They both did a great job. My fingernails and toe nails are just awesome. Someone who works at Starbucks or cafe shop like myself should come to this place. They are so fast and friendly! Very professional service. I wanted a regular mani pedi but since only the Spa chairs were available, the owner sat me there anyway to avoid waiting too long. Just got one of the worst gel manicures of my life. The woman repeatedly told me it was my fault that she was messing up the manicure. The fact that I wouldn't let her cut my cuticles was what seemed them like the biggest problem in the universe. And she couldn't go more than 30 seconds without telling me that. She cut my nails way too short, and the polish is the thickest I've ever had. Which I might not complain about, if I hadn't specifically requested that it not be thick. It took an hour and 20 minutes to polish my nails. I came in with no polish on. I've been there before, and I honestly think I just got a bad girl. The salon is pretty toxic, as Nicki said before me. But I don't mind it too much. There is a great variety of nail polish colors to choose from. The lady I had for my pedicure did a great job taking care of me. Clipping my nails, the massage, painting them, etc.. It was all wonderful. I don't know if this place closes at 8pm like it says. My mom and I arrived around 8:30pm and they accepted us with open arms. And more people arrived after us, around 9pm. Even tho I arrived after hours, the pedicure was not rushed. I have been a regular at Sun Nails for about three years now. I have never experienced any problem or issue with my nails. I love the fact that no matter who works on my nails they always come out looking great. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive. They especially do great job with gel, it never chips. My favorite nail salon and I'm always happy with my nails. I always get a mani and pedi with spa chair for $25 which is great deal. However, today I went to get nails done and it was busy after a 45 min wait I'm finally happily sitting on the spa chair, and out of no where the manager(the guy holding the clip board) starts shouting at my nail lady and she is clearly looks upset and I look around all the other nail ladies are nodding their heads and look upset as well. He would not stop yelling at his employees, it got to the point I was starting to feel stressed out not only did I not understand what they were saying but it was complete hostile environment, not calm or relaxing at all. So I give it 2 stars because i was getting stressed out with all the yelling. read more

If i could give this place a no star I would went in to get a pedi first time here I'm not from this city and front lady said 1 hour wait because there was not many pedi workers so said okay walked out thought about it with my guy came back and decided to also ask for a removal for acrylic nails that is still have from some nails from my nail set and wanted to ask for a removal and a mani well she was rude about saying that no no only pedi that removal takes long to take of I only have 4 nails to get removed and honestly have gotten my acrylic mail removed before and it doesn't take that long will never come back to this place rude as bad attitude !!!!!! read more

I've been to Sun nails twice. I went because I saw great reviews plus it was convenient to my apartment, but the first time I went I asked them to remove the gel polish on my finger nails and replace it with a regular polish. The technician, who did it, did a terrible job. She filed my nails down so much that they broke off every day after that and hurt considerably for the next two months. When I went back a month later to show them the damage, I was assigned another technician who was excellent but they never offered to give me a free manicure as a result of the damages. Very disappointed. Have considered going back and asking for the last technician I had. Too bad. Sun Nails could be an excellent nail spa, with a little more training for their workers. It would also help if they spoke and understood English better. read more

really like this place, good prices but sometimes don't really put in effort or just don't get the job done right. ped mani good deal, but only if you want a nice paint job, they don't really do any scrubbing callus or any rough spots and when you ask to, they either don't understand or pretend they don't to the point you get frustrated and give up. I love coming in here when it's not super busy , although that's kinda hard since they do a great job at a reasonable price ! I'm not faithful to just one person but that last couple times Jenny has done both my mani and pedi , she's done such a great job I decided to leave rate them on here! She really takes her time, allows you to check them and let her know if she's missing anything without getting offended . It was my first time visiting this nail salon on Friday. The customer service was great but the quality was awful. I noticed while my manicurist was doing my nails, that the acrylic was very thin. I asked if she could make it thicker and she said it was not possible when I know it was possible. I feel she was just being lazy. Because they were so thin, the very next day they started cracking off. I was not doing any hard labor and they just cracked. I figured it would happen. Never coming back to this place. Wow, I had such a good experience at first. This place did a 180 on me. The last 2 times I went to sun nails I had male manicurists. And i have nothing against that I'm just saying to try and pinpoint who did a shitty job. My nails were filed crooked. They had a really hard time getting the gel polish to set and were nonchalant about it. I think he started lecturing me about something. He didn't take his tools out of a sterile bag. Horrible 5 second massage and he was going to let me walk out with globs of lotion on my hands, I had to ask for a hot towel which would be no big deal but it just shows the lack of attention and detail. She tried to hide it- but I could not ignore the sting- so I had to look. Not a bad cut but ruined the experience for me. My boyfriend was also clipped. I have had much better mani/pedis - they dont really massage your legs at all here or take their time. Hence the cutting of toes maybe. So if you want a quickie for 25 bucks and aren't too particular- then this is the place for you ;) I don't know if I will be returning. But give it a shot- you only have 25 to lose. read more

I went there because my roomate suggested it since it is close to our new place... I DON NOT REGRET IT!!! I got my pedicure with Mimi and my gel manicure with Lynn... BOTH WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I am not a fan of "reviews" but when you are this satisfied with a service, the least I can do is thanking them by sending more potential customers.
