Came to biscuit belly for the first time for my husband's birthday brunch. We tried the chicken and waffles, the brisket biscuit (basically a biscuit eggs Benedict). The food was all good and fine, but nothing blew us away. The brisket wasn't as tender as I would have preferred, but it was still tasty and the combination of the cheese sauce, egg, brisket, and biscuit was delicious. The bonuts were as expected as well, I didn't get a very biscuit-y flavor, mostly still tasted like a donut hole. If you don't like boozy things, you won't like the butter that is given with the bonut. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was very busy when we went, but we could find a seat without problems and could converse without problems too. Overall, I'm glad we tried it, but with so many great breakfast options in Columbus, I'm not sure we'd be back in a hurry. read more

Their biscuits are absolutely incredible, and I was excited to see they have multiple locations because I'll definitely be checking out more of them. I ordered the Boozy Bird, and let me tell you... it was so good! It's crispy fried chicken on a fluffy biscuit with maple syrup, and it comes with a shot of bourbon. I might have to start my mornings like that more often! The bourbon even comes in a cute little souvenir glass, which was a fun bonus. Who doesn't love a little keepsake? Finally tried biscuit belly new to grandview and I'm trying to decide if it was worth the hype. When we got there, we got menus and looked at it for a decent amount of time. A crowd had formed around the place where they had menus so we had to go around to get in line which there was only a couple going to the register at the same time but the lady taking orders told us we had to go around thinking we were cutting the line so by the time we went back around there was a bunch of people that arrived so we had to wait. She wasn't the nicest when we got to the register but I believe she had it in her mind we were just trying to cut. Anyways, we ordered the basic breakfast and the rockafell supreme with a cold brew and cinnamon mocha. The coffee was soooooo sweet that I couldn't even drink it. The biscuits were very very good and big so that's the redeeming quality since it is a biscuit place. I think I'd go back just to get biscuits. read more

Saw a few posts on social media and decided to give this new restaurant a try. The building is so cute, it looks as if it belongs in a beachy vacation town. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. The food, the food was extremely mediocre. Nothing memorable. The best thing I had was the gravy. The biscuits are pretty dense. Finally got to check out the newest hot spot in Grandview, Biscuit Belly. It was almost 1 PM and there was a line out the door. We waited about 15 mins before someone took our order. Cute decor via murals and merch can be found around the restaurant. Friendly team and quick service. Everyone was so helpful with suggestions and making sure you have everything you need. Biscuit Belly offers a wide variety of items so you can enjoy a guilt free meal, but we did not! lol. There are savory and sweet items to choose from. I recommend the Rockwell Supreme which is the signature chicken sandwich with the edition of egg and bacon. Their biscuits are not dense but have that nice fluffy but flaky edge. The gravy that accompanies the sandwich is flavorful but not too salty. They have their own house brand hot sauce which wasn't too spicy. It had a nice jalapeño kick. We got an order of the Bonuts. Imagine if a biscuit and a donut came together to make a baby. Not too sweet with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar. Two types of sauces, I preferred the cream cheese over the jam. They have a wide variety of drinks but I settled on the Orange Creamsicle soda which is their take on the dirty soda trend. Portion sizes for all their foods were pretty hearty. There were leftovers for sure. They do bring your food to your table so be kind to your servers. Ample seating inside and a nice little patio on the outside. Can't want to come back to try a non biscuit item! Tips: Parking is limited in the lot. Best to try street parking. If you can, order ahead since I expect the lines to be long for a while you can save some time and get your food quicker. We stood in line for a hot minute on Saturday, because we just had to try Biscuit Belly! There was plenty of parking down the street, so we paid for a spot and joined the line. It was bustling. You order at the counter and take a seat, and everything else is taken care of by the staff. They even bus your table for you when you're done eating, so you don't have to worry about finding a trash can. Even though it was so busy for their opening weekend, we were greeted with kind service and tables were cleared almost immediately after the customers left. I downloaded their app the night before we visited so I could get the coupon for the free bonuts. We ordered the bonuts, loaded breakfast tots, an iced cereal milk latte, an iced praline mocha, chick'n ditch the waffle, and the rockwell supreme. We found a table easily and our food was out pretty quickly. The cereal milk latte was divine, it really tasted like cereal milk. The praline mocha was pretty standard flavor. Pretty good food. My wife didn't care for her omelet (her fault not the restaurants) but mine was amazing. I got the mamas boy and wow!! My only complaint was the home fries. The manager and his team had everything under control on a very hectic day and conveyed an incredibly friendly atmosphere! The food was amazing and came out so quickly! Nice new brunch spot that took over the hot chicken takeover location in grandview. I kept it simple and ordered the basic biscuit, the belly board and the loaded breakfast tots. Everything was good but what you would expect it would taste but the star of the show was the loaded "give me some of your breakfast tots Napoleon " crispy on the outside and creamy goodness in the center with a sweet dipping sauce. Very nice. Next time though I would recommend from what i saw was there huge biscuit sandwiches. They looked huge and made me regret my order. I would give them a try and also park in the big lots parking lot. Parking there is very limited and across the street worked for me. My car wasn't towed. read more

First the pros, greated at the door and given a great overview. Line out the door, Grandview was hungry for this concept. Donut toppings were yummy and the place was clean. Cons... Long wait and food shortages (not a biggy, they are new!, but seats sat empty while call in orders seemed to be the priority), somewhat bland biscuit toppings and sub par biscuits -- for a New Orleans style breakfast place a real disappointment. To be clear, I get much better biscuits from a can and this was a bit pricey. I can't believe this is actually an expanding restaurant chain. I wish they were good. read more
