A cute little place in Old City! It's a cheerful and fun space . I love that they have an art vending machine! For $1 you get a surprise mini art print! The chai tea was very good. In honor of the new mural, they had a pink chai. They used beet root for color. It gave the chai a subtle earthiness that made it unique. The food was also yummy. The avocado toast is made on a hash brown which and it a little more crunchy and filling. The owner is super sweet. She is also a yoga instructor and does lots of community events at the shop too

What inclined me to try this place was the ambiance alone just from seeing the outside of the building. When I finally had the moment to try it out, the ambiance inside made me feel so happy to be there! There's a dog wall (pictured) which I thought was so personal and a great way to create community. The curation of the space itself as a whole was so inviting and happy - I didn't want to leave! I tried their matcha latte today, and it was great, which I'm relieved about because sometimes places with amazing ambiance can lack quality in their product - this place however does not fall into that category!! They also have a ton of menu items and unique drinks, so I cannot wait to go back to try more menu items. I'll absolutely be a regular here!

I came here to pick up a too good to go order but was a little early so I also ordered myself a latte and hash browns and just walked around to check everything out. The Barista behind the counter was super nice. I got change so I could get one of their stickers from the vending machine. How fun. I really enjoyed my latte. And the hash browns were good too. Nothing super exciting but flavorful and exactly what I needed. I loved all the art around, the decor is super cute. My too good to go bag was pretty good too. $5 for a couple pastries! Definitely would go back!

A quaint little find near old city, Sunday girl is not just an adorable coffee shop, but also a spot that supports local artist and local creatives and businesses in area. Their pink stoop gives away a ray of sunshine that sits on the corner of vine and third or you can treat yourself to pastries and snack, snacks, and lattes all sorts. I love visiting and the owners make sure you wanna come back.

Sunday Girl is one of my favorite places to go to. Becca, the owner, is the sweetest. The aesthetics of Sunday Girl is so bright, colorful and cheery. If you love Snoopy and Garfield, you'll absolutely love the decor here. They collab with many local businesses and host different pop ups and meet ups frequently. I've gone to a dessert tasting, networking event, journaling meet up and more! The Sunday Girl refresher is my favorite drink to order!

What a cute little corner spot to grab a latte and a snack! The space is bright and cheery and has plenty of seating in the cafe area. There's also a large space in the back where they host workshops and events. They have some really cute merchandise for sale, too. It's dog friendly and there seem to be many regulars. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and the employees were all very friendly. I ordered one of the seasonal specialty lattes, the Iced Strawberry Shortcake Latte, and a sour cream donut. The latte was good, but I didn't really taste the strawberry flavor, which was a little disappointing. They asked if I wanted the donut warmed, and it was a great treat on a cold day. In addition to baked goods, they also have some tasty sounding sandwiches on the menu, so I'm looking forward to visiting again to try one. If you're looking for a coffee shop that will put a smile on your face as soon as you step in the door, this is it.

I was in here for a too good to go order and was pleasantly surprised that this coffee shop was also part of the Sabrina Carpenter free coffee Sunday girl promotion. So I had a super delicious coffee courtesy of Wells Fargo and Sabrina carpenter show that night ! Staff was friendly and made the delicious drink

    Matcha latte!

Amazing service and great drinks and food! The environment was incredibly welcoming, and I loved the pup-friendly vibe. Can't wait to come back!

Love seeing a positive face in the morning! I orders a BEC on sea salt rosemary-- my goto. Bagels were out in ~5 minutes, and it was a delicious bit to eat with coffee later on. The shop here is pick-up only, and on some mornings when I've visited especially in the winter, it's kind of painful to wait inside because it started to get a bit cramped. More just a heads up but not a piece of feedback though since their lot is pretty small. If you're grabbing breakfast in the Rittenhouse area, this is nice option for you! Just know that you'll have to take it to-go and eat it elsewhere.

The everything bagel seasoning was very good but the bagel was mediocre. The bagel was loaded with strawberry cream cheese which had good flavor. The others had regular bagels and had better reviews of the bagels. A couple egg sandwiches were described as being "good" and a plain bagel with cream cheese was given similar review. I'm not sure it's the kind of bagel shop that I would go racing back to at any point but it was decent. A bright light was how good the staff was to work with in terms of being friendly while placing an order. Probably brought this review from a 3 to a 4 based upon the staff interaction.

When ordering coffee, I'll let them know what I want (drip coffee) with whatever kind of milk (with heavy oat milk enough to change colour) and sweetener (with sugar please). Then you let them know any sides you want. I may or may not be saying it a bit quickly, because I'm half awake, and running on auto pilot, because I've lived in the Northeast for so long. The absolutely delightful lady behind the counter got it all recorded, fired, and sorted as and when it was coming out of my mouth. Confirmed everything, collected my payment, and we kept it pumping. As soon as the coffee was ready, called me over to grab it, because it was chilly and rainy while we waited. When one of the items I was ordering was taking a long time, the staff let me know that the item was taking a while longer than expected to finish cooking. My food came out perfectly done. Also, when they pass you your food, they confirm how many things you're ordering to make sure you get all your stuff. This operation is efficient, fast, and friendly. It's inexpensive for what you're getting. Coffee is excellent. Bagels have that snappy exterior, and chewy insides. Hash browns are crisp and piping hot. Coffee is rich and dark. Genuinely, you can't have any complaints when everything is done just right.

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

Turkey was tender, bread (ciabatta I think?) held together fine even though the sandwich was pretty loaded. Definitely a lean-over-the-plate kind of sandwich, got some chutney on my fingers, but that's kind of expected with a sandwich like this I guess. Also got one of the latke hash browns on the side and that thing didn't last long at all - crispy outside, soft in the middle, I finished it before I was even halfway through my sandwich. Might've been the better item honestly, don't tell the sandwich that.
