What can I say but awesome! Took the kids to the $1.00 shows to see Turbo one week and Inside Out another week. Spent $2.00 each time - a buck to get in and adults are FREE, then another buck for kids popcorn and a small fruit punch. When it's hot out, it's a great escape. Lines weren't long and although I arrived late both times we got great seats. The theater has comfy wide seats but is a bit darks and I did need to use my phone as a light to navigate the top tiers. The theater opened just last week. Everything is shiny and new. Everyone was friendly and actively trying to get me to take a rewards card, as if I need yet another one. I got a Pibb and popcorn for $8.75, which tasted like your average popcorn. Truthfully microwave popcorn is better tasting these days. I always regret getting concessions because they are SO ridiculously expensive. But, that's every theater. There was no message telling users to turn the cell phones off, but we had no issues with the people in the theater, thankfully. There was an infant that cried out occasionally, but not incessantly. The movie itself was decent--The Amazing Spider-Man. The seats were pretty comfortable for movie seats and the bathrooms were clean. Granted, it was a weekday, and the place was pretty slow. Hopefully this place will keep its luster better that the other theaters that are actually in Charlotte. read more

I absolutely love this place. The best part is I live right across the street! How smart and convenient to build near a cluster of home neighborhoods and schools. This cuts down traffic to Charlotte for movies, saving time which makes less grouchy tired kids which makes happy parents . Thanks Town of IT for making this place great. read more

Awesome theater with wonderfully cozy chairs. The only thing I didn't like was after we entered the theater, and I went back out to get treats they insisted intently on seeing my ticket again...I know the ticket person was just doing their job, but I had no table or anything to put my snacks on while I had to find my ticket again. Hubby and i took in a movie last night and Wow this theater is amazing. First of all the manager on duty comes outside while I was in line to tell us that if you are paying with debit or credit come inside to avoid the wait....Awesome. Thanks . Then they tell us about this larger theater with PDX which is like the ultimate in surround sound and screen is huge ( hubby enjoys these options so we chose this ) and the seats are like lazy boy meets granma's best rocking chair . So I'm giving my overall experience a 10 plus the customer service was great, bathrooms were clean on a Saturday night when the place was jumping. Now we didn't snack but they offered a variety of choices including nacho's , white castle burgers and hot dogs along with regular movie fare.This may be a great date every once in awhile . read more

Theatre is great. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner. For those complaining of small children not being allowed in after 6:00, read the policies beforehand and maybe you wouldn't have the issue. There is a loitering policy also. Food is good, and they have an expansive menu. Nobody wants to hear a screaming baby or talking kids while they are trying to watch a movie. If you do not like the policies, go elsewhere. They also have a party room for kids, weekly special pricing on Tuesdays, and monthly throwback movies. The coming attractions / previews could be shorter. The last movie I saw had 20 minutes of coming attractions. The theatre itself is very clean, they clean it betwen every movie. read more

Best movie theatre in Charlotte. The ticket prices are much more affordable than the regal cinemas and they have 5 dollar popcorn and movies on Tuesday. Haven't gone to a different theatre since they opened! read more

The theater is nice, very comfortable chairs and a lot of screens. Two downfalls for me: 1. I wish they would pop their popcorn fresh instead of it already being made in plastic bags. It's ok but nothing like the freshed popped stuff. 2. VERY cold in the theaters, bring a jacket ! read more

Sun Valley 14, thanks for being built! I don't get out to the movies that often but when I do, I want to enjoy the experience. This place does that. I love the comfortable seating. The chairs rock, literally. Also, the seating setup is a little steeper than most theaters so there is virtually no chance that the person in front of you is going to get in the way of your movie viewing pleasure, not even the Greg Oden's of the world that are constantly taking up space on a bench/chair somewhere. Being from out of town I had no idea what to expect. Big screens, loud speakers, comfortable temperatures! The ticket price was fair ($10) and the seats are decent. The quality of the seats are excellent - but they sit you upright a little more than I would prefer. Best of all this place was clean. A nice theater. read more

This is a great movie theater if you live in Union county. It's pretty new and has very comfortable leather seats that rock back and forth. Also is a stadium style with the seating so you can see over taller people. The prices are comparable to other newer theaters. However, on Tuesdays they offer a $5 a ticket special. Me and my honi was on date night Friday Aug 17th and we enjoyed this theater. We normally go to AMC but didn't feel like the drive from Indian Trail NC. We saw Mile22 in 2D/3D format and sound was awesome !! Popcorn was fresh, we purchase 2 large drinks and Tub popcorn unlimited refill on it all. The seating was comfortable and love the fact armrest lift up in between each seat. We will be back ... awesome date! read more

Me and my mom took my nieces and nephew to see Night at the Museum on 12/22/14, 7:15 showing. Midway through the movie, some kids came and sat on the back row where we were. Through the whole second half of the movie, the kids talked and took out there phones. No respect for the people around them. My niece said she saw them in the lobby when she got a refill. Chances are they didn't even pay. When I told the staff. They came in the theatre. My niece said the manager came up, but didn't say anything. One of the staff said I should have told them sooner, but what would have been done. I really like the comfort of this theatre, but my Mom(Grandma) spent good money to hear a group of kids, who didn't pay disrupt our evening. They should be more assertive and check tickets. Afterwards, the kids were sitting in the lobby, probably waiting to sneak in the next movie? At least they could have refunded the tickets. I went for the first time Thursday. My husband and I saw Tyler Perry's movie Temptation. What a great movie and a very nice theater. The chairs were very comfortable and they rock. The staff was very nice. I like the way the seating is arranged where no matter who sits in front of you, you can still see the screen. I will go back again! read more

Awesome theaters! I've never had a bad experience or complaint about anything. Well, I do wish they still had the mini trash cans on the concession counter. Apparently, the new managers think it looks bad, but there's no where to put your straw wrappers while standing there, so they end-up on the counter or floor. Minute complaint compared to all the awesome points to this theater. As far as the complaint about date night and not taking your infant, the world doesn't revolve around you! I'm sure there's lot's of other people there for date night or just a night out that don't feel like paying to listen to your kids chatter or crying throughout the movie. Have you thought about getting a sitter and having a real date night with your spouse/significant other? I'm sure he/she'd enjoy a night away from the baby as well as the rest of us that go to enjoy the movie. This is a good movie theater. 5.00 dollars to get in on Tuesdays. Popcorn is good and i like that you can do the butter yourself. Some good service but i dont like some things. Like one i took my kids to see bad santa 2 and sausage party and the cashier was judgeing me which made me mad. My kids are old enough and mature. One is 13 and the other is 16. If that would not of happend i would given it 5 stars. My 13 year old is actually more mature than my 16 year old so it just made me mad when she criticized me. read more

We are very fortunate that we live down the street from this gorgeous new theater. Usually go on Tuesdays to take advantage of the $5.00 ticket prices. The seating is awesome---you are not on top of anyone. So glad the developers decided to erect this theater as we sorely needed one in the area. read more

Be wary about buying tickets online for this venue. I did and when we got there the ticket kiosk inside was not working. There was an additional service fee for this which I was refused a refund on. How can you collect a service fee for a service that you can't use? read more

I come to this theatre all the time and I am beyond impressed. The building is beautiful. The fountain is a really nice feature. Everytime I come the box office line moves very frequently. I have never had to wait for a long time to get my tickets. The inside of the building is always clean and looks amazing. Concessions food was amazing. They even have white castle burgers and other food items that are all delicious. The seating in the theatres is very comfortable. Stadium seating with rocker seats. Presentation looks great too; the surround sound is wonderful. Over this theatre is the best around Charlotte and I look forward to coming here many more times! read more
