Won't be going back. Took my kids for brunch here a couple of weekends ago after learning that there was an hour-long wait at our usual brunch stop, Seven Mile. Place was bustling (a good sign) but not slammed, and we were seated after a brief wait, which was good because we were all ravenous after hiking. Our waitress was professional, but neither warm nor friendly. Ordered chicken and waffles for each of my kiddos (10 and 13), and a chorizo breakfast burrito for myself. Asked the waitress to hold the cheese. The fried chicken over the waffles was heavily dusted with powdered sugar, which the kids and I found bizarre. I get that this is a sweet and savory dish, but powdered sugar in addition to (imitation) maple syrup is overkill. The waffles were heavy, doughy, and rather bland. The fried chicken itself was fine. My daughter barely touched her plate as a result. My burrito had tiny bits of American breakfast sausage, zero chorizo. When I shared this with the waitress, she said, "Yeah, our chorizo's a little different." Huh? She offered to replace it, which I accepted. When she returned, the new burrito had SOMETHING in the way of meat, but the pieces were so tiny and tasteless that it was (crazily) impossible to identify whether it was chorizo or not. I also immediately realized that this second burrito had cheese, contrary to my initial request. At this point, my son was getting close to finishing his plate (he didn't so much mind the powdered sugar on his chicken). The waitress did check in to ask about the burrito and I just told her that it was fine, not wanting the hassle of wagering a third failed attempt. Left feeling bummed, and brought all the leftovers home to the grandparents, who ate it, but were unimpressed. read more

We had our second visit to Sunny Street, Keller today. I'm always looking for a good breakfast place. So many places do so-so job of it. Sunny Street does an excellent breakfast! My wife had Chicken Salad sandwich and took some home, and had rest for dinner. We highly recommend Sunny Street, Keller!! read more

Sunny Street is a delightful new diner in Keller! The service was excellent and our food was enjoyable. I got the Baja Omelette, filled with bacon, feta, and Pico de Gallo, topped with loads of fresh avocado and a drizzle of crema. Yum, I will get that again! The omelette was served with a fresh fruit bowl and a piece of gluten free toast. My daughter got the traditional eggs Benedict with hashbrowns. There was not much left, so I think she liked it! For dessert, we ordered the peach cobbler. It was a huge portion, so we took some togo. We will be coming back again and again to Sunny Street! read more

We met my BIL and his gf here for breakfast this past Sunday since it was the most central location for the both of us and it was quite good! First off, the coffee was so good, we didn't even need the cream and sugar they brought out. I ordered the waffle combo with scrambled eggs and skillet potatoes as my side. You can order sausage and bacon for an additional cost (not included with plate). My husband ordered the eggs benedict with a side of hash browns. He said my skillet potatoes were much better and will be ordering those next time. The waffle was delicious. The eggs were a bit bland but they brought out salt and pepper so it was fine. My husband said his eggs benedict with ham were good, but not his favorite. He said he may try something else next time. The atmosphere and service was great!! The food here is really top quality for breakfast. I have never had a bad meal here. The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. The main kudos I have for this restaurant is their staff. My 2 year old daughter started throwing a fit about syrup being on her pancake and the waitress helped us get her a new one super quickly to resolve the situation. She never let us have an empty drink and provided exceptional service. If you want incredible service and good breakfast than this is definitely a spot to try. read more

Okay first off, I guess it's my fault for ordering huevos rancheros at a place like this. Anyhow my husband got chicken fried steak breakfast and found a hair in it. Also the orange juice I was drinking had black stuff in it. I did like the atmosphere but the food was a 2 or of 10. read more

Good coffee, food, and staff. I have breakfast and lunch here frequently and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything I've tried on the menu is good. They do an amazing grilled cheese sandwich and I wish they did tomato soup to go with it. read more

This is the latest breakfast place in Keller I'd say as breakfast places go it's mediocre the basic menu items could've been put together better and they don't really make much of a stretch to do anything new I would say they have their work cut out for them. 7 mile Café and and First Watch are much better. read more

We love Sunny Street! After the snow storm in TX, we had to live in a hotel right by this restaurant. We found it easy to walk there with our young boys. The staff was always wonderful, food hot and delicious and reasonable prices. After moving back into our home, we like to visit every once in a while as we really came to enjoy this restaurant so much. Our kids really love the Dino pancakes! What a great idea. read more

It did not seem homemade in any way and was greasy and had an old grease flavor. My grandson ordered a waffle which was rather much of a heavy biscuit consistency instead of light m fluffy. My family loves this place and it's my son's favorite place to eat. We went in today after church and politely asked for a table for 5. When we showed up there was only one family waiting for a table and we sat down in the waiting area. Once we sat down several families came in and put their names down and the waiting area got very busy. We waited for about 15 minutes and after seeing four families that came in after us get seated I went up and told the hostess that we don't need a table and that we can all fit in a booth (it's just myself, my wife and three small kids). She replied rudely that there aren't any booths available (which might have been true since she had just given them to several families that came in after us). I said, that's fine I just wanted you to know that we are fine with a booth and I got an eye roll from her. I went back and sat down. Another couple of families came in and were seated immediately and then my wife went up and talked to the hostess and asked why we haven't been seated yet and asked for an explanation on why multiple families that came in after us continue to be seated. She was extremely rude and rolled her eyes and turned around and started talking to another one of the teenage workers. My wife could hear what she was saying and heard her say "don't look now but this lady is super annoying and I'm tired of them asking when their table will be ready". The guy looked at my wife who was making eye contact with them and then the annoying hostess proceeded to start making stabbing motions to the other worker like she wanted to stab my wife. We then Grabbed the kids and went and got in the car and left. We will not be back which is a shame because we used to like this place. Sad that some bratty teenagers can ruin a favorite restaurant spot like this. I do not recommend this place unless they make some staffing changes or teach their employees to be polite and courteous to the customers that are keeping them in business. read more

Excellent setting, light and colorful. Friendly and attentive staff with a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. I have eaten at Sunny Street twice before and both times were very good experiences. Today I had the stuffed biscuit and gravy and eggs with side of rye toast with coffee. Their coffee is always flavorful not bitter and they are generous with refills. The stuffed biscuit was very flavorful with sausage, onions and peppers bake inside a very flavorful biscuit and covered with a creamy gravy. The staff was attentive and friendly and helpful in my selection. I am now a real fan of Sunny Street and highly recommend the cafe for a relax tasty breakfast. read more

I really really like this place. Clean contemporary design with a just a touch of rural in the decor. Again this place is spotless and when it comes to breakfast houses you usually find dark dingy old run down. Not this place, it's brand new with lots of natural lighting. Food is awesome and most importantly the coffee isn't burnt. All the breads are great and the cinnamon rolls are pretty good. The Baja Omelette is a very fresh take on breakfast if you like pico, avocados and crema. Waitresses are polite, quick and all know the product. I wanna start this review by saying that this is one my favorite cafe brunch places eat at and that i've always had EXCELLENT service, (Chris is amazing, if you ever go there ask for him). but today when I walked in to get breakfast this sever rushed over to tell us that we can't eat there because they changed their closing time to 2:00..(says 2:30 online). We walked in at 1:55 and was told we couldn't be sat at a table. The food was ok but the service was not good. We waited 25 minutes at our outside table before anyone spoke to us. We would have just got up and left, but we decided to wait and see how long it would take. Granted, we sat outside, but there were 4 other occupied tables outside being serviced by three separate Servers. I think they just forgot about us. Food was eh not much flavor. I got the low country breakfast that was supposed to have poached eggs but yet the eggs were fully cooked and didn't have the runny yolk you would expect. My husband got the loaded hashbrown which consisted of a tiny strip of hashbrown covered with two eggs and a bit of sauce. The portion was horrible for his and they forgot his toast that we later asked for. Service was mediocre, not very pleasant or friendly and we consistently had to ask for refills. Was excited to have a new breakfast place in Keller. Food had the potential to be good however all of our food came out lukewarm at best.

Decent place. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's quite a while until we are greeted. They have a patio to sit outside but if there's any sort of breeze they won't give you an umbrella since they "can't anchor it" and the umbrellas will apparently fly away. They should figure out a way to anchor it if that's the case. They've been pretty rude about it every time we try to sit outside and want umbrellas. If you're going to have a patio, have a way to keep umbrellas steady. read more

The sunny side eggs Benedict I had this morning was drowning in bearnaise sauce that was tasteless. I tried my husband's amigas plate and again, just sufficient.
