Don't get me wrong it's a great place for fragrances at a decent price. Although they have a variety to select from their more luxurious options are very limited; the ones they do have are often repeated. I just wish they put in as much effort into obtaining fragrance such as maison francis kurkdjian (other than Baccarat). They do have Parfume de Marley I'll give you credit but I just think if you put more into the luxurious fragrances as you do with Armaf. You'd get some more customers who actually know the game of fragrances. But for now awesome perfumes has you beat in that department. read more

Very bad experience, I bought a men's perfume, I came home and took out the perfume and there was nothing, the container was empty, I called the store and they told me that I did have the receipt and I told them that I did return to the store the same day that I made the purchase and they didn't want to solve it, the managers or owners, I don't know, came out to say that that perfume wasn't theirs and that they couldn't do anything when it was clearly theirs. I bought it there and had a note, date and time of when I made the purchase. purchase I was talking to them for about 1 hour and they did not solve anything nor did they return my money, they scammed me and took my money 60 dollars, adding that they took my time and my energy in the discussion saying that I was a liar I am very disappointed about this place I don't recommend it, they are very rude people read more

They used to be good years ago, but recently I've purchased some colognes that smell completely different from the original scent, which tells me without a doubt that they are "fake". Yes fake, I've used these colognes for over 30 years now & I know the difference between the original to a fraudulent item. Either the owner needs to have much better quality control as to the perfumes they are selling to innocent customers, or they should be shut down for selling fake fragrances. read more

They are friendly people. They carry a wide selection of fragrances. They may not carry some of the higher end fragrances but the selection is wide enough that you should be able to find something you like. A great place during the holidays especially if you on a busy schedule. Go to one store and knockout a good portion of your gifts. They even carry gift packages that have body wash with the fragrance. Parking could be better. read more

Too bad I can't give this place ZERO stars. That's what they deserve. They sell crappy fake cheap perfumes that they probably import from China and resell. Cheap china crap. That's what it is. Went to return a Fake perfume that smelled like nothing but ALCOHOL. Had no scent at all. No Bergamot, no pear, no lavender. No nothing. Smelled cheap and nasty just like the owner. Who by the way was super rude and condescending. He had a disgusting attitude. He swore like he's running a top of the line business. With the type of disgusting service this place has, I'm surprised they have been open this long. The whole place is a shit show, including the non English speaking, rude, joke of workers. In the end, I still got my money back and went to buy a REAL brand new perfume at Ulta that actually smelled Delicious and REAL. The way it was suppose to. Not worth the $8-$10 difference. read more

I had a great experience the first time I came to this store. The employees were very nice and helpful. However, the second time I came (which was waayyyyy less busy than the first) they took a long time to ask me if I needed help, and were helping other people who came after me. I'm not sure if the person who "helped" me was prejudice or not, but it was not the same good energy as the first time that I came. I was treated poorly by everyone except the person who rang me up. This place is a joke. I bought my wife a Gucci Bloom here but it wasn't a pleasant experience. First off, they cater to the Tijuana crowd that export these fragrances (most of the time illegally) to Mexico. If you're looking for a fragrance for yourself or a loved one you're better off going to a dept. store. Here's why... They are "wholesale", they will slap on an extra percentage as a "tariff" for anything bought retail. I did the math and this place is still cheaper, though not by much. I asked to smell a perfume and the employee handed me the perfume cap! I asked her again and she handed me a perfume strip with the perfume. I put it on my skin, it smelled like the real thing but after 30 seconds the smell changed into talcum/baby powder! I asked if she could spray it on my skin and she refused. I found it kind of shady...like they know if customers spray it on themselves they'll know 100% that they aren't authentic. Maybe expired fragrances? Not too sure but something was definitely off when I smelled that Viva la Juicy. read more

I'm upset that I barely found out about this place but so happy at the same time! I usually would not even go into these type of perfume stores because I think their products aren't genuine but this place is legit! They have tons of designer perfume and cologne, not just the "fan" types the other review stated. GUCCI, BURBERRY, VERSACE, MARC JACOBS, etc! Last year I bought one of the versace colognes at Macys for over $80.00.. they had that here for $29.00! I brought in my bottles from Macy's to compare, they have there originality and proof of everything as apose to the other perfume place in that same plaza. They treat every customer the same whether you are buying one perfume or 100 & they give a discount of $10 for every $100 you spend. The prices are good but the sales people are horrible!!!!! They are very impatient and get irritated easily. But when I am saving 45% on my favorite perfume I just grin and bear it. Not all perfumes are this deeply discounted but their prices are the best in town. I don't know of any other place in the San Diego area for deals like these. The staff is not cordial at all, the store has a schedule in the door that reads that the store is open from 10 am to 4 pm. Do not be fooled, they lock the door at 3:45 pm and won't let you in. This place is a robbery! They sell FAKE perfumes! I am a postdoc (PhD) who decided to test their junk in my lab at UCSD. I bough 1 perfume from them, the same one from Macy's, and the same one from Nordstrom and ran it through IR (infrared spectroscopy) in a billion dollar lab (allow me to remind you). What do you know? The perfumes from Macy's and Nordstrom gave the same exact reading, but the one from this place gave an entirely different reading... Or, different functional groups and chemical structure which is indicative that it is NOT THE SAME perfume, formula, or structure. If you alter either the formula or the structure, it might smell the same but it can be harmful/toxic and u wouldn't even know it. read more

I had a very bad experience with one of the cashiers, and of course no name on the receipt (only clerk #5 @ 1:15 pm, receipt information) extremely rude women, I came with my sister in to the store, we were together all time looking around for more then 1 hour until we were at the register together and very rude cashier told me harry up because there other customers waiting on line, (I said, excuse me I am here like everybody else purchasing not asking for free items) besides I had to wait for them to bring me my perfumes with no complains, then she told my sister in a very rude tone, ("besides you have to be 6 ft apart I cant have you together"). I did complained to someone about the incident and I only got "I am sorry". I called the store several times to speak to management with no luck, they answer the phone after long time and put you on hold for a very long time until you give up. Someone needs to pay attention to your employees not just because this cashier was rude but several other clerks as well, what is wrong with this people, please appreciate that you still have jobs. Sun and Moon hands down is the go to spot for designer fragrances. The prices are way below retail and the staff are courteous and helpful. This is a wholesale warehouse so if you buy six or more fragrances you will get the wholesale price. Six fragrances or less, an additional ten percent is added to the wholesale price. Even if purchasing one or two fragrances at a time their cheap prices are still worth buying compared to retail stores like Macy's/Nordstroms/Saks/Bloomingdales etc. I like to visit this place on a weekly basis just to check out their new inventory as they restock the shelves with new fragrances every two weeks, so you never know what to expect. You will get the occasional high end frags like Creeds, Bond no.9s and select niche way below retail. Being a fragrance whore, I am always on the lookout for the next frag according to the current season. Check out Sun and Moon, you won't be disappointed! If you don't speak Spanish you tend to get the cold shoulder, I guess because the "help" tends to shy away from having to speak English. I walked in and looked around then stopped in front of the Carolina Herrera fragrances for men section. The girl that came up to help me was really beautiful but young and had the "deer caught in the headlight" look when I requested to sample 212 Men by C. Herrera, in English. She turned around and then pointed to some completely different cologne, gesturing if that was the one I wanted. Wow, how hard is it......Two Hundred and Twelve please. I am Mex-American so I said 212 in Spanish, she finally caught on. It was that way with other employees, I asked for Hermes, the owner; a Korean lady had no clue then referred me to someone else. If you think I am being cold, insensitive or snobbish not speaking Spanish when I am Mexican-American then I would not want you to run my business. I am looking at this from a point of view that may be held by many San Diegans, people that do not speak Spanish. There are would-be customers with cash in hand but because they do not speak Spanish may be put off by the "cold shoulder" customer care like I received when I spoke English to the employees. read more
