days. A friend recommended Sun Devil and they got me right in. They found that I had inadvertently worked the compressor electrical connector loose by bumping my hand into it several times while opening the radiator drain valve. They secured the connector and did a complete AC system inspection free of charge. The tech Scott and service advisor Shane were great! I HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

John the manager and Scott the assistant manager looked at the situation and made corrections that needed to be made. Let me know what was going to be repaired and price range.
