A few weeks, after she left, the necklace broke and i lost it. I was heartbroken. I emailed the store to see if I could purchase another one. They didn't have any in stock. I called and explained the situation to Kate about my daughter reuniting with me, military service, and my daughter's father's part in keeping her away from me. Kate not only got the necklace ordered for me, but refused to let me pay for it. Kate was disappointed that the necklace had broke and realized how much the necklace meant to me. Street parking but we never really have any trouble finding a spot. The trail itself is an easy flat path made up of mostly dirt and gravel. We generally start from the farthest west trail entrance and make our way to the North McCoy Trail that ends with a nice little lookout point. From there and back is just about a mile but there are longer trails you can take if you're up for it. And if you're into birding, there are a number of different types you can come across in this coastal wetland so be sure to bring your binoculars.

Visitor center has an exhibition to learn about the Estuary, gift shop, ranger on duty, bird books you can borrow, restrooms and water fountain available. Ranger on duty today was super helpful and kind. She shared with me that the Clapper Raill could be seen here and gave me directions to take N McCoy trail and this was where I would most likely see this Rail, which is unique to this Estuary! I was pretty excited about that, however, since I came in the early afternoon. I did not spot one. Oh well, this means I have to come back! After this, I tackled S McCoy trail, which is a longer trail but when you come to the end of it, it where three water ways meet and this was amazing as so many birds were here. I got to see egrets, Willets and also some long billed curlews! Curlews have a very long beak and they are pretty striking birds! Wow! The path is well paved, flat and plenty of benches along the way. Great for a hike, bring your dog, come for a run, come for birding, enjoy a healthy dose of nature! No shade here so make sure to put on sunscreen and bring water. Overall, a lovely place to visit, definitely come check it out if you like nature and birds.

SERIOUS TOWING DISPUTE -- ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE & VEHICLE DAMAGE…read more On August 28, 2026, my vehicle was towed by Western Towing from a designated accessible parking space at Las Americas Premium Outlets while a valid disabled placard was prominently displayed. I dispute the basis and circumstances of the tow. The written tow authorization provided to me identifies the alleged violation as "WALK-OFF, NON-CUSTOMER." After recovering my vehicle, I identified damage that I believe occurred in connection with the towing incident, including damage to the front lower bumper and my dashcam. I have preserved photographs, records, and other documentation relating to the vehicle's condition and the incident. I paid the $285 towing charge under protest in order to recover my vehicle, and I documented my dispute on the paperwork. Formal complaints concerning this incident have been submitted to appropriate agencies and organizations. Las Americas Premium Outlets management has also confirmed to me in writing that video footage and documentation of the incident have been preserved. Western Towing has referred the matter to corporate counsel, who has acknowledged my evidence-preservation request. The legality of the tow, responsibility for the claimed vehicle damage, and other issues remain disputed. I am limiting this review to my personal experience and facts supported by records currently available to me. I will update the review if the matter is resolved or additional verified information becomes available.
