    We took a 2018 Hyundai into Sun Devil for a pre purchase diagnosis check ...the team got us right in, did the work while we waited...and were awesome! We will be back for regular maintenance. Honest, affordable and high quality.

    I'm aware that whenever I take my car into be serviced I can expect a certain level of upselling or overpricing but when I took my car in for an oil change and asked for a simple quote on replacing 1 specific part (that I knew was the cause of my engine light to be on) the guy at the front desk tried telling me I had "Like 30 error codes and all roads lead to a needing a new transmission." When we asked for a print off of all the codes he handed us some bogus handwritten list with 10 codes on it, and its questionable if that was even the diagnostic from my car. I've since fixed the engine light issue at Aamco and didn't need a new transmission after all. I felt the need to post a negative review because of the sheer audacity this place had to try and rip me off. I'd highly recommend not getting your car worked on here but at the very least get a second opinion. These dudes are in the business of being sleazy mechanics.

    First time at Sun Devil Auto, walk in for a high mileage oil change. Super busy, and said they would work me in. It was fast, friendly and affordable! Thanks Andre and team for the incredible experience!!! Also, to Yelp for the $5.00 coupon that I used right away!!

    This is the bill I got after all that, so they did do something with the ac compressor control relay which I didn't know about

    ZERO. SCAM PLACE. To sum it up, Charged me 225$ for a battery, fine I needed one and with a 5 year warranty so I agreed. Then the next morning I couldn't even unlock my doors it was so dead. They said they were going to towe it over to them that day and then it didn't happen. I call and there was an "email" problem so they'll towe it the next morning. It's the next day at 9:30am my trucks still there, so I call again and they say the towe guys on his way. Now at 11, the towe guy calls me and can't find my car... The number to my townhouse is in my address... then he calls me at 1 and can't find my keys, so I walk him thru it again. I got no calls for the rest of the day and I call at 4:30pm to ask about if it got there and if it was looked at yet and James says "oh no one called and told you what was going on with it?" , I say no and he transfers me to Chris. I say that I'm a little upset now because idk where my car even is and what's been done to it so I told them to just stop working on it. So he HANGS UP ON ME and says to "call back later then". So now I'm super upset, I get there after work at 5 and ask them where my car is at and a print out of what they've done on it so far. James said he doesn't have any info on my vehicle then proceeds to try and charge me for a new ac compressor control (as on the bill) they put in WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AT ALL. I said so you did do something to it.. He gave me the keys and said "I gave you your keys back though right?" then told me to not come back even tho I paid for a 5 year warrantied battery I just got from them. DO NOT GO HERE. JERKS!!! I wasn't even upset until they hung up on me and started bullshitting me around. Not cool!

I purchased four tires for my Ford Transit work van and trusted their recommendation, assuming they were providing the correct tires for the vehicle. Less than a year later, one of the tires began splitting. I took the van to another shop that was closer because I did not feel safe driving all the way back to their shop. It was at the new shop where I was informed that the tires installed on my van were not properly rated to handle the weight of the vehicle and should not have been installed in the first place. I contacted Christian Brothers to explain the situation and was told I would need to drive the van back to their shop -- despite the damaged tire -- for them to determine whether anything would be covered under warranty. While I was getting the quote elsewhere to replace all four tires, Christian Brothers called back and offered a slightly lower price if I purchased another full set through them. In the end, the difference was only about $100 compared to the other shop. A shop I had never even used before, and that was the cost with no additional warranties or discounts (like Christian Brothers was claiming to be giving me). They stated they were giving me tires at cost and not charging for labor, not true. They tried to make it seem like they were doing me some huge favor by giving me such a small discount. Their front desk employee, Eric was as "helpful" as he could be throughout the process, but overall should have pushed harder with his upper management to resolve this. They should have completely comped the price of the old tires as this was their, dangerous mistake. Now they're not only making money off of me but also causing me to lose additional money by missing work to fix a problem they caused. I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially considering the original tires that they chose were improper for a work van like mine. All of this resulted in me needing to purchase two sets of tires within a single year!!! I expressed to them that being without my van would result in loss of money as it is my work vehicle. They had no concern for my time, money and no sense of urgency to resolve the situation that they caused. I had to leave my vehicle with them for more than a day the first time and again overnight the second time. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

    I had a great experience with this mobile mechanic. He came out to me and replaced my A/C…read morecompressor, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

    I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
